I must say I am disappointed. I have been a loyal customer for 10 years, but the service has been going down hill. I booked a tire change appointment online a month ago. Today, while I was teaching and unable to answer my phone, I received a voicemail informing me that my appointment could no longer be honoured and and they wanted me to come in earlier, which was impossible. When I arrived the originally scheduled time, I was met with visible frustration from the service advisor. He told me that weekend appointments were no longer available, and that I should plan to come before work. While he initially said they could uber me to work, he quickly withdrew it when I explained my schedule and work location. In the end, they did the tire change, but I felt like they were no longer interested in servicing my car. Why was I allowed to book the appointment, and hold it for a month if it was not a possible appointment? read more

I've been taking my car, twice a year, to Pacific Honda, for maintenance and repairs for over 6 years now and I couldn't be more pleased with the service and professionalism. My car, despite the high mileage due to my work, is still in top condition. I find the team to be very efficient, friendly, and helpful. I always get clear explanations on what is recommended and never something unnecessary was recommended. I'm usually helped by Victor and he gets above and beyond to be helpful, which I truly appreciate. My experience being this positive is the reason that I choose drive more than 50kms one way to get it serviced at Pacific Honda, where I purchased my car from in 2018. read more

We have had 5 Hondas (CRV, Odessey, Pilot and 2 Ridgelines. This will be our last time with this Honda. The service department has gone downhill and we do not trust their service department. There is always extra charges but the last straw was a recent service where the Ridgeline was studdering. We dropped it off on Thursday April 4 and was told they could not get to it until April 6 which did not happen. They were then closed April 7 and 8 . Called again on April 8 with no reply. We were told it would be $190 diagnostic charge. April 12 we were told it needed a new transmission $7300 . We had it towed out of there on April 16 to a transmission place (but it was completely driveable as they drove it to the air pump to fill up a tire) Cost of that visit over $800 The transmission place took it out checked it over and found nothing wrong with it. And no charge for looking it over. read more

I had the best sales experience possible and then some. I just bought a Honda CR-v 2020 3 days ago - my dream car - impeccable interior and exterior, lots of bells and whistles. Way more car than I've ever experienced - was driving a toyota echo 2006 that got the ICBC write-off. The sales people were genuine people - and first class human beings in my book (believe me, I've been around the block a few times and with 76 years of human interaction under my belt, these guys scored as high as a person could). When I went to celebrate drinking coffee and playing cards with my best half for a couple of hours, the car would not start when we left. In panic, I phoned Pouya Gazi, sales, and better believe the unbelievable, he drove from his home in Vancouver to the parking lot at Park & Tilford. Before long there were 3 sales peeps from PC including the Sales Manager, Goran Zubac and another young salesman, Aaron Schoenenberger who was there for his expertise - anyway, I had flattened the battery when I shut it off improperly. It's mind-blowing. they came to help me at about 9pm on a Friday night and for Payu it was his day off. They were so sweet and kind plus got the car going. Did not talk down to me, instead plus plus supportive, humorous and kind. I cannot recommend this dealership too highly. And a shout-out to Peter Woodhouse, whom I met on a prior visit, looking at another vehicle, also so knowledgeable and a genuinely stellar person. What more can I say? These guys made my day, even more than buying the car, were their attitudes and behaviours - I can't describe it all here, but Peter and Pouya both got water for my senior dog! that's a small example of their overall quality of being. And I haven't even mentioned Leo Deng in financial services. Helped me over some of the financial hurdles with humor and grace. Also the young woman who helped me with getting the car licensed and more! I will highly recommend this dealership to anyone listening. read more

