My parents moved to the independent living side of The Delaney in 2018. My dad passed away in 2020,…read moreand my mom continued living independently there until recently, when she transitioned first to assisted living and then to memory care. Throughout each stage, the staff at The Delaney took excellent care of my mom. She was at the highest level of care in assisted living, and shortly after moving to memory care, she needed hospice care. The Delaney staff who cared for her along with the hospice staff during her final week were more than caring--they made sure her needs were met while treating her with compassion, dignity, and respect. I especially want to recognize Bobbie, the med tech, who gently stroked my mom's hair after administering her medication, and Charles, who took the utmost care when assisting Mom. Those thoughtful gestures meant so much to our family. We also recently held my mom's memorial service at The Delaney, and one of the staff members, Rob Sterk, provided a Christian service for our family. That was truly a step above and beyond, and it meant so much to us. We wanted a place where our parents could age in place, and that is exactly what The Delaney provided. It gave us peace of mind knowing they were in a safe environment with engaging activities and caring support. We are grateful for the care, kindness, and respect shown to our family.

My loved one (dementia…read moreand peaceful) fell so many times, was neglected, virtually never had his diaper changed- especially when it was a bowel. "I" had to clean him, at $5900 a month. The care here is excellent and personal and catered to dementia patients. Their approach to having resident's do as many things on their own is a much better way rather that having them highly sedated ( as we saw in some other facilities). The facility is bright, welcoming and has different activities which keep the residents occupied. Some other benefits have been having a nurse/doctor who visits the facility rather than having to go outside. They are very accommodating to help work on different diet restrictions as well. Overall, can't say enough good things about all the folks here starting with Char, Jane and going through all the caregivers who help care for all the residents.

My wife needed extensive physical and occupational therapy. The Oscar's assisted living pricing was the most competitive. Their pricing is fixed for rehab and assisted living. That means no surprises at the end of each billing cycle. We have also found the management team to be superb. Jasmine Walker (Sales), Craig Lentz(Executive Chef) and Melissa Russell (Assistant Director), have provided the information and delivered on the services promised in their marketing literature. In April, 2026 we attended one of the Oscar's semi formal event for residents and their families. It was terrific. Kudos to Hannah Neuffer - Lifestyle Director and her department for the wonderful decorations and Hannah for the great entertainment with the Mark Charles Band. Chief Craig Lentz - Dining Director never fails to amaze diners with his entrees, sides and desserts. Chef Lentz provides wonderful meals throughout the day. We love The Bistro, The Poppy dining room and Jon's Bar. We have also found the daily activities offer a nice variety to help ensure residents have interesting and fun things to do during the day.
