So let me just say that Bella is amazing & Such a sweetheart and knows exactly what she's doing. She will get you right! Now.. I am reluctantly giving up that information because I really do not need her to be busier. She's very knowledgeable, she seems to know how to do almost any style, and her work is very neat and she puts in a lot of attention to detail. I was also there a few days before Christmas and was completely impressed with how she handled it things as it was early but the shop was pretty busy and she juggled me and other things well. I didn't feel neglected or forgotten about, as another lady did my pedicure during this visit but Bella painted my toes and did my manicure. She's very hard-working because she juggled all of that so smoothly. NOW MY NAILS: Lasted perfectly with no breaks, no chips, I basically looked as new for A MONTH & 4 days. (Ik I've been busy ) And they were so cute, one of the best that I've ever gotten and same as the new set I just got from her. Again, I probably should keep this information to myself but she's really sweet and she deserves the recognition for her hard & great work. The place it's self: Is very big. Clean, open space! Serene environment They offer beverages They have plenty of other services they do, even Hair & massages. ( I cannot speak for those things as I haven't tried those services yet) I believe maybe the receptionist is a little bit new so she'll get a hang of things but so far she's doing a OK job. They shouldn't give you to a nail tech that cannot do the work you want Never been more unhappy with nails in my life. Could've told me it couldn't be done full capacity instead of nails I got. It was my first time coming to Paris nail salon. I booked an appointment for 1pm. I had to wait until almost 1:30 to be seen. The lobby was comfortable and they have drinks, so I didn't mind waiting. Staff was very friendly too. Ellen did my nails and they came out amazing, just what I asked for. She was so sweet too. She didn't try to make me do anything else, just gave me what I wanted. It took an hour to do, which is amazing. Pricing wasn't bad either. I got a full set removal and a new full set which cost $80 before tip... I moved to Manassas and was looking for a nail salon and this one is 5 minutes from my house. I have to say I was very iffy with trying a new salon but the commute to my old nail tech is to far. So I decided to try this one out. First of all, I live my nails. The nail tech was amazing! I believe her name was Elle? She knows what she is doing. No complaints. Second, The lady that did my pedicure was nice but I did not like how she applied the polish and how it looks. My nails were cut uneven and I felt like pedicure was rushed. As of now one of my nails is chipped. Not even a full day. If you zoom in to my pedicure it looks like I didn't even look like I got it professionally done. Beyond upset is an understatement of what I am. I visited Pais nails for the first time because of the lovely reviews and beautiful pictures. My experience was HORRIBLE! For one I go in for a pedicure and fill in, by the way the receptionist is exceptional. Back to my services, the $50 pedicure is mediocre you're merely paying for two extra steps. Nail tech seats me at the dryer and tell me to wait for the next nail tech. I wait about 25 minutes while everyone else that was in the pedicure room goes straight to a chair. I finally sit with Tina. Without me asking Tina quotes me $50 for my fill in assuming I wanted gel. As she gets ready to paint my nails I tell her I wanted regular polish. She gets discouraged that I don't want gel and a slight attitude. Once she finished she sits me to dry and tells me, "because you got regular polish its$45" I'm like wait $5 cheaper that doesn't make sense. I question her once more and even remind her that she quoted me $50 thinking I wanted gel. Acting as $5 off was logical she stuck with $45. Granite my nails were a bit of mess that she cleaned up. But as I look at the price list an acrylic fill in is $25+ and a acrylic full set is 35+ and I still paid $45 for an acrylic fill in with regular polish. Gel is an extra $25. I'm so confused and to make things worse it's the day before Mothers Day. Happy 1st Mothers Day to me smh!! Beware of this place, hell try and pay for your purchase before they touch your nails. This review does not fully convey the rage, pain, and sadness I feel. I saw some of the nails in the pictures of the yelp page and I called to request an appointment with Henry. I explained that I prefer hand filing around the cuticle because the electric nail filer damages my nail bed more than usual in the process of nail filing. I was told to come in and that they could do what I requested. I brought in my own nail crystals for a design I wanted. The entire appointment was painful they insisted on using the nail filing machine and they did. I kept snatching my hand back and telling "Henry" to be more gentle. He went to town on my nails. I kept feeling burning from the machine on my nails. He was also working on two manicures at once. My nails and fingers still hurt. The design on my nail is not what I wanted and he insisted on doing what he wanted. They said there wasn't enough room on my nail to do any of the design I requested. They meaning Henry and another manicurist. I should have left but like an idiot I paid and left. Not 2 hours later the gems on both