Nothing was trying to reinvent the wheel, but everything was well prepared, satisfying, and exactly what we wanted for a relaxed rooftop gathering. The food isn't the reason to come--it's the complete experience. Naturally, we leaned into the fun. The Moscow Mule served in a take-home copper mug was an easy decision, and once we spotted the "Double Tap" special (beer, shot, commemorative cup, and T-shirt), there was no turning back. We wanted to make sure we'd remember the night long after we crossed back over the river. The staff deserves a special mention. They handled our large group--including kids--with patience, flexibility, and genuine hospitality. Everyone felt welcome, which isn't always easy with a bigger party. As a former Marine Corps infantry officer, it pains me just a little to hand a five-star review to an Army establishment... but credit where it's due. Zulu Time earned it.
