After seeing some of the other places to stay in Eureka Springs, I am so glad I booked this. Being out of town and away from the noise is a HUGE plus for staying here. Perfect for couples who want to be alone and stay in comfort! The owners are friendly, knowledgeable about the area, available if you need anything but are behind the scenes and not noticeable. This is the only place I would suggest staying after seeing the other options in town!

The staff does need to improve their communication, we were supposed to get an email beforehand, and did not. I called them several times. They finally responded, saying it was a server issue. I get that, but an immediate phone call back would have been appreciated.

The week we stayed was very rainy so we didn't spend too much time on the porch but honestly everything was so cozy inside with huge views so we felt like it was perfect anyway. The grill is also right next to the cabin. It's so cute and comfortable, we love it here. The owners are super friendly and so kind. This is typically and 14+ only property and she graciously allowed us to bring our kids (9 and 10), because it was the slower season. We got in late and she even offered to make my kids an extra bed! It was literally 10 feet away from us! We also went in the newly constructed cabins which were cutely decorated just like our cabin. The lake is smaller so it's easy to take a morning and evening stroll around it to get your daily dose of nature. Our cottage was clean, comfortable, and adorable. I'd even say luxurious!! The pictures on their website aren't overselling-- it's really that perfect! We stayed in a pet friendly cottage (Gingerwood) with our two dogs, but you couldn't tell at all that it was "pet friendly" like a lot of other places (no bad smells or stains). The amenities were fantastic, too- the kitchen is well stocked and the bathroom was nicer than the bathroom in my house! Ha! The location is really close enough to town (Eureka Springs) that you can drive in for food and activities, but it's secluded enough to be away from all the traffic and noise. It was a truly perfect getaway and we plan on going back for an anniversary someday. The price was extremely reasonable, and their online reservation system was easy to use. On our last day there, Faryl (the cottage keeper who lives on-site and is very friendly) even texted us and invited us to come witness the birth of their new baby alpaca! It was such a cool experience and we were impressed that she had the presence of mind to invite the guests while she was serving as a midwife for the alpaca mama! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

They are so great to everybody who stays there and we have been there several times and they have done guest appreciation nights and provided pizza and other snacks for everybody staying at the resort. They have paddle boards and kayaks you can use as well for free. They really cater to their guests and make sure that it is an excellent time for the whole family!

It is now 3:08, we are sitting outside our room in the sun (on a motorcycle with lots of luggage), and are told it won't be for another 45 minutes. No apology, just refunded a cleaning fee of $20 measly bucks...Gee, thanks. I would rather you have been nice about the mistake or better yet have had the room cleaned to begin with. I don't recommend this place whatsoever and will never stay here again. Update: Cleaning kids came around 3:20 (so we got our room around 3:45). They were apologetic and very nice. I really wanted to give another star for this because they at least tried (they made a swan out towels lol) harder than the other staff. BUT when we returned to our room after dinner we came back to a kitchen counter of ants. I really expected more out of this place based on the reviews. Disappointed, to say the least.
