This dealership uses fake marketing methods to attract consumers to use their service. Then, they break the promise by not honoring the terms and conditions. After I contacted the service department multiple times, they ignored my request. After all, they want to lure the customer in and not fulfill the promised condition. I purchased a near new (307km) Mini Cooper SE from Ryan Ko, the assistant sales manager of Park Shore. Not pushy at all, Ryan let me ask my questions and he responded thoughtfully and thoroughly. Some salesmen may coerce and with Ryan, it was the opposite. We own a BMW X1 and recently traded in a BMW 135, and serviced these at Park Shore We have been well received and understood. Patrick in service, Daryl in parts, and "Huggee"? in driving me where I have needed to go, each has been each exemplary in kindness and always helpful. Thank you Ryan, Heather and team. I would give 0 star to service department. I have a damaged tire that a blade is in it and it's safety issue and shouldn't drive more that 80 kms based on them , but they don't have the tire in the inventory and gave me an appointment for 4 days later and they didn't provide us with a courtesy car either. It is the only car in our household and with two kids and too many pre arranged stuff for these days I'm left out without a car. read more

The Team at Park Shore BMW changed my mind about avoiding servicing an out of warranty at a dealership. I brought my first pre-owned BMW to the dealership from which I purchased it ... THAT experience caused me to research and locate an independent mechanic who specialized in German sports and my vehicles remained under their care until they sold their shop, 10 years later. That's when I decided to try the Dealership experience again and ended up at Park Shore BMW with my current vehicle. They tell you pretty much to the minute when your car will be ready and what the service will cost when you drop it off. With advance notice, they'll arrange a loaner, without notice, they'll arrange a lift. When it's ready, if you opt for a wash, you get a SUPER clean car back. Because of Park Shore BMW, the service, the cleanliness, the fair and transparent pricing, I will only get my car serviced there from now on. read more

Worst Service Department ever for a BMW dealership. I am a long time BMW owner and have my cars served in several dealership in both US and Canada. I would say Park Shore BMW has the WORST service. The reason why I am a BMW owner is partly because of their service. However, Park Shore BMW make me lost my confidence. The biggest problem is that they hardly do a good job. You always need to come back again and again to wipe their ass. Even with your safety features, they don't care if your car is safe to drive. Problem no.1 They failed to detect my caliper issue after routine service. The passage side brake caliper has issue, but they just didn't notice it. The tire shop notified me about this issue. Even they are supervised how this can be ignored during the routine check. Park Shore's solution: book me a 2 weeks away appointment and let's see what they say. I have to come back again right after my routine service. Problem no.2 Windshield washer fluid. After the first service, my windshield fluid level keeps saying low. They told me they did add the fluid. So I take the car back for the second time and they told me there is nothing wrong and they did add more windshield fluid this time. I went back home and the windshield fluid is still low. I went back for the third time, I ASK them I want to watch them to add the fluid. So they did add a whole tank of fluid into my tank. After that, my windshield fluid never run low again. It turns out they never add the windshield fluid in the first place. It's disgusting they even want to save this $5 fluid from the customer. More disgusting that they even told me maybe it's because I used too much fluid. As a 10 years driver, I at least know how much windshield fluid I use. Problem no.3 Ignore customer feedback. I received an email from they (obviously it's an auto email) saying they cares about my service experience. So, I reply back to the guy Mike Warner saying I do have some feedback and I would like to share it with them. Guess what? I never ever see their reply. Mike Warner doesn't care about their service or this guy never check his email. Other issue is that they charged you for replace your windshield wiper. It is totally free of charge for windshield wiper in the US because it's called bumper to bumper warranty. I don't know if this is a Canadian things so I won't put it to this dealership. Overall, AVOID this place!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Dealt with Ivan in service, he came across as very rude. We dropped off a very expensive vehicle with detailed instructions for new tires and oil change and any other service to be done seeing as the vehicle was being taken to a province with no bmw dealership for an extended period of time. Two weeks later Ivan chastised my father for leaving the car at the dealership for two weeks and they had not even put the tires on or anything else. Went on to rudely explain the car wasn't due for an oil change and that a bmw dealer in another province would do the oil change. I just purchased a 2018 440i coupe. I went back to Park Shore after a few years trying some other brands. Park shore by far has best sales and best service department by far. It is good to compare and have other experiences so that you know when you are dealing with a professional car dealership. No one is pushy and their is none of the usual games of going back and forth. You get a rock solid deal the very first time and it takes half the time to get the car you want. I will give kudos to Mike Regan in particular, knowledgeable, attentive and always responds to questions promptly. A pro 100%. Here's my customer service experience with Park Shore BMW. I booked a service appointment 2 weeks earlier and dropped my car at 7:00 AM Aug 21st 2018 leaving the key in the drop box as instructed with my phone number and full details. I arrived back at the dealership at 7:00 PM to pick up and the key had never left the drop box in 12 hours. The car continued to sit parked in front of the building. You might ask, "what did the dealership do to recover ?". The answer was nothing. I drove home and haven't heard from them since. Says something to me about Park Shore BMW concern for customers and general disorganization of the dealership. read more