Tried to book an appointment for a "1A" service, basically an oil change and tire rotation, I was told they were booking appointments after May 17. That is a month from now! Ridiculous! if there was a zero, I would give it a Zero star. Beware, any person who wants to purchase a honda at this north shore dealership. The sales staff is excellent, everything is a YES. Once, you have purchased a brand new vehicle with a comprehensive bumper to bumper insurance, everything is a NO. The don't do shuttle service, they don't do courtesy cars, they don't clean our car after any service, big or small. They make you wait very very long even if you have a scheduled appointment and the biggest thing is they are VERY VERY RUDE. And to top it of whatever was promised to you by the sales and the finance guys when you purchased a brand new vehicle is apparently NOT TRUE. the service department said sorry this is not covered as per your policy. CUSTOMERS BEWARE. The service manager DAVID as well is VERY VERY RUDE. So if you think you can complain up the ladder. FORGET IT. It is so frustrating for me that I am looking to sell my car to another dealership (NOT HONDA and buy a different car all together. My husband owns a lexus and we have had amazing service thru out. The salesperson assured us the vehicle will take a month to arrive. When the vehicle arrived at the outlet, the branch manager said the vehicle now belongs to him, he can sell it to whoever he wants. This vehicle was sold to a person that could provide a trade-in, therefor this manager could make more money, we wanted to purchase this vehicle cash. Right from the start the service offered by the "team" did not extend beyond the salesperson...who was helpful. I bought four tires from these guys for my vehicle and scheduled an appointment to have them installed. They told me on the phone that it would take two hours and I should be able to beat the rush hour traffic home. I brought the vehicle in and they said they would try for two hours but couldn't promise. It's now four hours and the job is still not done. I can't even see it in the shop. This is the second time they have suckered me with with this approach. The last time it was a routine service that took two hours longer than promised. Perhaps they overbook appointments just in case some don't show up? I won't be back again but it bothers me that these guys don't seem to say what they mean or mean what they say. Car was there for one day , when I went to pick up on March 19 -2020  , Noticed few scratches on the body , immediately showed it to the  staff,  they took some photos  and told  they will get back to me...they never did  !  next day after several attempt I  was able to connect to  the manager David kantymir , he said his employee did not do anything other than servicing !! so the scratch was already there ! he was trying to say I wiped off the dirt  around it  and some finger prints nearby so he can't tell if it happen from their place !! HOW RIDICULOUS !! . I did not move the car an inch from the service centre , and notified the staff immediately after noticing it . If the scratch was already there  before I drop off the vehicle they never bothered to let me know about this . !  the car was with them for one full day   , they never bothered to  tell me or call me or  check with me if  I aware of any scratches on the body ! and NOW claiming its not their fault !!  I would never do the servicing at this place again !  I wish I should have read their reviews before ! We had a great buying experience when we purchased the 2014 Honda CR-V Ex-l but at the time of purchase, we received a copy of the checklist of everything with the car since it was a used CR-V. at the time this car passed on everything. However, we are not even 1 month in problems with the car is starting to show up. 1. tire low-pressure light came on after 2 days with the car and after checking the tire pressure everything was at recommended levels. 2. a sweet smell like syrup has now started to come from the right front side of the CRV. at the time of purchase it showed that everything passed the test. I have booked an appointment to have these problems checked out because my last car buying experience certainly didn't have me running back to the dealership one month after purchase. read more

There car has no options whatsoever and I was going from a 2012 to a 2009 and they were selling their car for $6900 which had the only option Rat Pooh . Crooks , scammers . You can't even buy a lawn mower for $500 . The car we were buying had 2 accidents and when we opened the hood their car it had rat poop all over engine area and sales guy named Jackie stated he would wash that . Run and don't deal with these morons and to boot the sales manager stated if we wanted to talk about his offer , I later sold my fiat 500 for $3,000 ! Since I wrote this review , they replied on my review stating to call so they can go over trade in evaluation ? Is this a joke ? I never did call so I am posting here . Update (the dealership has now phoned and offered me a courtesy car as it's for a recall, looks like I should find a better place to go for our vehicle maintenance as I do not need to be stranded for hours with kids 60km from home) I have two recalls due on my one year old Honda Odyssey. As I have to drive an hour to the dealership with my two small children, I might as well add the three services recommended for an extra $330 at the same time. The staff at pacific Honda will only provide a shuttle for my children and I during this four hour service time and only in a limited part of town. When I asked if I could get a courtesy car the service lady told me to book with a different dealership. Their neighbour dealership Mazda have always provided my Family with a car so that we can not be stranded for hours at one location with our car seats. Really wishing we bought with a dealership that takes better care of their customers. Don't go to pacific Honda if you want helpful service. read more

Very slow service. Oil change & pre-purchase inspection... They had the car from 1pm - 5pm. I sat for 4 hours. The car did not move from the parking lot until after 4pm. It was after 5pm when the car was ready. There were a couple cheap items that needed work; for example, the nut that drains the oil was worn round. The service manager went over these with me. I asked if he had replaced the nut. No, they hadn't. I asked what it would have cost. Four dollars. I asked if it could be replaced now. No, there was no time and that would mean draining the oil. I asked how I could get it fixed. He said to bring the car back... and leave it all day... All day to change a nut. Brilliant. read more

