Derek and Chris cleaned and prepped everything thoroughly, then selected the correct paint for the job. They worked tirelessly making sure the job was done to the highest of standards. They were wonderful with suggestions when asked about colors, knew exactly how to apply the paint to our many different surfaces, and, when done, went back to touch up and clean up. I came home from work and found my house exactly as it was prior to them showing up with the exception of a better looking exterior! I found this really helpful and recommend it to anyone. Pam was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about how paint looks completely different depending on the light. Again, highly recommended for anyone. Dave and Ross painted, and I don't think they could have done a better job. They are artisans with a LOT of expertise who made my condo look brand new. They are everything you want in a painter. They showed up on time EVERY day, cleaned up after themselves, and were polite and professional. They respected the work hours set by my HOA. Ross even fixed my running toilet (at no charge), which I really appreciated. Before the painting, I had some old baseboard heaters replaced with wall heaters. As a result there were some areas with holes, old paint color, etc. Dave and Ross cleaned all that up. The wall heaters look great, and you can't tell there used to be baseboard heaters. They also fixed a ton of issues I had with my trim. The flooring company who installed it didn't do a great job of joining separate pieces. Painting America took the time to fix all the joins and make it look like a single solid piece. I took bids from 3 other companies besides Painting America, before I went with them. They were one of the higher bids, but they are well worth the money. I am so pleased with the results, and when I need painting in the future I won't look elsewhere. All of the above before they even scheduled me for an estimate. I have since had other contractors with equally fabulous reviews on yelp come over, give me estimates and get me on the schedule for this year.

I contacted him and he cane out and gave me a verbal quote. I agreed and told him I was having floors replaced so I would need to have that completed first. He said if He did that part he could give me a price break, unfortunately his price was higher than the flooring company that I was using. So we set the date for after the floors were completed. Along the way i reached out regarding trim work and replacing doors to which he rarely answered the phone and preferred text. I would ask when he could start and his responses were hit and miss. Finally when we set a date, I reached out the day before and asked about items I was purchasing, and then asked him to send a final invoice (which he did not seem to want to provide) and when i gave him all the prices we discussed he mentioned an additional $500 or so for the paint. Now keep in mind when we initially discussed this project he said the price would only increase if I chose a color other than white. And he was giving me the price because it was because he would use the same color and sheen for the walls and baseboard. He decided in the end that he wanted more money and since he does not provide written estimates without repeatedly asking, he was able to change his price. Being that tine was running out I asked if he would honor his price and told him to cancel one item on the list because this was going to put me over budget. I asked if he would honor his original price, and from there he stopped responding. The next morning I called to see what the plans were since I had to schedule time off to have someone there for them, he did not respond to texts or my last call. In the end, I am fortunate I was able to experience this before the project started since it could've become very stressful. I do not recommend any company that does not provide written quotes and will change prices on a whim. Not to mention one that stops responding to a client that they've scheduled a job with.

We got three bids for a three color paint job. Two of the bus were close the third unrealistic. We chose Morans based on their professionalism, detailed bid and the recommendations of a builder and a color specialist both of which we know and trust. The project was no small undertaking, it is a large two story house with a large separate garage and covered walkway. The overhangs are a full time three feet. Morans completed the project on time and within budget; the work is exceptional in quality and attention to detail. The crews were professional, courteous and cleaned up the site at the end of each day. We could not be more pleased! We will be having Morans ack to paint the entire interior this fall.

My biggest issue is…read morethat they got paint on so many other things: the natural wood trim, windows, window screens, doors, door knobs, etc. I spent several days after they left wiping up the stray paint before it dried. They also broke a wall sconce while trying to remove it. While it was an understandable accident and I'm not angry, I am annoyed that they pretended it was already broken. The service feels overpriced for all this.
