This is hands down one of the best breakfast spots in New Jersey, and I'm obsessed! Just look at this spread from NJ Park Cafe. First, this strawberry smoothie was incredibly fresh--made right in front of me with fresh ingredients. It was rich, refreshing, and so healthy. And these pancakes? Absolutely to die for. I seriously need them in my life every single day. The matcha was perfectly made and so flavorful. I loved every sip. Then we have the salmon toast--just look at that preparation. Fresh, delicious, and packed with flavor. The French toast was loaded with toppings and tasted amazing. Definitely a must-try. My favorite was the avocado chicken wrap--so fresh, filling, and incredibly tasty. And of course, fresh orange juice to complete the meal. Honestly, everything here was so good, and I'm not exaggerating. They even have outdoor seating, so you can enjoy your coffee with a beautiful view. Food: Terrible. Ordered chicken avocado wrap. The wrap tastes stale and old, the chicken was tasteless and chewy. Dessert: chocolate croissant also stale, unable to be eaten. Tasted like purchased from Lidl, frozen and reheated. I would advise to purchase unbaked good from a reputable bakery and make fresh. Fries: ewww. Thin, greasy. Also just poor quality. Ambiance: chic and pretty. Did not have coffee so I can't comment on that. Would not recommend this place. Has a lot of potential but they need to work on getting better quality food. read more

I come to this café regularly because I genuinely enjoy the drinks and the atmosphere. However, I've noticed that one employee has a very different attitude when serving customers in person. She often seems unfriendly and doesn't prepare the drinks with the same care. Interestingly, when I've ordered through Uber Eats, the quality has been much better, which shows she is capable of doing a great job. I hope management addresses this because I really like this café and would love to have the same positive experience every time, whether I order in person or online, her name is Alexandra. read more

Park Cafe is such a hidden gem in West New York. The vibe is really nice, the staff were welcoming, and the food honestly exceeded expectations. Our family was traveling and enjoyed the cafe so much we ate here three times. Each time we were met with exceptional service, kindness, and delicious food. We had breakfast twice and dinner. I ordered the avocado on toast and omelette with spinach which were superb. Kids had chocolate chip pancakes which 2 people could share 1 serving. Avocado BLT was yummy per husband. The cappuccino is delicious with a cute heart design in the foam. The gentlemen who waited on us made sure our table was clean and even threw in free toast to take home. He also gave us sparkling grape juice at the end to toast! Do not let the negative reviews detour you from visiting this clean, fun, and yummy establishment. The baklava was tasty too! read more

I recently order the Avocado Turkey Burger on a multi bun on Monday afternoon via Grubhub. When I received my delivery I'd notice only a few fries with my Turkey Burger & a no Avocado on the burger but a little spread of the avocado (see image below). When I called to complain about the fries the owner response was sometimes we give you more or sometime we give you less in this case we gave you less fries even though I tip the delivery driver. He also said if I wanted more fries I have to pay for the fries. If this is the case you should increase the price for the Avocado Burger to equate for a large fries amount. The owner was very rude to me & never would I support this business moving forward. Today would be my last time visiting after being sold spoiled Baklava and being treated aggressively by the owner/manager. I took one bite and spit it out, even the smell was rotten and I still can't get rid of the aftertaste. I called to let them know I was sold rotten Baklava and the owner immediately is offended. After walking back to the establishment with the rotten desert, the owner tells me I "can't talk like that" about his Baklava, gives me $6, throws change on the floor and tells me to get out. Service is very upsetting. I'm 9 months pregnant and for the first time in America I faced to not be allow to go to use the bathroom. They asked me if I will buy something... Amazing. They let me in, after I told them that I always buy something and I'm their client. First of all they should remember their customers! This place is never busy with customers, and workers should remember their clients. I have been always buying coffee or juice or food. Unfortunately we don't have many cafes in our area, and this place has a great location, as a neighbor living close by to this place we always stop by to get something with my husband when we go for a walk to the park nearby. Do Not Give This Place Your Business. As you can see, I don't give many reviews but this "experience" merited one. I come in Sunday around 10am and order French Toast, Homefries, Bacon and an Espresso. The food was delivered quickly and looked wonderful. My only gripe at that point was minor. I was expecting traditional bacon instead it was some sort of Turkish bacon. I assumed and that's on me. I get through one slice of french toast. I pick up one of those plastic Heinz ketchup bottles on the table. I open the flip top and the ketchup bottle explodes. Ketchup is all over my face, getting in my eye, my shirt, and my meal (see photo). This is even forgivable. What is unforgivable is that the ketchup was R-A-N-C-I-D. It's like 3 colors lighter than it should be and smells awful. This is the point where I ask for my money back. The guy at the counter is like "This is bad." I said "Yeah...I know. May I have my money back?" I give him my card and he runs to his manager. She comes out the back speaking to him in what I assume is Turkish (you know, based off the bacon). Counter guy translates saying she's not giving me my money back. She then swiftly gathers the Ketchup bottle and cleans where I sat before I can take pictures. She doesn't offer to remake the meal. She doesn't apologize. She tells me, in English, that the ketchup bottle exploding is not her problem. At this point, I'm definitely mad. I wasn't given a receipt, so I ask for it. They refuse. I tell them I'm not leaving without it. The manager goes to the back and get what I assume is a cook. He takes a random receipt and THROWS it at me and tells me to get out. I check the receipt to see if it's mine. It is not. I ask for my receipt. He then threatens to call the cops and tells me I am criminal for staying in the restaurant. The manager then slams her hand on the counter and screams at me to get out. She threatens to call the cops on me. I quote the great Titus Burgess: "Girl, do your show..." The manager tells the counter guy to call cops. To his credit, he refuses. He gives me the total so I can contest the charges. I highly suggest you take your business elsewhere. You deserve better. read more