He was knowledgeable about the vehicle, and was eager and patient to find the answers to our numerous questions for us. He was honest, and we did not felt pushed towards buying a certain car. I would definitely recommend coming here (and speaking to Alex) if you're looking for a Honda. The only side note is that this particular dealership has a "policy" where they say they offer the lowest price, so they don't negotiate prices at all. I was looking for a used commuter car to get me to and from work. Mori came out let me check out several and helped me select the right car. Once I chose one that I liked (a Nissan Versa Note), he walked me through the process and got me all signed up. When I picked up the car, the next day, I noticed there was a bit of an issue with how it was driving. OH NO! :( I texted Mori and he said that he would get me an appointment for Nissan to look at it. It is SO nice that Nissan and Honda have that relationship, no cost to me, confirmed it was the CVT transmission. This meant that it had to be replaced... bummer! But luckily it was still under Nissan's warranty and they would replace it no charge. Guess what? I was leaving in 3 weeks for a work trip in Portland, Oregon... and Nissan wouldn't have a loaner vehicle available before I left. I texted Mori and he said he would look into it (even on his day off!), as I felt that I would like to get the transmission swapped out BEFORE my trip. I booked the appointment before my trip anyways as I thought I would need to make it happen regardless. Mori messaged me the day before, he said that Honda would cover the cost of a rental vehicle. WOW! In short, Mori was really helpful, and I really appreciate the relationship that Honda and Nissan have to work together. While it took a lot of back and forth, Honda made it right. Due to a move I had to break my lease early on my beautiful 2013 Honda Civic and I tried everything. Advertising it on various sites, talking to friends, calls from dealers but nothing followed through. I happened to call Honda Pacific to check on their transfer fee in case I found someone who would take over my lease. By chance Harley Redfern Lease Manager returned my call. He couldn't have been more helpful. He made some suggestions to consider. I felt like I might have plan B which soon turned into Plan A. Today I said goodbye to my perfect Honda - sad but Harley made this transition the most pleasant it could be and got me the best price. I couldn't have done better and was pleasantly surprised when he showed me the numbers. I have kept my Honda in mint condition with low mileage. He made my experience such a pleasure in spite of my sad mood. I even met his beautiful dog Chopper. I would refer Harley to anyone looking for a Honda and if you're not you should be! We recently purchased a new vehicle at this dealer. For the most part the experience was wonderful. The good 1) we went in a few times to the dealership and got EXCELLENT service from the Bryan and Brian. It was refreshing that two car salesmen worked together so well for us to get the deal done. We ended up getting a refund from Honda (sale thing) and Brian even drove across the cheque across town to drop off at my work because we were going out of town the next day! 2) the dealership manager was excellent. He was polite courteous and congratulated us a few times on our new Honda. He evaluated and gave us a fair value for our trade in and a super good price on the new car. 3) jas the insurance broker was super nice, efficient and good at processing the transfer, he even helped us with the cdi insurance info 4) Keith who showed us the car and all the functions was great, very knowledgeable and nice. Understanding that this was a big purchase for us and treated it as such. 5) We bought close to the end of the month, just make sure you confirm with your salesman that if you buy any promotions in the subsequent month will be applied to your purchase if they are better. For us this meant we got an extra $1k + tax refund after the deal closed! The bad 1) I expect to be grilled to buy the extended warranty. I just didn't appreciate the approach. The sales pitch came across as patronizing and a bit dishonest (noone turns down the extended warranty...riiiight!). 2) Our thankyou card consisted of a $1 scratch & win....I think just the card would've made a better impression. Anyways mostly a great experience, the one or two "bads" prevented 5 stars, but would definitely go back to pacific Honda next time I'm in the market for another car. Then I took my Honda fit in for a routine oil change. They overfilled it badly. It was smoking and couldn't be driven. I went to get a new key as the plastic handle and fob broke off from the metal teeth. The fob fell out and was lost but I had an extra key with fob though it too was broken. Now my car was made in the US, maybe that's why, but they couldnt create a new fob, they couldn't get the codes, but they still charged me $195.00 including taxes! Personally, I would not charge if I couldn't provide what someone had paid for. They could have inserted my old fob and put batteries in it, that would have worked! What they gave me in exchange for my 195.00 was just teeth and that makes it a hassle to open the trunk and passenger door etc. Like I said, in my work, I would never provide such poor quality service. Best new car buying experience I have ever had.... Honda Fit 2015 EX Lets start this by saying