the parking here is quite something. it is hectic! be prepared to park farther and just walk. good for you to walk anyway. watched this place grow over the past few decades and it's been through a lot. the current version serramonte is quite nice with a lot more additional stores that bring in the business. so many choices in the food court and even outside side accessible from parking lot. always nicely decorated for the holidays. great for photo ops for kids read more

The mall itself is comfortable and is improving in terms of the stores available. There are many shops such as Macys, Ross, Nordstrom rack. In addition, the Asian supermarket is nice so you can do some grocery shopping as needed. The Buffalo Wild Wings recently closed down, so I am interested to see what will take over. My biggest concern for this mall is their accessibility issue. THE ELEVATORS AT THE PARKING STRUCTURE BY MACYS IS NON FUNCTIONAL. MANAGEMENT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE BOTHERED TO FIX IT. this is extremely concerning for those who are unable to take the stairs. Wheelchairs, strollers, and walkers are forced to take the ramp with the cars and risk their lives. This is the biggest complaint I have with the mall and hope they can improve. read more

The Serramonte Center is a busy mall that offers a good selection of store and a nice food court with lots of seating. It can be difficult to find parking here due to how busy it is. They have some stores here catered to Asians such as Uniqlo and a Korean grocery store called Jagalchi. There is also a Dave and Busters here where parents can drop off their kids to have fun while the parents go shopping. I recently visited this mall for the first time. I had not been inside any malls for years, and I had low expectations. But!! It went well! I especially enjoyed the sales at Macy's, and the staff folks there were friendly and very helpful. I got 50%+ off many items. There is some construction going on in a few areas around the mall, so more improvements are on the way. I will definitely shop here again! read more

Why is this mall so poorly rated? It's a fine mall! Yes, the parking situation is ABSOLUTELY abysmal, but compared to some of the other malls in Bay Area, actually frankly, some of the malls in SoCal, too, this is a very nice mall! There's an ALIVE and full food court with a good variety of dining choices as well as other eateries throughout the shopping center as well as a good variety of stores (an attached Target too!, Sekaido anime shop, a Miniso coming in, and so much more). The decor is nice for the Christmas season and there's lots of photo opportunities too. Wish that the restrooms were a bit more plentiful and clean but that's a bit more understandable with how hectic everything was. I don't mind coming back here in the future especially seeing more developments they'll have in the future too. read more

In terms of malls in the Peninsula, Serramonte is fine if you are looking for shoes, hats, and some food and clothes. In the shopping center area as a whole, it's pretty much a one stop shop. Target, Nordstrom Rack, Jolibee, Super Duper, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dave and Busters, chick fil an and Panda Express. It's home to one of the only Dick's sporting goods on this part of the Bay Area as well. The local sneaker spot sells hats that I've only seen online, and it's been a go to spot for me to pick up higher end hats to add to my collection. They also got a pretty big shoe palace, JD sports, and Footlocker for your sneaker needs. The best part is that there's always parking available. The Macys side is usually empty and access to the mall is easy. This isn't the mall for designer stuff but they got the basics covered which is sometimes all I'm looking for. Definitely looking forward to the new Korean super market coming in, that will be a huge addition to the mall for sure. read more

A few of the more unique or appealing businesses at this mall include As Seen On TV, Art of Massage, Dave & Buster's, and Slime Kitchen (for kids). But on my recent visit, I did my shopping at Victoria's Secret and World Market. Then grabbed a sandwich at the Great Steak, which was delish! Some of my preferred food options here would be California Fish Grill or Hawaiian King BBQ, but they offer a good range of eateries for all kinds of tastes, from ramen and sushi to mochi donuts. Haven't been here in years, but the place still looks modern and inviting, not too upscale, but not run down or a ghost town, steady crowds and business even on a Monday evening. There should be signs pointing to the direction of this mall from Colma BART. I should not have to go around in circles trying to find the road to get to this mall. Additionally, BART should have staff readily available to direct people. I guess BART and Daly City does not want too many city patrons at this mall. Good mall, great mall even. But now their digital directory boards is now used for advertisement. I only get 2 seconds to look at the map, then 5 minutes worth of advertisements, then occasionally 10 seconds for a QR code where I can see their map online (whether the website map is up to date or not). Not even a stagnant little QR code I could use in the corner or a physical stand somewhere I could scan. Not customer friendly. read more

