Booked a cabin here on a whim, never having been to the area before because we saw that they welcomed larger dogs (we have a 60lb and 80lb dog that travel everywhere with us) and there was ample space and amenities. In short, our stay was so amazing and peaceful, and we will definitely be back. First things first, the owner was super friendly, responsive, and accommodating - proactively, a few days before arrival, and in person as well. He was knowledgeable of the area and activities and gave us some superb recombinations (where to go, etc). The check in was easy and straight forward, and our cabin was ready and clean upon arrival. More so than we would normally expect, so we were happy from the start. The cabin we checked into was at the end of the motel in a beautiful grassy and wooded area. One of 5 cabins available for rent and each one had a fire pit, outdoor covered seating, a bbq area, semi-private areas, etc. Inside the kitchen had basic dish ware (plates, bowls, cups, and mugs), a spacious fridge, stocked Keurig coffee maker, large full sized refrigerator, gas stove and microwave... the bathroom had soaps, shampoo, and conditioner available... the living room area came equipped with DirecTV and comfortable seating.... And the bedrooms were spacious and oh so comfortable. While the highway is close by, it's a fairly quiet area and super peaceful at night. I got a small glance into the motel rooms as I was walking our dogs around and the rooms looked just as clean and put together. Very inviting and welcoming. 10 out of 10... we will be back in the area again in a few months and will be renting a cabin again. I've never felt this relaxed staying somewhere... so looking forward to it! read more

Practically everything especially the very friendly and accommodating staff and owners! This was our 1st time in Oregon after a failed attempt last year due to a snow storm. We chose Park Motel and Cabins not just for its great reviews but for the convenient location to destinations we planned to go. The owners were very friendly and kind to check & fix an outlet for the hair dryer to work plus they allowed us to use the outdoor grill complete with charcoal and lighter fluid, made our 5-nights stay feel so homey. The rooms are clean with comfy beds, clean sheets and towels and good choice of complimentary coffee. We'll definitely stay here again! read more

We Love the owners of this adorable place to stay. They welcomed us like family. Fully remodeled and Charmingly decorated, these rooms give a country cabin feel while providing high class features including an extra large mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The large king bed was firm but comfy and there were shelves at each bedside which fit our c-pap machines perfectly. In this quaint room, there was also a large recliner and a table with two chairs nicely provided by a window overlooking expansive green space. The bathroom is compact but very nice with shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers provided. The massaging shower head in the large shower felt so good first thing in the morning. Better than any of this, the best part to staying here was their welcoming of our fur babies. Yep, this is a dog friendly establishment! They are very diligent in making sure the dogs are clean, safe, quiet but also very comfortable. All of this for less than the cost of even lower end standard motel rates. What a wonderful experience! Make the short drive to the outer borders of Florence for this excellent stay. read more

What a waste of good money. Horrible host, tiny room billed as a cabin. Right on Hiway, the log trucks and 18 wheelers kept us awake. Loud chickens right behind room, construction noises, no pots and pans for the kitchen we paid extra for. For $25 they would provide eating and cooking utensils - total rip. We booked two nights for the wife's bday and tried to cancel second night, but because we booked through Reservation Desk app we could not get a refund. All around worst experience in years. Paid over $400 for two nights. Will never return and will tell anybody that would listen to steer clear. read more

The reviews were so good, we thought we'd splurge on a slam dunk experience here. It was... mixed. The room was really pretty. And the shower was nice. (If a bit confusing- see photo.) And the bed was reasonably comfortable. But.... Well.... If you've ever been the sort of person who wanted to know EVERYTHING going on in the next room- this would be ideal for you. It felt like we were watching their TV for most of the afternoon and evening. And given that they were watching golf, that says something. The next morning, when the husband wasn't listening and asked the wife to repeat herself, MY wife was able to speak it along with her. They provided earplugs. I had originally booked through Booking.com, don't do that, book through the hotel itself! We got a King/Queen and it was great! Beds were clean and comfy, it had a keurig coffee maker, Samsung tv with Directv, mini fridge and microwave! The bathroom was clean and had dispensers for the soap, shampoo/ conditioner and body wash! The shower faucet is backwards, H is cold and C is hot, but who doesn't have quirks! The owners are a family and their son who my niece was bragging on him as he is the one who checked her in. Great young man who has signed up for the Navy and we wish him a safe journey! Near to Old Town in Florence, this motel and cabins vacation spot has what you need. I had my whole family, 6 in total, in one cabin (Lighthouse) comfortably. Spotlessly clean. Two bedrooms, a futon, kitchen with full-sized and new appliances (fridge, range, and microwave). Staff was informative and unobtrusive. I didn't check into the kitchen kit they had on offer, as we brought all of our own supplies. A picnic table, grill, and fire pit are available for each cabin. The entrance is a little hard to see at first. So quiet at night! Laundry room had newer machines (coin operated). I would 100% recommend. read more

