Excellent annual visit with Dr. Nazila Biria at the Fort Lee office! The facility is spotless and peaceful, and the check-in was seamless. I've been going here at the Fort Lee location for some time now and it was really bothering me that Dr. Shin was very dismissive and distracted, to the point of even being rude at times. I finally asked to get switched to Dr. Kwon and I am so happy I was switched. Dr. Kwon is soooo kind and thorough with details. I had a kidney transplant and when I would go before to see Dr. Shin, I felt rushed and as though none of the major issues and changes were even being taken into consideration. it felt like she was just seeing me so she can fill a refill as quickly as possible. I cancelled twice because of transplant issues and she just said she's not gonna see me any more and I can book with a different provider. I told her I wasn't even trying to book with her, but she doesn't care. She has horrible bedside manner. Dr. Kwon on the other hand, checks every box and addresses the most minor detail. if you want a great and kind doctor, book for Dr. Kwon. if you want a doctor checking her texts during your appointment, I guess Dr. Shin will do. It would have been a 1 star review, but Dr. Kwon turned it into 4! I had to subtract the 1 for the horrible treatment from before. Lol. read more

never any availability to see a doctor when you're actually sick. they just continue to sign up more patients to collect money. what's the purpose of having a primary care physician and you can't see them when you're sick? please do yourself a favor and find another office. read more

I waited over 1.5 hours to be seen by Dr. Seri Kwon. The time in the room I asked the nurse multiple times if there was an update - as I could've rescheduled (I only had childcare for a limited time that day). I kept being assured 15 minutes more, 20 minutes more, etc. Finally I was seen by Dr. Seri Kwon 5 minutes AFTER the office hours are closing. Not only did the doctor say we could do my yearly physical in 5 minutes, but had no idea I had done bloodwork etc, had no idea what I was here for. At this point I was frustrated but I understand, things happen. I asked if we could do the appointment another time because I work for my insurance and would like my ONCE A YEAR physical to be less than an afterthought. Dr. Kwon agreed and said she'd mark it as such and I should call and schedule. Lo and behold 3 months and multiple calls later she billed it to my insurance as my yearly physical and I have an out of network charge for a an additional annual physical....for being seen for 3 minutes. The office staff at park medical Tenafly has left the bill unsettled with the actual parent company...and I am stuck sitting with a monthly bill for poor quality care. Careless and frankly unethical on her part, I have never felt like a check to any other doctor. So now I cannot get my yearly physical, and am stuck dealing with customer service. I have never written a review before but this is just beyond frustrating. Imagine being billed, and then given extra work, for a service you work for and did not receive. read more

I was a little scared to go for my annual after reading so many bad reviews. Well, I just came back from my appt and I had to come here to do this practice some justice. Staff was VERY polite, my appoint was on time and the doctor (Dr S. Kwon) was a GEM. I'm glad I switched practices! read more

Office staff is childish, rude and extremely unprofessional. When trying to refill a prescription for my elderly mother, who has been a patient of Dr. Katz for many years, they refused to fill a prescription (that had one remaining refill - but was called back by the office) - stating that my mother hadn't been there for years. Which is completely wrong. They said they did not know when her last visit was because they did not have that information????When I became frustrated, they began to laugh and ended our call. I feel terrible for elderly patients that have no one advocating for them when dealing with such rudeness and unprofessionalism. read more

Dr are good, nurses are not bad but receptionists (only koreans) all think they are something. The reason probably is because they learned to speak some English over those other Korean population doesn't and feels like it makes them more important than others. So this is very common attitude of people who have nothing more that satisfy their life. So it is actually sad. Looks like they are doing damage control and got a lot of their negative reviews deleted. I've been trying to get them to send a referral for weeks now. They never pick up their phone. It's always straight to voicemail. The support staff at this office are rude and incredibly difficult to work with. The lab assistant is always on her phone or unfocused. One time I had a ginormous bruise on my arm cuz she blew up a vein carelessly. They'll get upset if you ask questions. One time I asked a nurse administering a vaccine questions about the release form and she threatened to refuse me the vaccine cuz I didn't do my homework beforehand and apparently asking questions to a nurse will have her flying off the handle in the rudest, most inappropriate way. Instead of addressing the problems in their office, they'd rather get their negative reviews deleted. I need to find another doctor's office. It's too much of a headache at this place. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE PLACE!!! they charge you randomly and the staff is very rude. they told me to visit the office. But when I get there, the doctor said they made a mistake and tell me to leave. Then I received a bill from them. I call the billing office, they said as long as I have visited the office, I must pay. When I call the medical center and ask them about the bill, the staff HANG UP MY PHONE!!!. Dr. Seulkih Shin is probably the worst doctor I've ever seen. She is culturally incompetent, and she does not take the time to get a full history or do an accurate diagnosis. At one point she actually asked me what kind of medication I wanted -- isn't she supposed to be the doctor? I've given this practice so many tries because I live in a nearby town, but I will not be coming back here after getting much superior care at other practices. My first visit to Park Med's Fort Lee office. Went there to consult Dr Gao. He was wonderful: smart, imaginative and very easy to work with. As were the nurse and office staff. I had three different problems, and they were all taken care of in one visit. No waiting time either. read more