Always good service and family friendly. Serramonte has always been my go to since I was born back in 1978. They are always updating the small and making the best choices for retail establishments and eatery. I cannot say how happy I am towards their ability to upgrade and reinvent them all and make it so family, friendly, and dog friendly. The place is usually and always clean. I had some time to waste, having dropped off my car being serviced. It became clear, the path to this shopping center isn't made for walkers. If you're driving there's a big parking lot on both sides. More on that later. Inside I felt safe, a real plus, and the place is clean & spacious. There's only one floor, so you're not going to get an extensive collection of stores. Macys & Target are the anchors, with an H&M, and other familiar retail. I thought the large open space could use some more seating, and definitely more signage. Here's my issue. Whenever I go to the center I get completely disoriented, the layout has hallways off the main drag, then, wait, is this another main drag, have I been here already? So confusing? Is my car outside this entrance, or where? I resort to jotting down what store I'm parked near, & use gps to find my way out. On to the "food court". I asked a clerk who pointed me in the direction of Target. Turns out i had walked right past. It's about 3 take-out places, sellers of fried chicken, a dessert place, & a third shuttered establishment. There was some tables outside to eat your fast food. By contrast, the stores were well laid out. At Target I bought a small item after some retail entertainment in the toy department. Anyway, I had a good time, left hungry, but eventually found my way out of the maze. read more

They have revitalized this mall. We went shopping there twice within a couple of months because my tween likes shopping here!

My only issue is the food court area as I am sitting here writing this review the amount of people with none service dogs and on top one of them allowing their dog on top of the tables where people eat I really dont have a problem but when it comes to that thats doing to much now this needs to be fixed and put signs around the food court and enforce it at the end of the day its a mixed feelings thing but come on read more

This is what a mall should be. Hundreds of stores with lots of variety (unlike Stonestown which lost its way long ago). The Dave & busters sports bar/arcade is fantastic with great energy open till 2am plus the Dick's sporting goods is top notch. A massive Target store and Macy's are also on site. The food court here is newly renovated and has great offerings. They still have a Disney store for the kids and have expanded the mall with more stores located outside on the parking lot. Since Tanforan is closing hopefully Serramonte picks up Spencer's and Barnes & Noble. Overall though I love this mall. read more

This is one of my favorite spots when I am in SF. Love their food court and this mall offers various shops. Pretty sad that couple of my favorite stores were closed but overall this mall offers enough variety where I still stop by to this day. I highly recommend Naan-N-Curry located in the food court and don't forget to refresh your palate with nice milk tea @ 85C degrees cafe. read more

I like the Asian themed decoration and the recent upgrades. Macy's is the cornerstone and the Target Store seems to be the busiest. You have your usual stores geared towards teenagers in-between. Among the aforementioned stores, the Giant's Dugout and Hat Club are the ones I frequent the most. However, the Elephant Bar Restaurant was a nice addition. Saying that, it is what it is. You get what you pay for. Take it or leave it. Like every other mall, it has some positives and negatives. But it will suffice none the less. And one more thing: it has plenty of parking spaces, you just have to know where. read more

This mall is surprisingly multi faceted and interesting compared to some other malls in the peninsula. Pretty underrated imo.