Can't say anything about the sales department, but their service department is not that great compared to other BMW dealerships. They don't offer valet or any loaner cars at the moment. It's likely due to COVID-19, and I understand that completely, but AutoWest BMW offers BOTH. I'm supposed to drive my car to your dealership and then cab back? Then again cab there to pick my car up? If someone lived in Langley, that's easily $200 both ways. Valet makes sense if it's too far, but the loaner does not make sense (since almost all other dealerships are offering it). Again, not sure about the sales. But, I wouldn't recommend these guys for servicing. read more

What is going on with this place? I have had the Worst. Possible. Experience. To start it off gently: No loaner cars offered, departments don't speak to eachother. Friendly when they are selling you the car, dismissive anytime afterwards. The people I have spoken with here are downright rude. I have never heard someone utter the words, "That kind of thing would be wasting my time" in response to a fair question of whether or not they could check to see if my car was ready. ----- In addition, THEY SCRATCHED MY CAR WHEN I GOT IT SERVICED!!!! The whole story: Had my new car serviced because of a small sensor issue, drove 40 minutes here, called beforehand and spoke to them about needing it in 3-4 hours max. They said no problem. When I got there, I was refused a loaner car, in addition, they refused to have anyone drop/pick me up from the West End where I had an appointment. (This is weekday morning folks, it would only take 15 - 20 minutes maximum!) I hitched a ride with a stranger. Seriously. A stranger to make my appointment. At the time my car was suppose to be ready, I called beforehand to make sure everything was done. Not only was it NOT done. It took 4 phone calls during a span of 30 minutes to get any confirmation. The car was not ready. And wouldn't be for at least another hour they said. I went to the location, and finally ---- hallelujah, I *FINALLY* persuaded them to loan me a car so I could actually get on with my day. They said they'd drive the car back when they were done, and take back the loaner car. Fast Forward, 5 Hours later: Car is returned. Scratched. SCRATCHED! They actually damaged my car! What THE HECK is going on with this dealership?!? Entirely INEPT at their jobs! The Attitude / Hostility! The Unprofessionalism! ------ Bottom Line: If you cherish your time and money. So it was time to upgrade my car. We purchased from this location last fall. We were shopping around went to several BMW dealers. Other locations were great others just snubbed us (Brain Jessel). When we decided, we were at this lucky location. I forgot the name of our sales guy but he was nice (which I guess is part of being a sales guy). But one thing that annoyed me, the sales guy was only really talking to my husband, which was fine I guess because my husband did all the research he was the one more knowledgeable about car but I was buying the car. I ended up buying a 3series brand new. Overall it was a good experience making the purchase here, maintenance is included. Also I found calling other BMW location to book maintenance not as nice this location was the most friendliest, I don't live close by I was trying to see if the Burnaby location would take in and they told me it was too early to get maintenance I would have to pay, but clearly the light on my car is telling me otherwise. I called Park shore no questions ask just bring it in. When I brought my car for maintenance no charge, it was also another pleasant visit. Took a couple of hours they also offered to drop me off anywhere in North Van, I didn't need this that day but might take advantage some other time. read more

