The employees at the front desk were very accommodating and kind. I did a little tour of the place after we settled into our room. What a beautiful place! Old photos of the castle were hung around the hotel, which was a nice touch. Our room was stunning. Extremely clean, and the bathroom was huge. Our view from our window was incredible, with fields and trees. They offer horse rides but it was too chilly when we were there. The reason why I did not give them 5 stars was the distance from the town of Rome itself. Luckily, the hotel had a shuttle that would take us to the nearest train station, where we would hop on to get to the touristy areas. All in all, I highly recommend Castello della Castelluccia. I mean, how many people can say they actually stayed in a real castle?!

Great value! Wonderful hotel. We stayed here with our two children for a week and a half in July…read morethis year and loved it. The breakfast was included and featured many organic and natural options. Staff was great, and you get access to the pool and sauna. There's always a lifeguard present and pool toys are available for children. This place is great for families! About a 30 minute drive from the center of Rome, but the hotel does offer shuttle service to the train station if you don't have a car. Also, Free parking and many Grocery stores nearby. Definitely reccomend this place to anyone visiting Rome.

My wife and I stayed at the RC 7-8 years ago, and had such a great experience that we rejected the La Dolce Vita associated hotel La Minerva in favor of returning this summer for our holiday that started in Rome. Some notable personnel - Nicola - front desk - provided great assistance with our needs for cash exchanges, adapter use and a very surprising tour of our upgrade to the Penthouse. Serena - Imperial Club - friendly, and energetic. Attended and anticipated our needs, such as private car service due to taxi strike. Annamarie- front desk - attentive, friendly and walked us to the outdoor restaurant one evening. Matteo - coordinated receipt of an important package for my wife. Many others contributed to this brief, but memorable stay. Congratulations on assembling a great team! We hope to return again in the future.

Extremely disappointing customer service this visit…read more Via the concierge, I had reserved an airport transfer in a Mercedes sedan for 120 Euros. The company sent a 10-passenger van instead of a sedan. A taxi would have been more comfortable, a shorter walk from the terminal, and half the price. When I complained to the hotel, they said the van was the same price as a Mercedes sedan so I would be charged the same. This seemed like a bait and switch to me. Had I known the vehicle would be a van, I would have taken a taxi.

We were able to walk to great shopping, restaurants and sites, including the colosseum and Trevi fountain. Clean accommodations and friendly staff. With jet lag, our sleep schedule was sporadic. The housekeeping staff kindly managed to attend to our room regardless of the hour. It's luxury you would come to expect of the St. Regis brand. Pro tip: Ironing boards/iron not in room and must be requested via Front Desk. However, you can have up to TWO items pressed daily Free. I deducted one star because our bed was lumpy - time to switch out the mattress! And be sure to request a room on floors 1-3. The fourth floor is right below the gym and very noisy during gym hours.

We were always greeted with a smile and a hello. Our room was well maintained and equipped with all that we needed. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful-I was a big fan of the smoked swordfish and tuna. Be sure to check out the nightly champagne sabering (7 pm) and enjoy a glass in the beautiful dining area. Just a world class hotel in a world class city. Special thanks to the bellman who was able to track down the packages we left behind in a taxi. A life saver!