Usually-- we stay here. Never again. AFTER I left a good review on Booking, they charged me $75 for "the towels you ruined". We stayed here for two nights, Dec 29 & 30. No rugs provided to protect their floors. We laid a towel down at the front door. Yes, it was probably stained ruined. They informed me when I called, that it was for the towels. I'm shocked. Truly shocked. We cleaned the cabin and the rooms VERY well when we left. Their house keeper came and rather than pay attention, she grabbed MY towels and I found two she'd already claimed. I am missing my own towels. They did not return them. Further, their sign said if you take a towel it's $5 for the cost of the towel. We didn't take any! And we DID NOT HAVE 15 of their towels to ruin, nor did we. After many years staying here, they've lost my business. It makes me sad. We are not rotten guests. We have 100% perfect feedback on every site. And we travel internationally as well as domestic. Guess our next $1,000 for two nights will go elsewhere in Florence. Shame on you Clancy. read more

The bed was very comfortable, adjustable thermostat kept us warm as there was snow and 30 degree temps that week. This place is amazing! At first approach, it seems questionable. Pulling up my wife said, "I'm sorry for booking here if it is bad." She was wrong to say this, the place is just awesome! Beds are large and comfortable. Staff helpful. Met the owner, super nice guy who just wants guests to be happy and run a successful hotel. Outdoor seating area with gas fire pit. Outdoor fire pit, can be used. Owner has stuff to help get it started, just bring firewood, available for purchase on main street. Great base for exploring Florence if you are ATV'ing on the sand dunes, trying crabbing or fishing, or hiking the area. Totally worth a stay. read more

Avoid this motel. When we checked into the motel, they already asked for "tip". The staff claimed it was for housekeeping, but the minimum default setting for the tip is 10%. You can imagine how much you tip if your room rate is more than $200++. It is like dining in a restaurant and the waiter already asks for tip before the meal is on the table. Secondly, the check out time is 1030am, according to the front desk. But inside the room there are two notices on the wall stating the check out time is 11am. We were surprised by the angry knock on the door on the checkout day at around 1035am (no courteous call on the phone?) asking us to leave immediately. I told her about the notices in the room but she threatened us with extra charge if we didn't leave soon. What a good hospitality manner. Next time, we will book BestWestern not far away, at least with nice view and nice people to deal with. I give two stars here because at least we do not have problem with wifi. read more

Where do I even start. If I could give 0 stars I would. First off we got there at 3pm when check in time was supposedly, they were still cleaning our room and we had to sit there waiting. Trying to even get into the room was a hassle the door was jammed and it took several tries to get it open. The room smelled disgusting. Our 4 year old son was playing in the room and we noticed his feet were completely filthy with blackness which we learned was from the carpet. ITS THAT DIRTY. They claim they have free WiFi, that WiFi doesn't even work. There was construction going on outside the room. Don't let the kitchen picture fool you, you can't even cook in it, they don't offer the necessary tools to do so. Silverware? Nope. Pots and pans? Nope. We went to the office to demand a refund and they claimed they couldn't do it. Once I told them I would leave a bad review they were magically able to refund me but told us we had to vacate the room immediately so they could "clean the carpet" the girl at the front desk claimed the carpet was like that just because it was "old and it can't get clean". They don't clean the rooms at all like they claim, they are money hungry people and overcharge you for a room that should basically be free with how disgusting it is. When we went into the office for our refund, they didn't even apologize and we're extremely rude. Such a horrible experience with them and wouldn't wish it on anyone trying to enjoy their stay in Florence. We were able to relocate over to another local hotel down the road and we explained to them our experience and they told us they've never heard a single good thing about Park Motels and Cabins. DO NOT STAY HERE, save your money it is not worth it. Also, I sat here reading the other 1 star reviews on google. There was a review 1 YEAR AGO, complaining about the dirty carpet and a review from 2 YEARS AGO complaining about the room not being done by check in time. They claim they listen to feedback, but obviously don't and haven't changed these negative things for years. They just don't care. All they want is money. Don't give it to them. Writing my second review for this awful establishment. I don't even know how these people are still in business with how disgusting their rooms are on top of now doing illegal stuff. I asked for a refund when I left their room the day I got there because of how gross it was. They claimed they refunded me and gave me a receipt. Two days later my bank account showed that as soon as the refund went through they ended up charging my card on file again stealing the money from me. I ended up having to call my bank to dispute it. I'm most likely going to file a lawsuit against them because this is not ok. BEWARE giving these people your card information, they use it and charge it even after you are no longer there. They have a phone number on their website if you try calling it, it says it's a non working phone number. There was a different phone number on the refund receipt and it said the same thing when you call it that it's a non working phone number. It makes sense because these people are shady thieves that can't run a business and think they can get away with doing illegal stuff. read more

