My face is raw in multiple places where Connie claims to have done deep extractions in areas where I have black and whiteheads. However, I do not get acne on my cheeks. Only my forehead and chin. Connie literally scraped the skin off my face on both sides of my cheeks. She kept mentioning that I needed fraxel laser done on my face and she knew someone who could do it for cheap. She also stated I only needed to come to her 2 more times. Then get laser and it would take care of my skin, which was not something I've ever heard from an esthetician. Initially, I was a little hesitant due to finding her on Groupon, but her stellar Yelp reviews enticed me to have a "wha cha got to lose" approach. Let me first say that you did not recommend any google maps or tell me to leave early. You also did not confirm if I had the right directions when I made the appointment. I followed my GPS based off the address on your website and left early on my own. This was my first time coming to your business and I was not familiar with the area. The first appointment I made, I reschedule 24 hrs in advance because I got a breakout on my face and was receiving a microdermabrasion facial in which I told you I was concerned. You yourself said that if I had a break out, the microdermabrasion facial would not be recommended and advised me to reschedule if I wasn't comfortable. This is the only reason I rescheduled the appointment. In addition, I made an appointment with you at 630PM which is rather late. You never informed me of having another client, until after the fact, nor did you give me any other alternatives or option to receive the full facial on another day. You DISREGARDED the fact that I paid for a full facial and knew that I wasn't going to receive one which was a big concern. You never explained anything to me over the phone and did not provide great customer service which was another concern. The only option I could come up with was to reschedule because I was not going to receive the full facial. You were the one who decided that you did not want to perform the facial and told me to refund my voucher without providing a reason why that was even necessary. Lastly, you never asked for my voucher number. The last thing you texted me was to refund my voucher. Again, I asked why and that I was on my way, and you never responded or made the effort to suggest something else. I understand that you are taking time away from your family but I have a family as well and took the time to drive all the way out to VA to get the facial done. Unfortunately, I got lost but attempted to make the appointment anyway because I did not want to cancel. I drove from my work in MD and left early but the traffic was insane. I am sure I am not the only client who has been late or has gotten lost. Since you are a person of business you should take the time to familiarize yourself with your area of practice and provide better directions and customer service to your clients in the event something like this happens again. Although I do have a GPS they can sometimes be glitchy as it is a computer device. You should not rely or assume that people follow google maps especially since you don't know yourself or can not provide directions on how to get around the area you work in. As a professional you should be knowledgeable in the area you work and should be able to provide accurate directions for people driving from DC/MD/VA or list directions on your website. You may be good at what you do but I was not able to experience this and was not given a fair chance because you decided that it was going to be "a waste of time". That is not fair nor right of you to make that decision without discussing the issue over the phone or in person. CUSTOMER SERVICE and PROFESSIONALISM are key and that is something that lacked highly in this case.
