Edit: Warning!!!!! Dr. Anosike the oral surgeon bullies women. During my visit. I witnessed him be condescending, disrespectful and demean the knowledge and care that Jalina the assistant at Lake Houston Dental Care was graciously extending towards me throughout my entire time there. At first I dismissed his comments towards her, which seemed to be a mistake, as he is very comfortable at speaking to women the way that he does. I told him about some 3D X-rays I'd gotten done the Assistant wanted to look it up to see if they had put it in my file and he starts telling her you'll never find it, and please teach me if you do, then when she couldn't find it after he was mocking her openly in front of me, she just stood back and allowed him to try and find it, he started going off on her telling her never in the history of creation have the systems operated like that and continued to berate her openly in front of me. I was silent for a minute before I quietly said, Dr. Anosike is this how you talk to the women in your office? And he started trying to say I don't understand all sides and that he wasn't being mean towards her, and I was confused on the feelings, I then told him my once low blood pressure is high and my heart rate is up after listening to him talk to her that way, so it's no mistaken feelings, he then walked out of the room. I immediately got up out of that chair so quick. Looked Jalina in the eyes and said never let a man speak to you and treat you this way, but you don't have to do nothing because I'll handle it. And walked out to file a complaint. PSA:The number posted to file a complaint for the board in Austin Texas is a dead end and doesn't lead anywhere. Be weary, this man travels, and is also the OS at the location on park lakes dental. (They are very much aware of his behavior as well). This man is a disgrace to all OS in humble, and to be a Nigerian man at that. I can assure you he's shamed his mother and father for raising a man of this character. It's an abomination to God and I pity his wife if he has one. If he was concerned about his personal life being examined, he would have shown greater care at being professional in the workplace. I'd rather keep my imperfect smile than let this man operate on me. Nothing will go well for a man like this. Worse place ever!! The Hispanic male Dr I forgot what his name was did the absolute worse filling in my mouth ever and gave no F's about it. They didn't even do what the VA told them to do!!!! I truly felt like the white hygienist was racist, I guess she felt like because I was a black woman that I deserve and like pain. Getting someone to talk to you on their phone would be a waste of your time because they will not answer. If you a white person this is the place for you because they will love you and will treat you with the upmost respect. They will roll out the red carpet treatment. I'm truly sad. I have been going here for years and was very satisfied with the dentists and dental hygienists, until a year ago. The staff started to change and a lot and I couldn't keep up with the dentist's that were there. I recently had orthodontia done there and I would suggest NOT to use them! Both the dentist and orthodontist companies always had to reschedule my appointments and instead of having braces for 1 year, it was 2 years. They would mess up my teeth one month and would have to fix it the next month and that cycle continued. Even though my teeth were not straight as I had envisioned they would be, the last time I saw them, they told me they were happy with my teeth and that they were going to take the braces off. Both companies don't care about your teeth and/or your schedule. Definitely look for another dentist even if you have to drive longer. I had an appointment scheduled for an annual cleaning and they called me the morning of telling me they had to reschedule (yet again). I rescheduled, but am currently looking for a new dentist so I can cancel that appointment and never go back. read more

Love the dentists but as of late it's been hard to get and appointment been a patient for 3 years appointment has been rescheduled twice after waiting for 1-2 months plus the appointments that were voided because they were closed due to Covid inconvenience patients and act like you don't have a job and it's no big deal when they reschedule you and don't try to make accommodations for a sooner appointment still waiting for the office manager to call me back made and already had an appointment at another dentist office with in a mile will not be going back! read more

I am highly disappointed with the service I received from Park Lakes from my initial exam to the extraction procedure to the follow up. This establishment is very unprofessional and looks to only get compensation, give care last. They have techs there who appear clueless to what they are doing and the specialists did not seem to care. I had my wisdom tooth pulled previously and this experience was far worst than my last. They told me they would contact me the day after (saturday) and was not even open. I had to call the dentists' other establishment (located in the Woodlands) to even receive a phone call back which was two days later to get a response in regards to my prescription for antibiotics and pain medication. If i could give them 0 stars i would. There are several things that i am unhappy with and do not have the energy to type it all so i will end this review with a note to all. Please avoid this dental office at all costs. I am sure they will not be in business for long. read more

It's been a while since my last Dental visit and honestly I was a bit worried coming in, but these guys were great and eased all my concerns!!! I highly recommend Dr.J and the rest of the Park Lakes Dental team. The team answered all of my questions (and I had a lot since I'm an engineer), were very professional, made me feel comfortable and safe. The whole experience from front staff, hygienist, assistants, Dr.J and orthodontics/Dr.Ng was thorough and efficient.The crew cleaned my teeth, got some x-rays, an exam, and a consult for braces.They definitely earned my business and I'll be back for future dental work!!! read more

I had the BEST experience at the dentist on February 14, 2022! I went in for 2 teeth extractions and was so nervous-right when I entered the door I was put at ease when Ms Jodi greeted me with such joy and happiness I couldn't help but to smile and relax a bit. Then I was met with Dr Aguirre. His demeanor is so calm and relaxing. Dr Aguirre soft and layed back tone immediately puts you at ease, he explains what he is going to do, then all through the procedure, he reminds you to breathe(which I really really needed)and continually checks on you throughout the procedure. Ms Jodi assisted him and I couldn't have asked for a nicer, more caring assistant. They worked great as a team and very professional topped with care about their patients that I truly felt was genuine. And did I mention--the procedure itself didn't hurt at all read more