of my hands from the index finger fell off. I went back to the salon and requested a refund showing the damaged nails. They wanted to repair the nails, but repairing the nails was only part of the problem. I felt a lot of pain during the manicure and I did not get the design I had shown. Henry is the owner of the salon and adamantly refused to refund me or acknowledge my complaint. I will be pursuing my complaint until there is nothing that can be done, other than never going to that salon again. I get my nails done 1-2x a month and been to many nail salons so I have now a good barometer when reviewing nail shops. The place and atmosphere: Spacious and fairly clean. Techs were spaced out and their workstations were also neatly organized. The selection of nail colors: They seemed to have a lot but my lady (who I'm not going to disclose) only gave me one book to select from. I heard they also offer drinks here? The service: Is where the star-ratings fell short. Since it was my first time here, I usually have a 'go-to' service so I can really see how service and quality is before spending extra with add-ons. My tech in particular wanted me to upgrade every single option I wanted which I kindly and respectfully refused. She then began to shape my nails but never compared my left to right hand (I don't need to ask them to do this - right? So don't come after me). So now, I have finger nails longer than others, more almond than others and some missing paint on the edges ---- again, I recognize that I'm not going to tell someone how to do a professional service that is standard as "they already know the normal procedure" and easily charge $75+ for 2 services. Again, In order to give a fair review, I wanted to focus on the basic options they provided strictly as a baseline. (Reg pedicure/Gel manicure) I also did not like her two other reactions towards me as a new customer: (1) Usually rings are taken off before the lotion; she put lotion right on me not giving me a chance to pull back and take off my ring. She immediately pulled on my ring (which she was looking at the entire time and yes I'm trilingual, I UNDERSTOOD the language they were speaking. (2) After I sent her tip, she smirked and scoffed. I gave her 17% tip so I'm again unsure how despite my silence and respectfulness towards her and this businesses, she still felt that entitled. I have been coming to this nail salon since the beginning of the year but I realized I haven't written a review on Yelp. I used to love this place, like really love it, because of the superb service - fruit plate, free drinks, friendly technicians, etc. Today's experience was different. The technician I had didn't have any idea what nail polishes they had available and proceeded to polish my nails without even cutting them - I had to tell him to cut my nails and cut the edges of my toenails - and he responded something like I should have told him beforehand. Well, I was used to being asked before they started working so I didn't realize I have to supervise this time when I came there to relax. Probably the weirdest part of this experience is when I was about to pay and add a tip to my card (I was still planning to tip, unfortunately) and the cashier told me that I should tip in cash next time because they don't get the full amount in credit card transactions. Keep in mind that I have never had a problem adding a tip in my card on my previous visits. That's probably why they put an ATM inside the nail salon. Very sorry to say that this salon was sold and the quality is nowhere near what it was when Henry owned it. I made an appt. with Henry and was surprised to learn when I got there that he was no longer there - was not told that on the phone when I called. I was kept waiting for over an hour, and when I finally sat down and showed them the design I wanted, they used the colored powder gel - which I didn't want, but I was told to 'not worry, this is better'. The nails, when 'done' were so thick and fake looking, plus, they did not go all the way down to the cuticle, so it looked like they were a week old as soon as I left. Equipment was very 'used' looking and they kept trying to sell me on microblading for my eyebrows - a deal at $250. Already found a new place and will not be returning here. read more

I have been coming to Paris Nail Salon for years. The service has been hit or miss depending on the nail technician. Whenever, I've had an issue I've been able to get my nails redone. However, after today, I will not be back. Monday morning, I called the Salon to get my nails redone. I made an appointment for 5:00 pm with the nail technician. I was told to come in and my nails would be fixed. When I arrived, at 4:55 pm for my 5:00 pm appointment, I was greeted with "oh no, we only guarantee two days with regular polish." I explained it was less than two days and I called that morning. Loan Nguyen (the manager and technician who did my nails) came out fifteen minutes later and told me I needed to come back because they were "busy." I explained that I made an appointment and she told me I didn't. I proceeded to show her my call history with the exact time I called. She mumbled something and walked off. She went on to do another client during my designated time. Several clients who arrived after me, were taken back with no issues. I waited over an hour to get my nails repolished---something that takes less than fifteen minutes. No