What I love is that once you walk in and are greeted by a sense of instant comfort, an ambiance that invites you to relax, order a pastry and coffee, and read your favorite book you're burning with your eyes. The front of Recolecta hails to older times with its plush couch that literally begs you to sit and even take a nap if you're that bold. [I know there is an older gentleman who is, like clockwork, sitting here, minding his own business... but often with his eyes either closed or almost closed. Heck - I would be if I were him!] Recolecta has been a recent addition to the area. I love its soft music and the sense that I can sit back, not rush through my empanada, and leave only when I have to. That is a commodity that more capitalist places like Starbucks have abandoned instead of getting the customers in and out as fast as possible.
