We are new to school uniforms , we need ONE item for her to begin school in less than a week. Grab & go, no fitting or trying on required. This store is 15 miles away from my house & I made a trip up here, on the way to somewhere else we have to be in less than an hour. When we walk in, I notice at least 20 different parties waiting. I'm approached by an employee with a tablet, he is wanting to add me to the "queue" . To shop? To buy one item that I can see just over the counter? I was told they have to service each customer in order, no matter what they need to purchase. I'm staring right at the tie I need to buy ... 45 minute wait to be able to purchase & leave. WHAT ?? If I could give this business a zero star rating, I would. Sadly, I was not even the one who received the horrible experience, but I feel like I was because my wife recounted EVERY SINGLE visit she had with this business. I guess when you are the only game in town, you feel you have the right to treat your customers like they actually owe YOU. So, here is the abridged version of my wife's experience: My daughter is a bit small in stature. Not even on the growth charts for her age at this point. Because of this, they went to the store to be sized. Being frugally minded, we used the opportunity to be properly sized and use that info to check with the local uniform exchange for her school. Naturally, we struck out and headed to the store to purchase new uniforms for my daughter only to be informed that they don't actually sell that size for her school nor could they get it for her. Never mind the fact that they knew where she was attending when she was sized and also knew that they did not sell that size... After much BS, uniforms were acquired. Now, as you all know, there are several other components to these uniforms, so we purchased them at this store. My wife used cash in case there was a need for a return to make things quicker and easier. Well, as you would guess, a return needed to be made as uniform requirements changed and she found some other items through the exchange. When she went to the store, waited in line for close to an hour, she was informed that she would not receive her refund. In fact, she would have to wait 10-14 days for a money order to be sent to her. Now, this may have been a policy when people still actually used checks, but this is cash. Guaranteed funds... Yet, she is expected to wait. When my wife questioned this policy, she was met with a gruff and exasperated attitude. She was informed that that is just the way it is. She further informed the lady at the store that there is no posted policy or any such indication on her receipt. The response? "I know its not on there. But that is just the way it is." I'm sorry, but that policy is beyond unnecessary. Cash should be returned immediately. Here is a fun policy change to consider: Since you want us to wait 14 days for a refund for cash, how about we hold the merchandise until the refund is received. OR, how about all customers have the option to wait 10-14 days to pay for what they took out of your store? Long story, short? Customer service is non-existent here. Businesses today thrive on the thank you economy. An economy I am an expert at. Now, this is not a niche I really care about, but I am a highly motivated and aggressive entrepreneur, and we joked about opening our own store after our first visit there. I even had some co-workers make the same comment to me... Well, guess what. You wont be the only game in town for long. You upset my wife... You might as well have come into my house and crapped on my floor while I was trying to watch ANW. Get ready... I don't compete in business. I dominate. read more

What a horribly ran store! Parker, you're new system for handling customers S-U-C-K-S!!!! You would think that when a business is selling $5 shirts for $35 that they would want to process as many customers as possible. Instead customers are made to wait 45+ minutes just to tell a clerk what they need/want. What is after waiting all that time Parker doesn't have your item? This year I have decide to hand draw my kids school logo on their shirts. 12 moths later and this place is still one of the worst stores in OKC. Check-in, says 47 minutes so I take the kids to lunch. 10 minutes later it says they're ready for me. Poor service combined with a rude staff. If we weren't forced to buy from this place my guess is they would go under like the Titanic. read more

I don't even want to give them one star. I've been using them for 17 yrs and two different kids and 3 different private OKC schools. The staff is pleasant and friendly though. This year was a doozy. I have 1 kiddo left , a senior at McGuinness. I needed a polo shirt. The seniors get to wear black this year. I go to the store and I'm told I must wait until the next day to be helped. They put is in line on line , and text me the next day to go up there. I couldn't Bc I was stuck at work. I go on line and order the shirts 2 weeks before school started, thinking that would be long enough to get here. Then was told after I ordered it's 15-25 business days for delivery . What the hell. So I get back in the virtual line to go get a shirt. I waited at work for over 2 hours being update on my wait via text message . When it got to 14 min I headed up there.I drive all the way up there, wait and additional 20 min . It's a 15 min drive. Once I get up to the counter to get assistance, I'm told they don't have a shirt in his size! You can't just walk in and buy something , not even a small hair bow. You must wait 45 min to 3 hours! Horrible way to treat people. Now my kid gets to start his senior year with no shirt! Sure I should have started earlier, sure I should have planned better. But I have Never had that issue before! They should know the trends and what they need in large quantities..Thank goodness it's his last year! Advice: get your kids uniforms 6/8 week before school starts. read more

Very Poorly made. Expect your buttons to fall off the crotches getting holes after a couple of washes. Not happy with my experience having to deal with them. It's ridiculous to make an appointment and still having to wait to get service. You can't just stop in for one item even if you do know the size you need. The only reason I even waist my money and time at this store is because our school has a contract with them. If you don't have to purchase your uniforms here, don't!!! read more

If I could give less than one star I would. It should be so simple to order your child's uniform and Parker makes it extremely difficult and stressful. The customer service is atrocious. Each time I try to call I wait for 25-45 minutes, on hold. My order has been missing, then suddenly is found and although it was supposed to be shipped, was held at the store, then, it went missing again. This is crazy! Worst experience ever! My son has no uniform to wear on the first day of school NEXT WEEK and I ordered his uniform in plenty of time. I'm very upset with this entire experience. read more