I am a detail oriented person who doesn't buy anything until I know more about it than the person selling it to me, and as I am in corporate sales myself I don't like 'being sold to'. I walked into the dealership in the spring when I heard about the new Fit and wasn't surprised to hear that the sales guys didn't know anything about it or even wanted to talk about it as they wanted to sell me what they had on the forecourt. However by accident I bumped into Harley Redfern the Lease Manager and told him I wanted a low pressure buying experience and to be informed when they knew anything about the 2015 model now being built in Mexico. Rather than try and persuade me to take an existing model he played the long game, took my details and said he would get back to me. Over the next few months I was in regular communication with him when he heard anything about the release or when I called him to tell him something I had heard about the US release (earlier than Canada) or issues that I had heard of in early production models, In September after I had test driven one in WA state (they were not yet available in Canada) and was pretty convinced this was what I wanted to buy he managed to get me a test drive in one of the only demonstrators in BC; he called me and let me know he had this on his forecourt and that I should come down for a look. In Oct I decided on either a grey or blue model and so he put my name on TWO models coming in with first refusal on each. He even gave me the dates that they were rolling off the production line and when they were arriving - even kept updating me with updates on the date. I asked him to make sure the dealership left on all the delivery 'plastic' as I would like to remove that and make sure the paintwork was perfect as I am a little OCD where my car is concerned. So, after rejecting the grey model after seeing it, my blue one arrived and he even put it under a canvas cover with a big notice for NO ONE to touch it - how's that for service - seriously !!! I didn't want anyone else sitting in it let alone test driving it. After it arrived it was there for 2 weeks as my schedule was awful and they didn't pester me to come see it nor make a decision on it. When I arrived we went for a short drive (my decision, we could have gone further) and Harley just let me 'be me' and inspect the car for all the 'known issues' that had been seen on early models (coming out of a new factory in Mexico). Thankfully it looks like Honda execs have sorted out the quality issues and the late arrival of cars in Canada (compared to the US) is actually a benefit for us Canucks. So, I paid the deposit and arranged to come back 3 days later to organize finance and deal with my trade in. The whole experience was excellent from seeing Harley to bargaining with the finance office to the on-site insurance with the ICBC agent. The delivery manager also knew I was being very particular with the vehicle and let me take my time and when I was ready to drive off I just sat and smiled. So this is just my experience, 'your mileage' may vary. If you want a recommendation go see Harley Redfern he won't guide you wrong... As a Pacific Honda client for close to 30 years, I would rate its service 5-Star. The one star is taken off for one particular Service Consultant "Tommy Zhang" for over 3 negative experience (i.e., consistently "bad") spanning over a period of time. Apparently, "Tommy" harbors some race-based preferential (if you are the "right" group members and prejudicial (if you are certain minority group member) attitude based on his somehow twisted mindset. Incident (1) I came in for regular service and approach "Tommy" for some technical question of a minor problem. His response was reluctant and quickly gave me a flippant (one sentence) reply. This was just the "appetizer" for the "main course" to come. Incident (2) I came in for a regular service appointment and my turn came and got to face "Tommy." Nothing untoward until courtesy shuttle pick up arrangement. According to Tommy in the morning, my car should be ready at 3pm. Came 3pm no news on my car and I phoned Tommy he said he would call me back. Then came 5pm (no call from Tommy and when I called he said too busy at the dealership). No further information for pick from Tommy until when I reached him at around 6:30pm he said finally that shuttle will come. To my huge surprise, the shuttle driver told me I was his last customer for the day - it turned out when I paid at the cashier I was indeed the very last of that "evening." I have strong circumstantial evidence to believe "Tommy" consciously or subconsciously treated me as least-favored customer and gave me lowest priority in service. Reasons (a) I sent in my car early for just minor routine scheduled service. I did notice long line of cars came in for service after me. It would be odd that my car would be serviced last. (b) Tommy personally escort his second last customer of that day to his car leaving me wondering in the almost vacant large reception area to pay the bill. Incident (3) I came in to pick up some service records. That was not busy hours and long line of service consultants were sitting talking to clients except Tommy and his immediate neighbour were sitting idle (i.e., not attending to any customer). As I approached Tommy's desk he consciously avoided eye contact with me while his "neighbour" service consultant was gracious enough to ask me whether I needed help.
