Waiting for our vehicle to be pulled up
    Alaric S.

wow, I'm actually surprised that the service got a little bit better, one more extra star from my updated review from last year. The overhead roof actually gave directions on what to do, the parking attendant greeted you and scanned my reservation. Told me to park on Road J as in Jack. Went all the way down only to find a spot closest to the exit! The shuttle bus followed me all the way down to my vehicle loaded in my carry-on. It was actually quite entertaining that he was complaining about the management there, but now it got me thinking that management is actually reading these yelp reviews, probably why the service has somewhat surprised me with all the changes they made. Looking forward to my arrival tomorrow to see how that goes.

    Leaving a happy customer.

Sometimes you have to wait 25 min for the shuttle so don't park here if you want a timely experience.

Grand Ave is a busy street with restaurants and other businesses and street parking, which is metered, is hard to come by and I've never found a space there. So grateful that there's this garage on Miller Ave. that is a short walk to the middle of Grand Ave. It's a four level garage with two elevators, one on the north side of the garage and one on the south side which leads to the walkway to Grand Ave. Remember your parking space number. Rates are $1.25 per hour and free parking on Sundays. You pay at the pay kiosks on the first floor next to the south side elevator. You enter A for English or B for Spanish, enter your parking space number and the amount of time you wish to park, pay by Visa/MC or coins and press green check to finish transaction. You don't need to put your receipt on your dash. If you can find parking on the streets, Miller Garage is a good option for your parking needs for the area.

The roof spaces provide a beautiful views of the city, the mountain sign and nearby San Bruno Mountain. However, I had a strange incident today. I had to be in the city for a meeting at 2:30 PM. As I arrived to the garage, I noticed an officer checking vehicles and giving tickets. I continued driving until I parked on the third level (where I don't need a city permit but only pay the hourly rate). I immediately walked down the stairs and paid using the machine on the wall (next to the northeast elevator). I selected MAX TIME (which goes all the way until 6 PM). After I paid, this same officer approached me. He saw me pay and then asked which space I parked in. I told him the space and he wrote it in his little notebook. He mentioned the problems that they've been having with the machine. He then thanked me and told me that I saved him time because he wouldn't have to check my vehicle. A couple of hours later (around 4:45 PM), I walked back to my car and discovered a parking violation under my wiper blade. I thought that it might have been a mistake, but my vehicle's license plate number was included. I immediately went downstairs and typed in my parking number. Sure enough, my space is still good until 6 PM (Max Time). So, I took photos of the screen (showing that I was good) and the location of the machine (with my space, time remaining still show and listed on the screen). I then took photos of my vehicle with the space listed. Unfortunately, there is no place on the ticket listed to call. So, I went home (to Palo Alto) and visited the website. I logged in with my violation number and immediately appealed. I included the photos of my vehicle/space and the machine's screen and location. I don't know if the officer simply got confused by it and gave me a ticket in good (albeit incorrect) faith. It is frustrating that I'm stuck appealing a ticket when there is absolutely no violation. Hopefully, this will be resolved rather seamlessly. I've never received a parking ticket in my entire life. I am always extra careful for it. In fact, I've parked at this lot many, many times. I've always paid for my space using "MAX TIME" and I've never had a problem before. It's a shame that a single bad experience like this can change the perception of the parking garage. I'll come back and update this once I've received a response for my appeal. I'm confident that all will be well because, well, I did everything correctly.

This was the first time I've ever used long term parking at the airport…read more I had done some internet shopping with various parking companies. Anza was by far the most highly praised and had the most reasonable rates for a long park. Compared to Lyft/uber rides, for a two week stay, the cost was close to identical. Before arriving I made a reservation online via the website ( for some reason the app wasn't working on my phone). Use the coupon tab to get a promo code. Apparently all the codes offer the same discount. You can choose to prepay or pay at the lot. I choose to pay at the lot. Since the app wasn't working for me, I printed the reservation information. Arriving in the middle of the night at completely new long term parking seems like a daunting task. But I was completely wrong. There were no staff except for the shuttle driver. But Anza parking is meticulously organized. There were clear signs which guided you through the whole parking process step by step. The signs were perfectly positioned. In the wee hours there is no valet parking. You self park. But once you find your spot you wait for the shuttle. The shuttle driver followed me. This was a great relief. Being alone in an enormous deserted parking lot would have been unnerving. The driver assisted me with my luggage. He gave me a ticket with my parking spot recorded. Payment is expected after you return from your trip. It's a short drive from the parking to the airport about 5-8 minutes. The driver knew exactly the right terminal down to the best door to use for my airline. Once again he assisted me with my luggage. The driver was courteous throughout. Don't forget to tip the driver the way I did. A big bad on my part, which I regret deeply. On the return trip, you need to find the spot labeled "off airport parking" which is located on level two, on the central island(exit the terminal, take the crosswalk across the street) and look for the signs posted. The Anza shuttle will be clearly labeled in the front of the vehicle. The shuttle runs often. I waited for nine minutes. The shuttle runs 24 /7. The driver will collect your ticket and drive you to your parked car if you have self parked. This time I remember to tip the driver. Drive your car back to the entrance/exit. Then drive to the exit lane which is clearly marked. There will be a kiosk with a friendly staffer. You will need your quote and your ticket. I had already entered my credit card information via the website and payment was trivially easy. I recommend Anza Parking wholeheartedly.

The garage was very full and it was hard to find a spot. The few spots I did find were too narrow to squeeze my car into, seemingly every spot was marked compact and some contained giant concrete pillars for bonus difficulty points. Eventually I found a spot, retrieved my family and by some miracle we were able to navigate back to the car from the terminal without getting lost. But trying to find the exit was a different story. At first there were no signs for exit. Then I followed one that took me to the employee exit (do not enter). From there I followed different exit signs that took me to Garage G. I returned to the down ramp but the signs there pointed back in the direction I had come, inexplicably indicating exit on A1, which should have been down but the arrow pointed the other direction. 20 minutes later I got out of the garage (no thanks to the signage) after waiting in a huge line on A1and was spit out into a dizzying maze of frontage roads with equally bad signage and unexpected 90 degree turns.