Dr. John Hwang is good but their staffs including receptionist and nurses are worst of the worst especially Korean nurses and staffs. They never pick up the phone and never return calls. They are very rude, impatient, and angry all the time. Those bad staffs ruin the reputation of the great facility. Such a shame. read more

I saw Dr. Seri Kwon for a physical. I had positive experience. Everyone of the medical staff were kind and polite to me: the lady who scheduled my appointment and checked me in and out, the nurse who took my vital signs as well as who did my EKG and gave me a tetanus shot, the lady who drew my blood and received my urine sample and Dr. Kwon herself. I can't comment on billing services yet since I just went today but I hope I won't have any problems. I was a bit nervous when I saw some negative reviews. My experience was good compared to other experiences I had in NY and Fort Lee with unfriendly and impolite receptionists and doctors who had no bedside manner skills. Also, I like the fact that their lab is onsite since both in Fort Lee and in NY, I had previously visited medical practices that outsourced the blood and urine testing to other labs. read more

Receptionists can be rude, impatient, and quick to interrupt you as you're explaining the reason why you're calling. Lab technician was incredibly unprofessional. She was talking on her cell phone the ENTIRE time. Yes, she was talking on her cell phone when I walked in the room, AS SHE WAS DRAWING MY BLOOD, and still after I walked out of the room. Because I'm Asian, she probably didn't think I understood what she was saying as she was speaking in Spanish, but my 8+ years of Spanish classes led me to acknowledge that the phone call was not urgent in the least bit (not that that would be excusable behavior either). However, the hispanic nurse that assisted me and Dr. Yu were both very pleasant. I thought my experience with the physician and nurse would be enough for me to stay as a patient, but I soon realized that the support staff (receptionists and lab tech) have given me every reason to leave. The receptionists in the Tenafly office are even more disrespectful. Maybe HR should consider their process of hiring support staff. Still in search of a PCP. Maybe I'm picky as I will be a doctor in a few months, but I truly believe quality of patient care has sadly diminished in our area. read more

I love them! I have been to all three locations, due to my scheduling conflicts with work, and have had nothing but good experiences. Dr. Lee is great. He listens and addresses all my concerns. I moved further away and tried looking for another Dr that was closer. I tried one and she did not listen or care about my concerns at all. So I now rather driver the extra mile to see my Dr. I used to be that person that never went to the Dr. They have multiple Dr at their practice, so I am able to see my OBGYN at the same office. The best part is when I show up for my appointment, I have not had to wait. They take me in and the DR sees me shortly. read more

This the worst experience I've had with a doctors office in my life. Never bothered to call me back with results of endoscopy/colonoscopy after I paid thousands of dollars for the procedure. When I came back for the same problem a year later Dr. Bae tells me oh wow good thing you came back so I can let you know about the results. A YEAR LATER. Never bothered to tell me from the beginning what he found. Then when I asked approximately how much a much a medication would cost the Dr. Bae exact answer was "I don't know, I'm not your daddy" !!!! Absolutely outrageous. No doctor should say things like that, I am a grown woman. Now I have been calling for 4 days trying to get him to actually call in the prescription that should have been done the same day. It is impossible to get anybody on the phone no matter how many messages you leave. Please save yourself the time and stress and do not go here. read more

I had just moved from another state to Palisades Park NJ. I was looking for a primary care physician when my friend recommended this practice. I needed to see a doctor asap because I had some health form from work that needed to be submitted. I called the office and the receptionist sounded very nice and accomodating . They gave me the appoinment the next day. I was not sure which doctor to see when she recommend me to Dr Julia Yu. She told me to come 15 min earlier to fill up the paper work or to go to their website to download the forms. I did as I was told. I arrived a bit nervous not knowing what to expect. As I walk to the receptionist she greets me with a smile which puts me at ease. After 3 minutes of waiting I was called in to the room by the nurse. She took my history and did my blood pressure. The nurse was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. After she left the room I met Dr Julia . She was a joy. I will keep her as my doctor. After the check up we did the blood since I came fasting and was told I will be get a call with the results of my test. I was so happy with the office I decided to make them my family doctor's office. On my way out I made an appointment for my husband with a Dr Lee, since my husband prefers a male doctor. After a couple of days a got a call from the doctor with my blood test result. I am giving them a 5 star. Thank you guys for your awesome care. read more