one checked on me, gave me an update, or offered a beverage. When I was finally sent to booth #9 instead of booth #1 (Loan's booth), the male technician told me color #151 (a yellow polish) was no good. Why would you keep poor, quality polish on the shelf??? Ok fine, I selected a different yellow. Loan comes over with another yellow. I asked why she was bringing me another yellow polish when the male nail technician already did. She proceeds to tell me she doesn't like the color. At this point, the exchange went left. She began arguing with me about regular vs. gel polish. I'm well aware of the differences and how long they last I told her I had pictures of my nails less than 24 hours of getting them done. That meant absolutely nothing to her because she continued to argue about regular polish. I was done! I told her to just choose a yellow and paint my nails. Poor customer all the way around. Ever since my tech left my usual place, I have been searching for a new one. I have tried a ridiculous number of nail salons in the area with mixed results. I am also stupid picky about my nails. The last salon ruined them. Let me tell you about this place. First, it is beautiful. It has a very welcoming and relaxing vibe. It is very clean. Henry was my nail tech. He was freaking amazing. He fixed my nails perfectly. He was also rather appalled when I told him about my experience at ManiLuxx. My nails are beautiful. He also showed me pics of nail art they do here. Holy crap. They can do anything from marble to dip to bling. I decided on trying a pedi. I HATE MY FEET BEING TOUCHED. I haven't had a pedi in two years because it is complete torture for me. Linda was perfect. I explained how I feel about pedis and she understood and did an amazing job. The massage was..... I don't even let my husband touch my feet...and she was epic. I will be coming back and I will let Linda do my feet. And, bonus, they serve wine. They have plenty of pedi chairs, so this is a fin place for a girls' spa day. read more

This place is okay. The salon is super clean, they will offer you an adult beverage, the ambience is excellent, and the range of services is awesome. I have never walked out of there feeling like I didn't have a great experience while I was there. Bonus, you can tip your tech with venmo which is just about the best thing ever because who ever has cash these days? Prices are also comparable with the area. My issues are with the longevity of the service and the inconsistency with the service. I normally get a pedicure with some kind of a scrub, and dip nails. My first issue is that my nails never seem to last very long. At my old regular spot, I could get a pedicure to last about 4 weeks without any wear or tear. Here, I can get two if I'm lucky. With my nails, the dip chips and cracks sooo easily. I don't know if it's the brand they use but it isn't a fluke because I have given them 4-5 chances and within a few days, I always have a crack. There are also some inconsistencies. The interpretation of what you ask for with a nail shape varies pretty widely, and each tech will do a different technique for the dip (but unfortunately none of them are effective). I had one experience when the tech only did one coat of the dip powder and one of my nails chipped later that day. I was so annoyed. I think I need to find a new regular spot just because I can't afford every two weeks for nails and they should be able to last a little longer! read more

I had such high hopes for this salon. I booked an appointment for the day before and they were incredibly helpful. I was looking forward to a relaxing morning and getting my nails done. My relaxing morning has turned into a nightmare. Moon did my nails. She was lovely. She's gentle with my hands and did a great job with the color. Overall I was satisfied and would have given Paris a 5 star rating. However this is where they have lost stars. Within 3 hours of getting my fill- it chipped in multiple spots. I returned and they were gracious to fix it. However when I returned the second time - I wanted a refund because I was annoyed. I did not receive a refund but they fixed my nails again and re did the whole set at no charge. I got a new color because they said that the paint was defective. Cool. I got a new color and moved on. This is where I'm mad. I got a new color and the polish has yet again chipped in less than 24 hours. I will be returning for my refund. While the staff is nice, do not get a gel fill here. Do not come here. On July 15, 2019 I called to make an appointment with Selene and was sadly told she no longer worked there. Because I was leaving for vacation though in two days I agreed to have my nails done by the new management. Upon getting there on July 17 I noticed they were horribly short staffed and very disorganized. My pedicure, at first glance, came out really well but by day 3 of my vacation it was chipping/peeling and one my my nails broke. My manicure was the biggest problem though. While she was doing my nails I told this woman (unnamed because she refused to give one) several times she was not doing what I had shown her. The design was horribly sloppy and the lengths were very uneven. That isn't even the worst part though. On day one of my vacation my nails began to hurt. By day five the nail on my right hand completely snapped off while I washed my hair in the shower. It hurt really badly and even bled.