Did not realize there would be no silverware or accoutrements in kitchenette, so ate my dinner salad with fingers. Gal at the front desk was just almost on the verge of being rude. Perhaps could stand to be a little less "direct" as an example when I inquired about the 10:30 check out time when everything I had seen in print had indicated it was 11. Looking for a hotel to stay for the night with our dogs, I looked through Yelp. Wow, what a great find! They have cute rooms that look like log cabins inside. The beds are super comfortable and the showers have great water pressure. Our room came with a mini refrigerator, microwave oven and a Keurig coffee maker. Plenty of area to walk the dogs around. It looks like they also have larger individual cabin units for longer stays; will need to check it out! Two thumbs up! read more

We thought this was very nice and added a 3rd night to our stay (in a kitchenette) with our pup. We were in room 3 which was a little noisy being close to the housekeeping area. What would be a perfect addition would be a patio outside at the back so one could eat outside. A really relaxing visit and a speedy drive to Florence old town. Would def. consider renting one of the larger cabins with friends/family. Superb place to walk the pooch early am/late pm with multiple clean up facilities. read more

This motel is okay--clean rooms, but small, with very thin walls (you can hear all your neighbors' conversations, and snoring). Tiny stand-up only showers. We thought from the "cabin" in the name this would be more rustic (out in the woods more), but it's right on the 101 highway and not much better than a motel 6. I wish we'd stayed at the Siltcoos motel (right on the river!) where we rented kayaks. If you can, stay nearer to the river or one of the lakes. This place is fine if you need a place to sleep, but there are much more scenic places around. read more

We stayed at Park Motel and Cabins during a recent trip to the coast. My first contact was met with EXCELLENT service during booking. We stayed in the A frame, so I'm not speaking for the lodge rooms or cabins. The A frame was adequate. The kitchen was small and the shower tiny. It wouldn't take much to add a little comfort. The Master BR closet does not have a bar or any hooks to hang clothes nor any type of dresser for storage. Even a second luggage stand would help. The LR has a nice heater and a futon. A side table or coffee table would be nice to set your coffee. The A frame is right next to highway 101 so it's a bit noisy during the day. Thankfully it quiets at night. The place was clean and has a coffee and tea station and a large table to gather for meals. The beds are comfortable. I guess the thing that disappointed me the most was the request for a tip during check in. I've never encountered this before and I was caught off guard. I was told it's for the housekeeping staff but there was also an envelope in the room for housekeeping tips. It just set a bad tone. I would try the Park motel again but wouldn't stay in the A frame. The cabins looked much more modern from the outside and are set back from the road. read more

We stayed in the retro motel portion of location, but they have cabins, an A-frame and apartments. Our room was comfortable, clean and cozy. The bed was really comfortable, the staff has gone above and beyond for us. I would recommend this motel to anyone who wants to be just south of Florence, near the ocean, sand dunes and the siuslaw river. read more

Filthy room, not covid-19 compliant, stolen property. RUN AWAY -- DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY AND WELL BEING, BECAUSE THEY CERTAINLY DO NOT!!! We booked 5 nights in one of the motel units with a kitchen. We were greeted at reception with a person not wearing a mask (they had to go and find a mask). Once checked in we entered the room with the overpowering stench of disinfectant covering an underlying hint of urine. The carpet was horribly stained and sticky in places, and that was just the start. With covid-19, we travel with wipes and sanitizer, so we started wiping down surfaces to ensure our safety and were physically sickened by what we found. There was a dirty band-aid in one of the dresser drawers, sticky food spilled in one of the kitchen drawers, food left in the sink drain (with the plug covering it), dog food on the floor, and food spilled and burnt all over the bottom of the oven. Our wipes came up filthy, even more evidence that nothing was properly cleaned. On top of that, the bed was broken and listing to one side. When we asked if they could fix the bed, a young man (without a mask) came in, re-positioned the mattress, and it declared it fixed (it broke again later). Then we started looking for pans and utensils, of which there were none. They were delivered in plastic tubs with the excuse that they had to all be sanitized (but there were plates, and glasses already in the cupboards) - yes, it made us really wonder about the state of what was left there. We ended up stripping the bed and sleeping in a sleeping bag we brought because we didn't trust the linens, then we checked out the next morning. The staff offered no excuse and no apology, and after we left a propane camping burner behind, happily stole our property, denying any knowledge of seeing it when they "cleaned" the room. In all the traveling I've done, this was by far the worst experience I've ever had with a lodging rental. Oh, and for a bargain price of $170/night. read more

