The place closed in week. We never got word back from Dante in sales with a toyhauler build for this month. All social media, youtube and their website were gone inside 5 days. I emailed Dante and Julie directly but still go silence. I called the Ford and Dodge dealerships next door and they will let me know this week what they find out. VERY VERY lucky this happened before the build since this type of behavior shows more about them then their trailer builds. We investigated they had a court case for copyright infringement with another trailer company which just ended a few months back. Guess now we have to scramble to find another place to build this trailer for our Alaska trip in spring. read more

The trailer has less than average finish, screws missing from interior, hatch door wouldn't shut and had to have some grinding to make the latch opening wider, the floor to the trailer also has several random holes drilled in it and not filled with silicone (you can look through them and see the ground). If I hadn't driven over 1000 miles to get the trailer, I would have passed. The finish work on the trailer can be repaired, but my biggest problem is no service after the sale. I called and texted several times trying to get info, but it appears that once they make the sale, they don't have time to follow it up and answer simple questions. Looking to buy an 6x12 off road trailer, It seems clear to me now that colorado Trailers is overwhelmed with orders, or bogged down with Covid related parts and shipping delays?! I have been trying frequently, almost daily to contact them by email text and phone calls, but have not made contact with anyone in several weeks to even months!! the reviews are not promising, same related problems with the RV trailer industry in general?! the only positive comments are several years old! I am somewhat glad I could not make contact I would most likely be giving a negative comment after purchase?! Colorado Trailers - Trailer Dealers Near Me - Castle Rock, Colorado

I am a return customer looking to trade in my 2016 cargo trailer and last week I decided that I am just going to keep the older trailer and have an interest in a larger size trailer. I bought a 7x14 foot V nose with the black out package manufactured by cargo craft. When buying this trailer in 2016 no one told me that it actually measures on the inside 12 feet in the rectangular area and only the nose to the ramp closed is 14 foot. If I would have known that I would have looked for another brand of trailer or go with a cargo craft with no V nose, because if you get the non v nose Im assuming you get the actually correct inside measurement. So from my understanding in order to get the 14 foot rectangular part in their v nose manufactured by cargo craft you have to get the 16 foot or in order to get a 16 foot rectangle on the inside you have to buy the 18 footer. I reached out to Cargo craft and they state they have have been using these measurements since 1990. I feel you should get what you pay for. From my understanding there are other manufactures that don't include the v nose as part of the the dimensions of the trailer so the v nose is icing on the cake. You shouldn't have to buy a 16 footer to get a 14 footer. So I spoke to Julie and let her know I was bummed about the measurements and she said she would do her best to help me out and give me a good deal on another trailer. I did let her know I know its not her fault that its a manufacturing issue. She said she knows and it is frustrating on those measurements. She sounded truly concerned. Julie was great to talk to on the phone. I feel her and I had good report because she addressed my concerns. She sounds like a trusting and reliable person you can count on. Our conversation took place on Tuesday the 23rd I mentioned that I sent her an email just this last weekend and she said she did not receive it, which is understandable because it does happen using yahoo. She did send me an email to respond and I cut and pasted my last email and sent it to her. I have not heard from her since. I understand she is a pretty busy person doing videos and I get it. I left her a message several times to call back and have not received a call back since last Tuesday when we spoke. All calls I made I spoke to someone and I don't know if she got my messages. My first message was to let her know if she got my email so we can talk about the two stock numbers I listed in the email. My second message was to call me back and the last call I made Friday April 26th ken answered and he said she was not available. When I called I asked for Julie and ken asked for my first name and last name. Ken said she was not in and can take a message. I asked ken...do you know if she is getting my messages because I have been trying to get ahold of her since Tuesday. He then said you can deal with me how can I help. Right off the bat I feel he took a tone with me. When I was trying to bring him up to speed where me and Julie left off from so he can help me out, he cut me off and right away starting saying....If you are talking about a trailer you bought 3 years ago you should have said something back then. He never gave me room to talk and let him know that I am a return customer and I was pretty bummed about the sizing of the trailer. He kept talking over me not giving me a chance to talk raising his voice at me. He said he can help but did not make the effort. When trying to work with him he told me "YOU GOT ABOUT 30 SECONDS BEFORE I HANG UP ON YOU!" "I HAVE ALREADY SPENT TOO MUCH TIME ON THIS CALL!" I was just trying to bring him up to speed with the conversation I had with Julie. He was too impatient. I am going to say a prayer for you ken and I hope you have a better day. We purchased a CargoCraft enclosed trailer from Colorado Trailers Inc. in Castle Rock, CO. They were friendly and helpful in selling us a trailer, but be advised, if you have any issues after your new purchase their customer service is TERRIBLE. They make commitments but don't follow through, they do not return phone calls and they informed us that they were done with us so we should contact CargoCraft directly and then they hang up on us!! read more

Eric took the time to listen and suggested a trailer that met my needs. There was no sale pressure or upsells, just exactly what I was looking for. He even offered suggestions on how to secure my payload that I hadn't even considered. I felt the service went above and beyond what was required. They could have just sold me a trailer and sent me on my way, but instead took the time to understand what I really needed and made suggestions that actually saved me money in the end. read more

These guys will tell you anything to make a sell. We purchased one 6X10 trailer a few months ago and we thought we got a great deal as far as price. The problem was that they told us they would try to install a splicing door on the trailer for us "if they have time." If they didn't have time they were going to at least order the door for us so that we can install it ourselves. These are custom doors and we haven't been able to find anyone that makes them for the price that was quoted to us by Colorado Trailers. We called a few weeks after the trailer was purchased to see if they had received the door they ordered and if they could do the install. The guy that answered the phone was rude in general, but said "I pretty much told you we weren't going to do the install" and I said okay well we still need the door. He said he would call the guy to see if the door was ready for pickup and get back with me. Guess what? Never got back with me, so after that date I tried to call up there every 2 weeks to see where this door was. The last time we called, we spoke with a female and told her the date we purchased the trailer and the situation with the door, and that we really needed it as soon as possible. Keep in mind we are a small business and purchased this trailer and ordered the door at time of purchase in pursuit of profit. She said "Sir, someone will contact you about this TODAY." Guess what? No call back. Needless to say we had to purchase a doggy door to suit our needs after over 2 months of no progress with Colorado Trailers. This was not the image that we wanted to portray to our clients, and we regret doing business with Colorado Trailers. Colorado Trailers is bad for business, we even told them we needed at least 2 to 3 more trailers with the exact same setup. At the time of sale, this was all obtainable and they had never been happier to work with us. it's also notable to mention we are a cash paying customer. Needless to say if you are looking to buy a trailer at a good price then you would be okay to go here. If you are looking to establish a business relationship and buy multiple trailers, then you would be better off going through someone that knows how to maintain those types of relationships, and earn repeat business. We will never use them again, nor recommend them to our clients. Be weary of these guys, especially if you don't want to feel sour after your purchase. As of today 08/03/2017 we have never received a call back from Colorado Trailers in regards to our original agreement not being fulfilled. read more