Terrible customer service. You cannot call without being on hold for 30-45 minutes and going into the store is a nightmare. Purchasing uniforms should be a very easy process but every year it seems to become more difficult. read more

Terribly incompetent people work at this store. We went in to buy my daughter's uniforms. Pretty simple. We knew exactly what we wanted-any skorts/skirts in any color with an elastic waistband and a sweater vest size child M. The employee spent 30 minutes in the back searching and came out with one pair of shorts and one skirt that have a button waist...exactly what we didn't ask for...and it took her 30 minutes to find it! And the sweater vest-she brought out a S, M, and L, so I thought at least one of these would work....no-they were ALL adult sizes, after I had asked for a child's medium. An hour and a half later and 3 people trying to help us get what we needed, we finally left with a couple of items. I'm not sure how their items are stocked in the back, but the employees can't find anything, and it's so frustrating. read more

Horrible!!! I bought 3 shirts for my daughter that came up to $56.91. I purchased them with my credit card which they manually put it in at the school. When I looked at my bank statement I noticed that I was charged $74.87. The company took it upon themselves to change the amount that was on my receipt and had I not had my receipt they would had gotten away with it. I am in the process of trying to retrieve the rest of my money they owe me but I'm constantly on hold. Why in the world would you change the amount that was on my receipt Parker School Uniform? Just answer the phone and give me back my money!!! What if I wouldn't had enough money in my account due to your error? Would you have paid my overdraft... I don't think so!!! read more

This store is beyond lack of understanding and an example of why Amazon so easily exceeds today. Customer service is terrible and they are not friendly. Considering the prices they charge in order for the owners to relax in their Escalade you would expect better service. I wish schools would allow French Toast to do the logos and I could escape this terrible store. read more

My frustration with this store is the fact that you wait and wait, they call your name and then do not have your item. They do not care or offer to order your item. When school administrator contacts store they say they will order and should arrive in couple of days. Go back to pick up order and then was told they do not order things. Finally get someone to check for me and come back with - we ordered them but will not be in for one to two weeks. The staff is not concerned, even when they are told that the item needed must be worn on 1st day of school. No apology, no desire to help and make their service better. Worst uniform store I have ever been to! No customer service. I went there twice to try to buy my kids' uniforms, and they told me I had to make an "appointment for a wait time", even though there were only 3 customers in the store. Two of them were already checking out! read more

Wow - how can a company like this survive in America??? We ordered uniforms in late June thinking it was early enough for late Aug school start. We HAD to order from them because they were the designated vendor for our school. By early Aug, still no delivery. We called 3 times (each time being on hold for up to an hour), and each time they said the order will be on its way soon. Finally, the 4th time we call, they told us to stop pestering them and that they were VERY busy with the season and for us to visit a local store instead. When we asked to speak to a supervisor, agent in Indiana told us they don't do that: "we don't have supervisors for customers to speak with". And of course they don't record calls for quality control. Then hung up on us. Save yourself the stress and headache and ask your school to select a vendor who cares; if they're not the designated vendor, run from this company as fast as possible!!! read more

I have purchased uniforms for my kids here for years. This year I ordered from another company but forgot to order shorts for my youngest (oops). I decided to run in to Parker's on my lunch hour to grab two pairs of shorts. I knew exactly what sizes I needed and did not bring my son to try anything on. When I came in, the store was empty except for one family trying things on. Even so, I was told there was a two hour wait and they could add me to the list and call me when it was my turn. When I pointed out that there was no one in the store except one family and that there were two ladies at the counter staring at the wall with nothing to do, I was told they were waiting on customers they had called for their turn who hadn't arrived yet. WHAT?? It made absolutely no sense to turn away a customer who was there for people who would be arriving eventually, especially when it would have taken only a few minute to grab the shorts I needed. I ended up just ordering the shorts through the same company I ordered everything else from and will get them before the end of the week. I'm so glad our school gives us a few companies to choose from - I never have to go back to this store again! read more

How does this company stay in business? Over 10 days after I ordered I still don't have my son's shirts and school starts Monday. After a 45 minute wait via phone with corporate customer service (I use the term service very loosely) I was told that they don't know when my shirts will be shipped but I could go to my local store and see if they would fulfill the order. I made my appointment with the OKC store via their Q system, went with my receipt and was told they really couldn't help me because their internet is down and they can't check my order status. I explained the call with customer service and told her what was said about my order and showed my receipt. It was snatched from my hand, she went and grabbed six shirts and basically threw them at me. Never an "I'm sorry" or "how can we help?" It is unfortunate that so many schools offer Parker as the only option. I will be glad when the day comes that I don't have to support this company. read more

Let me start by saying that if you find yourself reading these reviews, we need to find an alternative uniform source for charter/private schools in the Oklahoma City metro area. It seems that a number of schools use this vendor and no one is happy with them. I am actively looking for alternatives to suggest to our charter school. I ordered through the website and after two months+, I am "hoping" to receive the other half of my order. I called the website's customer support department numerous times and most of the time I resigned myself to hanging up after waiting on hold indefinitely. The couple of times I actually did get through I was told "up to three more weeks" - an answer I heard again after the initial three weeks had passed. The last time I called (after both previous promises of no more than three weeks had expired), it went to a voicemail. I can only speculate based on the reviews I have read and my personal experience, but I suspect that they had so many unhappy clients that they stopped answering calls. It took them the better part of a week to call back and leave a message saying that they were finally shipping the remainder of my order. I have yet to receive it, so let's hope it actually arrives. read more
