I've been told it used to be a racetrack, Japanese American internment camp, to name a few. It's hard to believe this place has so much history but can look so abandoned on the outside. This was where I had my first job working at Miller's Outpost / Anchor Blue. That's when it used to be a very alive mall then, with the super cheap double show movie theater. The good old days when life was much simpler and we weren't glued to cell phones, lol. I could've sworn I read somewhere a while back this place was sold, and it was going to be like a biotech/ apartment in like 5 years or so. I could be wrong. Like most malls now, it's mostly all about food. I believe they still do off the grid here every Tuesday. For what it is, it's still a cool place to just walk around, catch a movie, and get a bite to eat.

Other major brands include: Starbucks, Jamba Juice, Baskin Robbins, Carl's Jr, Round Table Pizza, and State Farm. While driving on I-280, this shopping center might make a nice rest stop. Sadly, L&L has been replaced with Nations! Yes, we now have a Nations for when you crave an old-fashioned burger or pie. There are two Starbucks locations: one next to Panda Express and the other inside Safeway. Unfortunately, Rite Aid is on its way to closing, and it's unclear what will replace it. Hopefully, it will be something that offers prescriptions again. For all you electric car owners, we now have multiple charging stations near BofA. Nothing has changed when it comes to the rude, inconsiderate people parking in the shopping center for beach days, despite signs cautioning against it.

I think I'm now too old for this type of clothing because not one item grabbed my attention, it looks like it is aimed at those in their late teens / early twenties because any older than that and you'll end up looking like Hoochie (did I get that term right?). Everything I look for in one location and is right off Hwy 280 at, surprise, the Westborough Blvd exit. The area is usually clear of trash and debris which is nice. People don't litter or the owner have the property taken care of well. Also, two gas stations and a major fast food chain are adjacent. Note the parking and lanes are tight and can get filled up quickly on weekends.

It was relatively slow as we were there between lunch and dinner. I do love their chicken. It's crispy and very flavorful. Though our sides weren't very good. The kimchi slaw tasted old and off. We ended up throwing that away. They have more random shops such as my namesake restaurant Ng's Cooking, an AT&T store, etc. For some reason, my cell phone data wasn't working at Bonchon, so I guess it would have been convenient to just stop by AT&T next door. Though it started working once we left Bonchon, so maybe it's just a dead spot? Decent little shopping plaza. I never really get down this way, but if I'm craving chicken, Bonchon will do the trick!