Honestly the worst tasting salad I have ever tasted in my life. The southwest chicken salad was 17 dollars but it was painful and I wouldn't have eaten for free. The chicken was dry, hard, and salty. I will admit, I was a bit skeptical because there weren't many reviews and the reviews I read were pretty average. Overall, I will say I am very pleased and happy. I ordered breakfast with my boyfriend after spending the weekend together. I decided to take a chance and try something new because I was in the mood for American diner type breakfast not Spanish food as I live in West New York. My delivery from GrubHub arrived at a decent time, I paid a decent price, the food was not only delicious but seasoned very well and you can tell people make effort to cook the food, which I can appreciate. My latte was still warm when it arrived and my breakfast sandwich was nicely made with turkey bacon and the eggs properly cooked. Smoothies are creamy and thick in texture and juices are liquid in texture. I ordered the buggy banana smoothie and ultimately received a carrot juice that wasn't even filled all the way to give me the full 16 oz. I have ordered delivery from here twice now. Both times I got the smoked salmon sandwich and a green juice, both of which are solid. I would order those items again any day. HOWEVER, the "lentil soup" is just a LIE. Trying to pass off plain thin broth with zero lentils or actual recognizable vegetables is just unacceptable. I hate writing negative reviews but the food was just not good. The chipotle black bean wrap was literally a cooked frozen patty with some lettuce in a wrap. The Shakshuka was very underwhelming and the toast was burnt to a crisp. The " fresh homemade croissants" were undercooked, mushy and doughy on the inside. Save your time and money, I am a coffee fanatic ( mostly ice coffee) I decided to try this place out since I was nearby, I ordered a caramel ice latte with oatmilk , the lady in the front had a straight face the whole time and was not pleasant.As I tasted the drink I realized it didn't taste anything like caramel and it was really bitter so I went back and asked for a few more pumps of caramel which then the lady at the front told me next time it would be extra $$ .... I have never been to a coffee spot where they charge you extra for sweeteners, Dunkin' Donuts does better. Ok so.... coffee here is pretty darn great! The food, hmm, not as great as the coffee. The employees are super nice though!! I order thru Yelp and it gets sent directly to them and I just go pick it up. There are always people in there with their laptops working, seems pretty cool and comfy. I'm just not ready for indoor dining quite yet but I will say it's pretty spacious so people maintain social distancing pretty well so I'd say if ur looking for a place to work & live nearby this place may be worth checking out. Also an order of chicken NUGGETS because they were a little cheaper than the chicken fingers and with the mozz/fries I was already at $10.