If I could give this place a thousand stars, I would. Dr. Flores goes way above and beyond for her patients and trests the little ones as if they were her own. I brought my five year old in with tooth pain from a cavity that had gotten pretty bad. She explained the whole process to me and my family and helped ease our anxieties about the procedure. She took her time and was VERY patient with the procedure. She ensured that my son was comfortable by talking to him and making jokes. My son felt so comfortable and was so distracted by Dr. Flores that he didn't even realized when she administered the shot to numb his mouth. She goes above and beyond for her patients and its shoes. read more

Dr. Flores is absolutely amazing, she is by far the best dentist I have had in my 35 years. I explained to her the issues I had, had with my prior dentist and she really listened. This place is the absolute worst. I've had so many bad experiences that I'm amazed I went back more than once ( only reason was for the free whitening, which by the way is sub par). First time I ever went was for a routine teeth cleaning. I had an apt yet they made me wait 40+ min until I was seen, afterwards they pretty much forced me to do a procedure I didn't even want to do, which conveniently for them cost me an extra $200. When I asked them for their free teeth whitening they said they had to make the moldings first, which would be ready in a week. When I show up a week later they told me they lost the moldings and would have to redo them. When they called me back in 2 weeks after that to get my moldings and whitening gel I go in and this time they tell me they ran out of teeth whitening gel! Fast forward a few months later and I have an appointment again, yet this time I'm running a few minutes late, when I show up I come to find out they cancelled my appointment but they didn't even call beforehand to see if I was still showing up or to at least let me know they were going to reschedule it. I even tried calling them myself to let them know I was going to be a little late but I kept getting their answering machine. Long story short this place is horribly run. There are many dentists around the area, save yourself the grief and avoid this place. read more

As a new patient, my experience with Park Lakes Dental Care has been a nightmare. I called to get an appointment and was transferred to their centralized call center. I was booked for 8 am on a Friday. I showed up to the office and there are signs that the office is closed on Fridays. There was someone that was there, he confirmed that the office is not open on Fridays and rescheduled me for the following Wednesday (1st morning off of work). I received a call and a voicemail the afternoon before my rescheduled appointment telling me that my insurance information the call center collected was incomplete. I tried to call back, and again was transferred to the call center. I explained to the individual that I just needed to provide updated insurance information. They told me to just call back in 30 minutes to try and speak with the office staff directly. I asked them if they could send a message to the office instead. The call center agent did. However, they sent the message to a completely different dental office. I received a call from the wrong office. The individual at the wrong office was able to put my insurance information in my file since they are part of the same parent company. I then received a text message stating that my appointment was cancelled due to lack of information. I tried calling the office again to get this taken care of. I was transferred to the call center. The call center stated that they could see my appointment was confirmed (NOT cancelled) and that they had my insurance information on file. I received a confirmation text and email the day of my rescheduled appointment, so I showed up. When I arrived, they informed me that my appointment was indeed cancelled. They said they have a glitch in their automated system that will always send a confirmation message the day of, even if the appointment is cancelled. Talk about confusing! They took my insurance card, called my insurance, and was able to confirm me, so they allowed me to continue with my appointment. They had already double booked, so they told me they would cancel the other person who had taken my slot. I then went back for what I thought was going to be my cleaning. They had my name completely miss-spelled, so that is probably why they couldn't confirm anything. They only did x-rays and a quick exam with the provider (2nd day taken off of work). They then told me I would have to come back another day to be seen with a hygienist. I would then have to take time off of work a third time just to have a dentist appointment. I asked who I could speak with to complain about the complete incompetence and lack of professionalism. They handed me a card that told me I could leave a review on Yelp and Google. So here I am trying to save someone else from the headache I experienced. I'm sure this "half" appointment is going to completely mess up my insurance claims so I can't get a proper cleaning this calendar year. New patient be warned. This office is completely mismanaged. No customer service, lack of transparency, and poor training of their office staff and call center agents. I don't know how they plan to stay in business if they treat their potential patients like this. read more

I was very pleased with both visits at this office. The staff is very friendly and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Anita! She really eases your concerns and takes time to explain everything to you, making you convinced of her credibility. I get very anxious about dental visits but after a cleaning and having four cavities filled I can honestly say it was pain free! The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because the wait is FOREVER. You will not get out of there in less than 2 hours. read more

I have been here 3 times and won't go back. The "rooms" have scarred walls, and need repair and paint. Some of the overhead lights were out. The staff was friendly but my husband and I have had issues with their billing. Today we went in for a cleaning and apparently the Dr's were off today so we did not get an exam after our cleaning. The tech who cleaned my teeth basically washed my face in the process. My husband and I are shopping for another dentist office. I can say the work he did on him (crown and root canal) was fine and the dentist we saw the first time was very attentive, but I want more from a dentist office. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I've never experienced poor customer service until I came here. Who asks you to sign a consent but gets offended when you ask about laser treatment that is not covered by insurance because "insurance is not up to date on the latest technology". I think customer service training would help the business. The facilities could use also some updating. Front desk staff should take concerns about employees/dental hygienist more seriously. Being new to Humble we needed to find a new dentist right away. We were very disappointed with our visit here. The offices are not well kept, there isn't very much privacy during your visit, and they were not helpful in working through your insurance coverage. Horrible service. The hygienist couldn't get the xray tabs in my 5yr old's mouth without making her cry & gag. The hygienist was vry unsympathetic to my child's feelings & made it seem like it was my child's fault each time. The dentist, Dr. dang, was nice & took her time. However, after trying to yank out a loose tooth with string, she mentions that she would hve to use nitrous gas. Why mention this after putting my child thru all that pain. I'd rather go to castle dental!! STAY AWAY!!!! read more
