Absolutely wonderful experience getting my eyebrows done!! I was running errands and happened to notice a sign for $10 eyebrow threading and decided to get them done. Parisa (the owner of the salon) was kind enough to do my eyebrows as she was about to get lunch and she such did a wonderful job. She's a very sweet person and knows what she's doing! I came here today after not threading my eyebrows for more than 6 months. My last eyebrows lady messed them up so bad that I promised myself to not let anyone touch my eyebrows ever agin. Thankfully months later they grew back but they had no shape. So I finally gave in and started my search for someone who would not disappoint. After weeks of searching I decided to give Paris a chance. She doesn't have lots of reviews but all the reviewers said she was very personable and worked slowly and kept the natural shape of the eyebrows and that sounded good enough for me. I was a little nervous about this place since I've been looking for a threading place for so long and I've also gone to several 5-star rated places before that messed up my eyebrows. But I have to say I can definitely see why people give so many 5-star reviews for this place! It was a little difficult to make an appointment since she was only available during work hours but I was finally able to make it work. She only sees one person at a time so when I got there, I had her full attention. She listened to what my concerns were, what exactly I was looking to do with my eyebrows, and she went to work. Even as she was threading, I kept feeling her adjusting the thread to make sure she wasn't removing hairs from the wrong places which I really appreciate. She really took the time to shape them exactly how I wanted them. I was never this happy about my eyebrows before. Afterwards she provided some tips on how to care for my eyebrows and what I should and shouldn't do to get them into the perfect shape I want. I also got my upper lip done as complimentary since it was my first time. Came to Paris a few weeks ago to get my eyebrows fixed. I read all the yelp comments and made an appointment with her. First off, Paris' place is a room inside of a salon. The salon itself looks a little shady. It was dark and all the shades were drawn. No customers. I was about to turn and run out of there, but the woman in the salon asked if I needed help. (Too late to turn back). I told her I have an appointment with Paris. She took me into the room in the back and I waited there. When Paris came in, she was so friendly and easy-going. Had a smile on her face the whole time. She made me feel really comfortable. She put on relaxing music and sanitized her hands and mine before she started working on my eyebrows. Paris was really good. No pain at all. My brows turned out perfect! She even showed me what I can do at home to reshape my eyebrows. Only $7 for the whole treading. Amazing!!! Thank goodness I decided to stay and have Paris fix my hot-mess eyebrows. One suggestion I have for Paris is: find a better place for your business (because you are great at what you do) or tell the salon owner to open those blinds and turn on the lights so that they don't scare away potential customers. read more

The salon is by far the BEST one stop beauty gem I have found since living in San Jose for almost five years. Everyone is so friendly. The first time I came here was to have my eyebrows shaped and I was highly impressed. Paris gave me a personalized look and shape for my eyebrows upon request that complimented my face so well that it was very noticeable to co-workers the next day. I received a lot of compliments and I was very pleased. It was very apparent that she had a lot of experience and dedication to her craft and I will never go anywhere else again to have my eyebrows shaped. After having such a good experience the first time, I visited the salon again, this time to have my hair styled. I have natural textured hair and have had difficulties finding a trustworthy stylist to care for it properly in my surrounding area. One of the Salon's stylist, Jerusalem, reassured me that she could style my hair as requested. I made an appointment and had a silk press done on my already beautiful natural hair. She is off the beaten path and kind of hard to find but it only take once and you'll be hooked. She has her own little studio in another hair salon. The women in the bigger salon are also very friendly of you ever finding your self needing to wait. They had no issue with my charging my phone while Paris did he magic on another client. She's working with me to bring my natural fullness and arch back. She's given me great tips on how to get some hair growth in my patchy brows. Which is all natural and has totally worked! After getting some crazy advice (Rogain near the eyes is nothing less than reckless, not sound advice from big chain beauty brands) Paris' recommendation was much appreciated. I did my Microblending with Paris. Unfortunately my experience was not pleasant. My eyebrows ended up not being identical and one shape is different that the other. Like one arch is pointy and one is big and one is higher than the other in a very noticeable way. I need to pencil in my eyebrows to make them look more even. Although she did a color test on me on a consultation session to match my natural eyebrow which is dark brown the color after 2 3 weeks of procedure started to turn red which I need to cover with brown eyebrow pencil every time I am Stepping out of the house. Which is very frustrating cause the point of me getting my eyebrows done was to eliminate the need of penciling my eyebrows everyday. After my procedure was done she didn't apply any ointment on my scars cause she was on the phone and doing threading on another customer although I was not completely done. When I pay this much for my beauty services I expect a certain level of customer service. Make your customer feel well taken care of before you jump to the next one. I understand she is running the salon all by herself but at least when a walk in customer comes at least take care of a customer you are already working on and make sure they are getting the attention and care on their treatment. Overall I won't go back and give business. Looking for another artists to help with the correction I've mentioned. And of course I am writing a review for the correct business.