I purchased a pre-owned BMW from them and it turns out when they re-conditioned the vehicle before sale, they didn't replace the proper brake discs for the car based on model specification and instead used a lesser part, seems to me something that ought to be done right before giving the car to the customer, instead I got squeaking brakes which will be expensive to repair now after the fact. we booked a service for 11.45 for the first time as our usual dealer is booked up and since we moved this one is closer. I arrived at 11.40. I opened the door to a bunch of empty desks except one, with no clear signage that it was the service area. One guy (I find out later Ali) is sitting at a desk and he totally ignores me. After 5 minutes I ask him if I am in the service area and he says yes. A lady then asks me if I am being helped and I say no. She asks if I want Dave? and I say no. Ali then suddenly pipes up that he can help if I dont want Dave whose desk I was apparently in front of! 15 minutes later after we have gone over the 3 issues he tells me that the service guys are now at lunch until 12.30. Why book an appointment for 11.45 when they are going to lunch! He tells me he will update me at 2.00pm. There are no shops close by and no offer of a shuttle service so I wait there. At 2.30! I ask him for an update. He goes to the service dept a d comes back with what he now knows and says he will update me in an hr. At 4.15pm I get a quote for the oil leak, they don't know why the engine light is on so just reset it and can't see the heat gauge fluctuating which it has been doing regularly for days. 4.5 hrs I am there for a booked appointment on less than 2 hrs work! In addition I use the washroom and wash my hands and the tap won't come on so with soap all over I go to the men's and rinse my hands. I tell the lady who then shows me how to use it! a bit too late. They could certainly benefit from some serious customer and service improvements. read more

I bought a Certified pre owned car from them, they told me its clean car with no claims and its also on my paper work where clearly they indicated ' NO " on damages or claims over 2k on the car. The car has 5 claims on it with over $7500 dollars damage. one of the accidents has not been even fixed and thyre telling me is " polishing". went back to talk to Andrew and what he said basically was too bad you bought the car, now u gotta deal with it. The sales staff are very aloof....and will pretty much promise the world to make a sale.The problem comes when they fail to deliver. I've used P.S. for service many times while my Z4 was under factory warranty until 2009. They were courteous and professional enough. If I could 3.5 stars I would. My only turn-off was when I had to limp in with a flat tire. They charged me $700.00 for 1 tire. I'm not a fan of price gouging. Most other experiences were positive. read more

I have purchased a 750i XDrive BMW from this location on February 2015. The car was promised to be brand-new and all parts, features and accessories to be new in working condition. The odometer was reporting just over 100 kilometre and I purchased the car with the promise of warranty and after sales service. Right after I purchased a car the speedometer monitor cracked unexpectedly and I had to wait over a month to have the part fixed. On and about September 2015, the first tire of the car was bulged for no reason. I attended the location to inquire about the reason of the damage and potential service I could receive to fix the damage. I was told that tires are not under warranty and the damage might have been caused by me driving over a bump or some. The analogy was not making a lot of sense but I accepted that. BMW mentioned that they do not have the tire in stock and it will take them few days to get the tire and I decided to take the car to a tire shop on the other side if the road and change the tire there as they had the tire in stock. The cost to change the tire was about $1000 this time. less than a month after, the same issue happened. Another tire (not the one that was changed) was bulged again with no reason. I attended the dealership again and got the same explanation. Again, I had to change the tire at the Tire shop as BMW did not have the tire in stock. Few weeks after, the same issue with the third tire, non of those that were changed! This time I left the car at BMW and decided to wait until they have the tire in stock. For the first couple days I didn't have a curtesy car but the company ended up renting one for me after I complained few times. After almost a week or so I was contacted by a service rep to pick up my car and they said we both fixed your tire and the rims and it costed me another $1200. Now less than 2 months is past and the forth tire is bulged. The interesting part is that non of the tires that are changed are getting bulged. This time I attended BMW park shore on Feb 14, 2016 to complain about this matter and spoke to the manager on duty, Andrew, the Preowned Sales Manager. After I explained the issue, Andrew mentioned that he can not do anything for me as I purchased the car brand-new and I have to speak to Rob Livingstone , the New Car Sales Manager. I was provided with Rob's card and left the dealership. This morning on Feb 15, 2016, I contacted Rob to inquire about my complaint and he responded very rudely, that he has not had a chance to look into this matter yet, as he has to deal with his Monday reporting. He said he has more important things to deal with first and he will contact me in this regards after he had a chance to look into the issue. After my conversation with him, I contacted BMW Canada and filed a complaint and they said they will be contacting the dealership to follow up with the case. Despite all this, I still have not received a response or an update from the dealership although this is a tire issue and might result in serious harm and catastrophic losses. Keeping in mind that I own one of the most luxurious vehicle offered by the brand, I am extremely shocked and dissatisfied with the level of customer service I have received from the company. I have looked into the tire issue and have found out that there are a number of similar complaints submitted for the same issue and I believe they have been affected by the same problem. Aside from the product failure, I am very dissatisfied with Parkshore Motors customer service practice although I own two BMW cars both purchased from this location. read more

