This review has been years coming and im finally getting to it. But If you want to waste your time and thousands of dollars and also hate your teeth after, go to Dr.Nathan for your braces. Not only did i pay for my treatment, in full upfront, i wasted 3 years of my life, as one or Dr.Nathans ortho patients. Majority of my visits were nothing but getting a bag of rubber bands, because he never made adjustments, tightened, or changed the wire. I had a bracket fall off, he waited at least two visits,to replace it. He waited 4 visits before changing my rubber bands the first time and he only did, because i had to question him about them. He got annoyed or bothered anytime i questioned my progress, because nothing was being done. I cried to the staff in the office about it and spoke with my dentist, Dr.Sterling (who referred me to him btw) and i complained about his lack of service and treatment. She told me she would speak to him, which she did and that probably was the worst thing, i could have had her do. After that he constantly brought that encounter up, he would tell the Dental Assistant that 'i told Dr.Sperling on him' while im in the dental chair for my visit; It was clear that it bothered him, that i said something. i was uncomfortable and just couldnt wait to not see him again. I should have known something was off, when at the first consult he told me, tigthening them was an 'old fashioned' way of braces. Little did i know, he meant, not at all. After my braces were taken off, i knew right away they seemed funny, my top teeth were still sticking out a lot, because my bottom teeth were on a slant. And he left glue on 5 of my teeth. (Said if he missed anything, it can come off on my next visit) How does a seasoned ortho miss this? I feel as if, he retaliated against me after making my complaint, by doing the absolute bare minimum of a job. After my follow up visit a month after my braces were off, i expressed to the DA Ashley that i was unhappy with my teeth, she advised Dr.Nathan, who was clearly annoyed by that. He advised me to put my braces back on it would be an additional cost and that i would have to get my 4 canines pulled, to make room for my teeth to move back more. He even showed me pictures of another patient, he allegedly had to pull 4 canines from. I was furious that after 3 years, this is the first time hes mentioning possible extractions. He told me to make another appointment and to make an 'educated decision' on what i wanted to do next. I knew right there i would never let him look in my mouth again. I asked for my medical records. Because i knew i would have to go somewhere else for the results i wanted. I found it interesting that he wrote in my chart that 'Pt was very disgruntled', trying to make it seem like i gave him issues, because i was clearly unhappy with his shitty job. 5,000 later, a new ortho and another two years of my life, i finally got the results i excepted to have the first time! All without having to pull any teeth out. Dr.Nathan is a crook and i hope for others sake, he is no longer at Park South Dental. This is all facts written here.
