No "added charges" after the work was done. The painting is top tier. A big thank you to Brad, Sean(sp?), Joe, and Dan! Pros: An attention to detail from Brad's first walk around to Dan's finishing touches left me both impressed and relieved to have chosen them to paint our house. It's the sum of all the little things about Ren-O-Paint that add up to greatness here. The quality of the painting for the price is an exceptional bargain in my opinion. Brad (the owner) was communicative and responsive to our many questions from the moment he responded to my voice mail. He made time the same day I left him a message to come out and take a look at our house. His quote followed shortly thereafter and we never looked back. The Ren-O-Paint crew likewise were always ready to answer questions we had. Brad would check in with us every day the crew was there to ask if we had any questions. They did what they said they were going to do: Show up at a certain time on a certain date. Dan made suggestions on certain portions of the house based on his experience that turned out to be an excellent fit for us. There was never a time we felt that we couldn't ask about something we had a question about. Cons: Absolutely none. Reno-O-Paint did a good job painting the interior of our house in December 2019. We gave them the job with the condition that they would also paint our house's exterior with a projected start date of September 2020. I started reaching out to them and finally got a projected start date of late Sept. 2020 at the end of July, 2020. As we got into the middle and late August, I tried to reach out to them again to get a firmer start date. After numerous attempts by me they finally responded in the second week of September that they would not be able to follow through with the late September start date. I was told they could do the job next Spring! They stated that due to CoVid they had laid off half their work force! I understand that CoVid has created huge effects in our personal lives and economy. However, I noticed that other companies are responding and continuing to take on work. Ren-O-Paint's decision and late communication with me forced me to immediately search and find a company willing to take on my house painting. Fortunately, I was able to succeed finding someone and will get my house painted when I wanted it done and not to Ren-O-Paint's schedule. I regret having to give this negative review of Ren-O-Paint not keeping their commitments, but so it is! Despite the crisis, other companies are able to make commitments and keep them! read more

My experience with Ren-O-Paint started off kind of rocky. There was some kind of miscommunication between them and me and the job started about 3 months after we originally scheduled (they were booked by the time we figured it out). I was out of town for 2 of those months, so it wasn't such a big deal. When it came time for painting their guys showed up late in the afternoon for prep and worked several hours taping things off. Then they left. On the second day they came and painted and at first everything looked great, except for the paint that was spilled on my window and screen. I called Brad and he had them come wipe it down, but the screen was basically ruined. It's now several months after the fact and I'm just seeing that they spilled white paint on the black roof (had to go out to clean those gutters). Not only that, but they painted over spider webs and dirt, which means they never pressure washed anything, although they did sand off some of the chipping paint. As I looked closer I noticed that some spots didn't get painted very well, so there is still some orange where it should be white (inconveniently right next to the window where you can see it). The areas that you can see up close look good and overall I'm satisfied with the job, I just wish they would have been more careful with spilling paint and would have taken the time to pressure wash the eaves before painting over the spiders. read more

Not only was he very reasonable with his pricing, he was an absolute pleasure to work with all the way through. From the beginning to the end, he was onsite everyday making sure all the detail was perfected. We had a sort of unique painting scheme and weren't sure how it was going to turn out, he was able to make it come alive and we are so very happy with the final result! Ren-O-Paint finished painting the entire interior of my Lake Stevens home about 6 weeks ago. They did a pretty good job. However, there was several things that needed to be gone back over, including a couple missed areas in the kitchen. Brad (the owner), said they would come back out the week after and never showed. Since then he has not responded to texts, calls and an email. I recommend finding another painting contractor. read more

Brad and his team did a great job! We had a short window to get the job done (before our furniture arrived) and brad was very nice about squeezing us in. The previous colors in some of the rooms were neon bright and one room even had a wall of chalkboard paint, but you can't tell anymore. WARNING TO ALL!!!! If you are looking to get a bid, to have some painting done. What ever you do, take our word for it and save yourself the trouble and call someone else. My husband had filled out a form on(6/20/17) on-line to get a bid and a couple days went by and had left a message on Brad the boss's cell because we never received call back and I thought, I would try to call one more time and finally Brad answered on 6/22/17. I explained, that we never heard back from anyone and wanted to know why. Brad said, Matt's the guy who does the bids give him a call, so my husband did, Matt said he was doing a bid and would call us back after 3:00 P.M. we never received a call from Matt at all. Food for thought: Matt's number should be listed not Brads, as Matt does the bids. I now was frustrated and called Brad on 6/23/17 to ask is this how you guys do business and he stated no, that it must just slipped Matts mind. We talked some more and I thought we worked out the rough areas and Matt had given me a call right then and took my information and I made appointment with Matt to come by on 6/27/17 And yes, you GUESSED it right. Great job for a very reasonable price. We needed an exterior repaint after having all siding replaced. Needless to say, painting exteriors in western Washington in January presents multiple challenges. Brad was more than willing to accept the challenge, and took the job head on. RenopaintNW did some exterior work and I was impressed with the quality of work and the excellent clean up they did. They are prompt in returning calls, letting you know if there is any schedule change and show up on time. They will be returning in a week or so to paint front door & paint front concrete stairs with "grit" paint. They are professional, polite and neat looking.