I grew up in Daly City so this place has always been the PLACE to go for all shopping needs. This place has gone through remodeling and upgrades over the past 20 years. I remember Montgomery Wards used to be here and that is where I got my first GAME BOY! I also bought my first musical keyboard there and my family got our old washing machine from there as well. There used to be a Nintendo Station in this mall back in the 90's which was AWESOME! I would play on the nintendo for hours while the RENTS walked around the mall and shopped. The cool thing back then was that all the kids use to just hang out here, those were the days!!! Today, the mall is very DIFFERENT but there are some things that remain the same. The food court has been remodeled which is nice. But, Sbarro was the longest stapled restaurant here at Serramonte. I am so surprised by that but it made sense! Everyone love PIZZA! The Walgreens that use to be here is now a Gym and the nasty Burger King is gone as well! Side note, when the Burger King was here it was so GROSS! I would find the most strangest and weirdest bodily particles in my food, YUCK! Back to the mall, it has come along and progressed with the times. With new paint and shops this mall is still a cemented, in my mind, as a landmark of Daly City. Oh, all the asian folks that use to hang out here and play chess and walk around the mall are no longer here. I don't know what happened but I never see them anymore in the mornings. They always had their seats opposite Sbarro! I get the feeling that they were kicked out for some reason, that's a bummer! I like the upgrades and additions that have been here. Dick's Sporting Goods, Target, Finishline, Elephant Bar, and Barracuda are just some of the recent additions that have been brought to Serramonte over the past 15 years. What a transformation! I was here recently, and mini stores like The Rack, TJ Max and Party City came out of nowhere, located where Daiso used to be. Speaking off, does anyone know where Daiso went? Hahaha.... Has it been that long since I was here last? I guess so because new stores are everywhere. They have really fixed up this mall. Cleaner aisles, more places to eat, and their buffet court have healthier eats too! That's fantastic. Even 85 Degree Bakery invested a new store here so really glad to see things are going well. With the rise of ecommerce, we will see a trend of more big box stores closing. Toys R Us will soon be history. However, I think Seramonte Mall have found a niche to slow this trend down by opening smaller versions, of big box stores by focusing on seamless experience, personal service and guaranteeing efficient and quick checkout which I think, will save the retail stores. PS- best time to shop here is from 2-5pm weekdays. The rest of the time, it's packed and parking can be a challenge. Cheers! read more

I like coming here to Serramonte Center is because they host Sports Card Show about two times a year and also to get free autographs from some ex 49ers players like Guy Mcintyre & Wendell Tyler who made appearences to Serramonte and to sign free autographs... Sometimes there could be other ex 49er players that would make a appearence to Serramonte Sports Card Show and sign free autographs... On other times that, I like coming here is the Giants Dugout or Sports City two of my favorite shopping stores that they have here!!! This mall is not too bad. I go there ever so often with my son. He enjoys visiting the fountain and looking at the fish and turtles. We went there over the weekend on 6/16/19, to visit the fountain to see the fish and we no longer see turtles. He cried because the only fish was dying. Obvious neglect by not cleaning the water. I would suggest if you're going to put animals in your water, please keep it CLEAN. read more

Serramonte has definitely improved SO much over its time. I remember thinking this place was not all that crackin' 10 years ago or so, but it definitely gained its popularity (at least in my friend circle/generation) when I knew a lot of my friends going there for the only Forever21 nearby or finding teeny bopper style at Nina's (Both of those stores now are blown up into huge versions of what they used to be!) Now there's an addition of a Uniqlo and H&M, Hollister remodeled, Mervyn's closed, the Disney store is more grand, 85C just opened and now Dave and Buster's is on its way! There are some stores such as Macy's and JC Penny's that still have their classic look since the very beginning, and they're still in business. Oh and, I love the target here. They usually have everything I need and want. There's also a lot of parking and spots to eat like Buffalo Wild Wings and Elephant Bar. And you usually can find what you want here if you can't find it in SF. read more

Awh, I don't believe it. This place is getting to be a big flop. Even after renovations it still won't cut it. During my college years this was the mall that I always went to whether or not I worked in San Francisco. Now as I make it here it's gotten ugly. Either this is due to the pandemic or I have been away from this place way too long. I was in the food court and a great majority of food prices have risen at least 80%. I am still broke and it's not making my shopping experience any better. There is also a lack of security here because some psychotic J E R Ks think they can jack a store. Back when I was here there were real cops stationed nearby patrolling the place from baddies. Parking is terrible on the Weekends and the parking lots are full of trash left behind by people who are too hyperactive or just want to treat their SamTrans ride like it's an amusement park. However there are still things I still like here such as a Jollibees. It's really addictive. On some happy days there will be special events for the people such as a political meet and greet. One time I was here, there was a Filipino health fair and it made me super happy. Got a free pen. Every time I step in here it feels like I am in the Philippines AKA the culture is very welcoming and homely. For a small mall it's really diverse. I love their bus station because service is a lot frequent here than at VFL in San Jose and Hillsdale Mall in SM county. read more