We stayed in room 6 with a queen bed, a good sized and comfortable rocker, a table, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pet friendly. Parking is right in front of the room. Staff is friendly too. I am giving this location 2 stars instead of 1, because it was pretty clean. We made a reservation for 6 people. The room only had 2 king sized beds. It was quite a squeeze for all of us. Glad we were all related or it would've been quite awkward. The room was too small to have anywhere to change or get ready. The shower hit me on my neck at the highest setting, and I'm only 5'5". It also made a horrible squealing sound the whole time. read more

First off the front desk person was not at the desk when we arrived, and an employee addressed me and my friend in their robe talking to us very rudely. They don't want you to smoke yet have benches and ashtrays. The room was clean however No flatware, pots, pans even though dishes are provided. Would I recommend this place probably not. I really liked my clean king size room #A1- and the people running the place. The shower and toilet were separate from the vanity, which made getting ready much easier. I thought $150 was a little high for a Sunday and there was no tub, jacuzzi or pool. I have stayed there many times over the past 25 years but not for a couple of years now...wanted to stay a few months ago, and asked the woman on the phone if they had the room at the end available - she said they had two, I said well as the units are all in a row there can only be one at the end - she kept insisting there were two...she would not guarantee that I could get the one at the very end as "both are at the end next to each other" as I really wanted the end one I ended up giving up and stayed elsewhere. Today I thought I would try again... well, a minute into talking, the woman said "I will have to call you back" - and of course she did not - and of course it must have been the same woman! I liked the look of the cabin, the decks, the fire pit and gazebo. It looked like a really nice place. UNTIL we stayed out first night. There were 6 of us in a cabin. It had 2 rooms and a futon couch so we had a full house. After the first night we took off early and went to play in the sand dunes. Our trip there was amazing. Upon return they had not cleaned at all. If I wanted to clean my room, I would have stayed at home or in my 40' 5th wheel. I wanted a restful and relaxing, stress free weekend. We went to make food and the pots/pans supplied had food stuck all over the outside of them. Nasty looking cooked on food. No new towels (we had to get some) and missing normal items stocked in just about any hotel room. Like paper towels. We brought our own thankfully. That night we sat in the gazebo and it was nice (why they got 1 star). We asked them to clean our room but basically they refused. Guess because we did not tip at the start? I tip 20 percent for normal services rendered. Then I tip up to 300 percent for exceptional service. I have even been known to tip more. I will never stay here again. The group I was with made this an aging trip. I will continue to travel with them. They are the only thing that kept me from losing it on the office while we were there. read more

We love this place and try to stay at least one night whenever we travel up/down the west coast. It's clean and tidy, and the staff are super friendly. Do be careful though - the reading lamps that hang on the wall above the bed are right at head height. If you sit up too fast, you can bash your head. I haven't, personally, but our neighbor did hard enough to shake the wall, and his swearing seemed to indicate that it hurt. read more

We stayed in one of the cabins and it was very comfortable. Good beds, quiet space, etc. A couple of minor points that kept me from giving it four stars: It is dog friendly, but the rule sheet is kind of heavy handed and off-putting. I'm sure many pet owners need to have common decency spelled out for them, but I found it a bummer to be, basically, threatened with a $250 fine in such blunt language. The kitchen is stocked with basic necessities, but it'd be nice to have a paper towel or something like it within sight. Also, no salt/pepper or cooking oil -- bring your own. These are small points, but to me they made the difference between three and four stars. Putting aside my pickiness, the cabin was very comfortable and the experience was quite good. There is a big open field for exercising the dogs and it helps you forget you're alongside HWY 101. I loved that each cabin had its own picnic area and that there was a good deal of space between each. They get points for not jamming the cabins on top of each other. Speaking of cramped space, don't try to take a bath in the bathtub if you're over four feet tall or 100 pounds. read more

Close to many excellent restaurants, beach walks and anything else you might need on a Coastal getaway. They are way too modest in their self assessment and their rates are very reasonable. We just got back from staying at one of the Kitchen-ettes units at the Park Motels. Stayed two nights in the knotty pine one and it was perfectly fine. Now, this is not the Ritz, so dont expect that, but clean, well appointed, close to Honeyman State Park and a variety of other locations. The owners were nice, and one of the things we really liked is that this place sits back from Hwy 101 a bit, so the road noise is less than other places in that area. We would def. go back. read more
