They were coming from Manhattan so they would meet us at the restaurant. I researched mass transit and driving options. I don't know Newark and was trying to be cautious. I finally decided this parking and the timing and be able to walk to the arena was the best way to do it. We entered the parking structure on Somerset St, where it's like part of the Westin. The area is gentrified. The restaurant was a 2 minute walk. Red Bull Arena was less then 10 minutes to walk to. It cost $15 to park for 4 hours. Saved $5 not parking at the arena. I Would definitely park here again if I was in the area for something.

My booking was made for a lot that was on the Philly side of Newark, but for some reason, the week of my trip, that lot was no longer available. The service I used automatically "upgraded" (their words, and certainly not mine) me to this LAZ lot. While I fully hold way.com responsible for this flop, the lot itself has some quirks that my fellow Yelpers should know about. First of all, when we arrived, we were frightened to see a completely full lot. We found an attendant in a booth that asked for our confirmation and directed us a bit down the road to a larger lot. Crisis averted, or so we thought. We were told that we could request an airport shuttle up to 60 minutes in advance, so we did send a text to the number provided. Sadly, no one responded. We parked and then went back to our friend, the parking attendant to ask about the shuttle. He shared that it runs every 50 minutes. 50!!! Not 15! We were already cutting it close, so we called an uber and left. There were many other cars parked in some pretty reckless ways. It felt like a mission to get the car into a spot safely. The area itself is not one I'd want to hang around to wait 50 minutes for the shuttle. The other reviews here make it pretty clear that this one is worth avoiding at all costs.

The steep $40 parking was crazy but I understand there are not many places to park in the area. This location was directly across the street from the Prudential Center which is the home to the Devils Hockey Team. There are a few small lots in the area so I pulled in the wrong lot at first. They need better signage with the address on it. The staff was very friendly. When it was time to retrieve my car they did not make me wait long. I would definitely use them in the future.

I was with my sister and nephew who both come here often so I had zero worries. We parked at a small lot which I think was under a bridge of sorts. It was fairly empty and cost less than parking at the stadium. The walk over was under 5 mins. Double score. The Red.Bulls ended up winning over Washington. It was a great game despite the sweltering heat. We were on the first row, to the side of the goalie, but on the opposite side of the home team where all the fun stuff was happening. I noticed during the halftime show that all the fun activities were happening on the other side. Leaving for us was a breeze since we weren't fighting all the other folks exiting. So many cars were honking at the folks cutting them off. The sun had just set as we walked out of the stadium. What a sight to behold. The only concern for me is that their food selection was limited.

I had my car valet parked at the Mulberry garage location managed by Gateway Parking for a concert…read moreon Friday Oct 3. My wallet was in my purse in the back floorboard. Today there were 4 charges on one of my credit cards that is now missing from my wallet. I do not live in New Jersey, nor was I in NJ on Saturday, the day the charges were made. My husband and I came straight from PA, parked, went to the concert and left the same night. We did not stop anywhere in NJ that the card could have "fallen out" of my wallet or been misplaced. One of the valet attendants that serviced that lot on Friday night stole my card. I have filed a police report and will be taking further action. I called and spoke with someone who informed me it was unlikely his guys did it because they wouldn't do something like that and to call back in the morning. It was DEFINITELY one of those guys because there was no opportunity anywhere else at any other time that I stepped foot outside of my car in NJ that night. They made 4 charges to my card totaling almost $300.00. This is HIGHLY unacceptable