Positive experience dealing with Carlos Montanes . He was genuine, no pressure and overall a very pleasant person. BMW had significant rebates to clear 2018 models and he was the only dealership sales rep that was completely up front re what the rebates specifically were. All other dealerships had lower rebate numbers, with the obvious intention of trying to retain part of the program for themselves. Additionally, we lost a personal item into a small gap in the console of our trade in, that we couldn't get to. Carlos made arrangements with the service dept to remove the console and recover the item. Was appreciated. read more

Just moved back from Toronto after 10 years and wasn't going to ship the old car out here. Winters back east are murder on the cars. Have spent a lot of time looking at various dealerships and sure wasted my time with this one. Just because I'm not dressed to the nines doesn't mean I can't afford a BMW. Took forever for someone to talk to me. As for negotiation, there was none. I was told "have enough demand so we don't need to negotiate". What a load of crap! Give me $500 off and make me feel like I got something (and offset the discount by adding some hidden charges somewhere else), and you have a sale. So you would expect that when you buy a new car from an authorized BMW dealership, you won't have any problems right-well at least in the near future? Its been 5 months and the defective BMW 5 series they have sold us is a textbook lemon. We have been in 5 times for service in the past 5 months. 3 times we had to be towed in cause our NEW car won't start. I don't know what we paid for??? Service department and the general managers don't communicate at all. They basically refuse to admit the car has major issues and that its more than a minor problem that can be fixed. I don't feel safe driving my new car and yet I continue to pay a hefty lease monthly. This dealership is not at all concerned for their overall customer satisfaction and more importantly their reputation. Poor service, poor customer appreciation. Very disappointing. read more

Generally had a good experience in past dealings with Park Shore and I am a relatively easy going customer so I am hoping this does not come across as a rant but rather an experience that I had that I tried to help Parkshore with but rather I received lip service. And at the end of the day I just don't think they got it. The last experience was an epic fail, so as others have said do your homework before you shop. On Feb 6, I ordered a part from Parkshore which they said would take 2 weeks to arrive. No problem. Having not received a call in over two weeks since my order and payment for said part, I decided to call them. At which point I was informed that they would need to look into it and a couple minutes later was informed that the part order was rejected by their parts order system. So they had to re-input the part number. And me, the customer, would need to wait another two weeks. Now you think they would understand the limitations of their information system in not making one aware of a part being rejected and put in place a manual process to check daily so that this experience did not happen again. So two weeks went by and no call to me, the customer (previously a Promotor in Net Promotor Score / Customer Sat speak). So I called them once again and surprise, surprise, after 10 minutes of investigation was informed that the part order was rejected once again (likely the same day that it was input for all I know) and of course, no manual process to cover the technology limitations. So now a little frustrated (a few hundred $ invested, 6-7 weeks into the process and a couple of frustrating experiences with their "customer forward/service friendly business"), I was told that they called the part in and with certainty it would be there the following Tuesday, May 1 (another 4 business days). I came in two days later on May 2 (of course on my own as I did not receive a call). So with this experience they finally met my expectation. I showed up and was informed that the part was not in! I met with the parts department manager, Chris, and explained the situation (again). Its not the dollars, its the customer experience. The reputation of BMW is not just the car, its also about the customer experience. Problems can happen with many things I understand but its how you handle the customer experience and manage their expectations. Knowing that your parts order technology had significant limitations, one needed to put in place a manual process short of replacing the technology so as to not repeat the the same terrible experience for the customer. And if the part has not arrived, and even if you have been doing 'countless work and hours behind the scenes to figure out what the issue was that was causing the problem', do what's right for the business and call the customer to make them aware of the situation and how you are handling it. It may not be what they want to hear but at least you are proactively contacting them to deal with the matter head on rather than waiting for the customer to connect and be surprised /disappointed them self. You think they would get it. I finally got the part on May 6, three months after I had ordered it. Chris indicated he understood the issues and would have the Parkshore GM contact me directly (I was not looking for any $$ compensation, I just needed to share my thoughts to the person who could make the changes that would lead to a better customer experience)....that was on May 6....I am still waiting for the call. Do I need to reach out to them directly again? Needless to say I think my days with Parkshore BMW are behind me. read more
