I worked with Josh, and he was pleasant from our first interaction on the phone through the end of our transaction. I told him what was wrong with my machine and what it was worth to me to fix it. He gave me a call the next morning to let me know the repair would cost more than a new machine. Fair enough. When I came in to pay him for his time, he asked if I were military, first responder, or a teacher so he could give me a discount. Mighty generous. When I asked if he knew anybody who could recycle my old machine, he explained that this place has a charity where they used old technology to train young people how to build and repair computers for future jobs. Pretty nifty. I also saw him interact with another, older customer (I'd guess in her late 60s). He explained to her how to work her machine in very down-to-earth details, and she was clearly very satisfied. So this place is the real deal. They care about their customers; they explain options; they charge very reasonable and fair rates; they don't give any surprises. I know where I'm going the next time I have any issues with a circuitboard technology.

We reached out to the company and spoke to Kevin about three weeks prior to our move. He confirmed the date and time, and even followed up the day before. He stated that based on what we had, it would take about 4-5 hours, everything would be shrink-wrapped with blankets, and it included transportation. By his initial communication with us, his moving company seemed promising. However, the day of the move is when it took a turn for the worst. They were scheduled to arrive at 12 p.m., but it was 12:20 p.m., and they had not arrived. We decided to give him a call to see his estimated time of arrival. He stated he had arrived, but couldn't get in the gate. We provided him with our gate code, but he was still having issues getting in. We decided to meet him at the gate and let him in. To our surprise, he was alone, but informed us that his original partner had to call out due to a family emergency and he had called another person for backup. However, the backup wouldn't arrive for another hour or so, so I began to get nervous. Kevin stated he would start prepping and wrapping some things while he waited on his backup. His backup finally arrived around 1:15 p.m., and that's when he started the clock. When I saw his backup, he looked young and a little inexperienced. While the exposure was probably great for the young man, we didn't think this was the best job for him to assist with. We tried not to be in the way, so I opted to sit outside. However, the times I did go inside, I witnessed the backup either bumping and scuffing up the walls, dragging cords, or being fussed at by Kevin. I was a nervous wreck to say the least. As time went by, it was noticeable that there were quite a few items that still needed to be shrink-wrapped and packed. Around 4:30 p.m., my husband asked him how much longer it would take, and he stated about 45 minutes. Well, 45 minutes went by and the job still wasn't completed. It was now 6:00 p.m. and he had also run out of shrink wrap. My husband offered to go get him some more, and he would reimburse him. Although they had run out of shrink wrap, they still continued to pack the truck. Once my husband returned, they had just about completed loading the truck. At 7:00 p.m., they had finally finished packing everything they could, but some items did not make it on the truck. We headed to the storage unit. They took a short break, so we waited on them to arrive. Once they arrived, they began unloading the truck. He also called a third person to assist with unloading the truck. At this time, some items still weren't shrink-wrapped, so my husband had to keep asking for various items to be wrapped. He did wrap them, but I felt that should have been done without asking. At 9:30 p.m., they were finally done unloading everything, but they were coming back to the house to pick up the remaining items. As time went by, they still hadn't arrived, so my husband reached out to see where they were located. Kevin stated he had to switch trucks, but at this time, we decided it was too late and that it would be best to be done for the night. It was nice that he offered to come pick up the rest of the items, but a 4-hour job turned into a 9-hour job, made for an extremely long day. Due to the series of unfortunate events, we cannot recommend this company.

I noticed Sunday that the package had not been picked up, it didn't have any scans from FedEx. So, Monday April 7th around 9:00 am shortly after Mail Central was open, I went in to ask Troy (the store owner) why my package had not been picked up. She said I must have dropped off later than I thought, I said I know I dropped the package off around 11:00 am. Then she went on to blame FedEx for not picking it up. As the store owner she took no accountability for the package not getting shipped nor did she offer any ideas on how she would fix the error to make sure it would not happen again. I left the package with her hoping Friday was a fluke and that she would make sure my package would be picked up on Monday afternoon at their normal FedEx pick up time. Monday came and went with no FedEx scan on the tracking. So, on Tuesday April 8th I went in to Mail Central again to see what had happened. Troy was not at the store, so I talked to the employee on duty. She stated that all the FedEx packages were picked up. I said that I wanted to looked to see if my package had been picked up. It was absolutely clear that FedEx did not pick up again. I took my package, made a new label and took it to the UPS store. With Troy knowing me and my husband since 2018 when we began dropping of packages at Mail Central, I expected more customer service from her. I expressed to her the urgency I had in needing to get this package shipped, because on eBay you only have a couple of days to get it shipped. I feel like she at the very least should have called me (my phone number was on the shipping label). I feel like she has no urgency to fix what was happening with FedEx or to service her customers.
