They had a plan for us to make it work and even provided us with a golf cart to and from parking. I was there on a cold early season weekend, so didn't use all amenities, but they look to be well kept. Facilities are clean, they have great Weber kettel grills, a full kitchen, pots pans, blender, toaster, etc. (Clean what you use) They even gave us ice out of their personal refrigerator for bourbon! They have a boat ramp and slips. Outside power for battery charging. 15 mins from Long Creek Marina. Mill Creek Resort is a great choice of lodging at Table Rock Lake.

I was surprised at just how amazing the trail was. It wasn't your typical circle trail around a flat field. It was through the woods, up hill, down hill. The guides were extremely good at taking care of us amateurs. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway at a very reasonable price. And even though the word "suite " is in the name, my room was not a "suite", but it was plenty big enough. Also, it is a MOtel, (with the doors in the front part of the building right along the parking lot and facing the street), not a HOtel with an indoor corridor. I was not expecting this, but it was fine. It has its good points. There was a refrigerator and a microwave, big TV, a good bed with lots of pillows, a decent-sized bathroom, fast Internet and lots of lights that actually worked. The room smelled good and was clean, had cool furnishings. I was on the upper floor in the back, and below me was a nice large wooden deck where you could hang out, if you so desired, and stare at the woods and enjoy the bird song. As with any older place, there were several quirks/imperfections, like small holes in the wall where a rack was moved, some of the tiles in my bathroom floor creaked when I walked on certain spots, my curtain to the outside world was a little gappy (duct tape is a wonderful thing) and one panel had been installed upside down, you use an actual key to get in your room, and if you want ice, the manager has to get it for you. None of these quirks/imperfections were overwhelming, just numerous. It is also a smaller place, so a person is not in the office 24-7, their board said 9 AM to 8 PM, although someone is always available by phone. I got good customer service while I was there. I suggest you ask for a room on the back of the building, as they face some nice woods, and the traffic noise is very minimal - I could feel rather than hear when a big truck went by, which was only a few times. One of the bigger points for me to stay here was that this place is outside the main hubbub of Eureka Springs, as I was just passing through town and was not interested in the touristy part of town. Brydan's Suites was an OK place overall, and the price was right, so there you go!

For our entrees, I ordered a delicious pasta dish with shrimp and red peppers and my husband got the filet with bleu cheese. Both dishes were excellent and really hit the spot. For dessert we ordered the peanut butter pie and the carrot cake. They were both slightly too sweet, but were very good. The resort is located on shared land so it's not private. We were interested in the Moriah which offers an amazing view but it's literally located right off the dirt road. Your guests would be parking and sitting down within 50 feet of their cars. If you book a package with a cabin, make sure the cabin isn't for sale. Plus they only ever had cabin 6 or the "house" open. The roads leading up to the cabins are treacherous. They mention how easy it is to cancel for "whatever" reason necessary but don't explain it's not a full refund. Visit the place before booking.

We recently stayed in one of the suites at Sugar Creek Resort. There are also cabins. The vibe was…read morerustic and private, and the view of Beaver Lake from our deck was spectacular. It's a little secluded, which we really liked. You do have to drive a little to get to some of the more touristy areas, but we knew that, and we thought it was nice. It was lovely being away from the more trafficked areas at night and sitting on the deck looking at the stars. We were there for four nights, and our check-in was completely remote and easy. We received detailed instructions via email, including where to find the key. It was very private, which was perfect. The rooms are not cleaned during your stay, unless you call and request it, but that is all explained in the provided instructions. There was a phone number where we could call if we wanted fresh towels or anything else, but we were fine using the same ones, so we didn't need to call for anything. This is important because, while there is an office, it was always locked and we never saw anyone there. You have to call if you need anything. The photos on the website look gorgeous, but they also look like they might have been taken a long time ago. The place could do with a little updating, but it was clean. The bathroom is tiny - just barely big enough for a sink, toilet, and shower, but no tub. If you want a bath, you have to use the jacuzzi in the middle of the living room/kitchen/bedroom (kind of awkward placement, to be honest). Our only maintenance issues were minor. The blinds on the front window were broken, so we just left them closed while we were there. Also, the toilet stopped flushing after our first day. The chain inside the tank broke, so we just had to take the lid off and flush it manually. We could have called them to fix these things while we were there, but we didn't want to take a chance on them coming at an inconvenient time, so we just left a note when we left.
