I cannot recommend this vet enough to anyone in the area. I recently got the privilege to become a cat dad to a lovely tabby. It was my first time being a cat parent, and I was so nervous that I wasn't ready. The care this staff and the doctors provided lifted that stress right off. This happened in early February, and it has taken me months to write this review because I was so devastated by what happened. Losing my cat was incredibly painful, and it took time before I could put this experience into words. [[HIGHLIGHT]]First, I'd like to say that the front desk staff was always kind and courteous.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, my experience with the veterinary care was the complete opposite. I brought my 6-year-old cat in three times over the course of three weeks for an inflamed toe bean. Each visit resulted in a full exam charge, yet no diagnostic testing was performed beyond scheduling an X-ray, which only confirmed the inflammation and did not identify the underlying cause. The veterinarian was aware that my cat had lost a significant amount of weight, wasn't eating, wasn't drinking, and wasn't playing anymore--yet she did not perform any blood analysis or adjust her care plan to include this. After my third visit, the veterinarian gave my cat a steroid injection and sent her home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]At that appointment, the veterinarian asked me to call her on Tuesday with an update, and she said if the inflammation had not improved or had worsened, she would see my cat the following day. When I called on that Tuesday, my cat's condition had worsened significantly. Instead of keeping her promise, I was told the earliest appointment would be the following week.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That was incredibly frustrating. I actually posted a review about this experience a week ago, but it was deleted on google. I feel it's important to share what happened. After that call, I immediately took my cat to an emergency animal hospital. With a simple blood test, they diagnosed her with terminal cancer that had manifested in her toe bean--a condition the emergency veterinarian explained, while rare, is known in cats. I was also told she likely had no more than 30 days to live. Our pets are family, and every day matters when they are seriously ill. Looking back, I feel my concerns were dismissed, the warning signs were all ignored, and the proper diagnostics were never pursued. I also found the veterinarian to be dismissive and lacking compassion during an incredibly difficult time. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic for sick animals, especially cats. I sincerely hope no one else has to endure the heartbreak my cat and I went through. read more

The vet practice is incompetent. I brought my healthy cat here for a routine dental cleaning. She is now in Stage 4 acute kidney failure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I took her to a different vet to be treated because I had no confidence in Parker and Parker wouldn't provide the vet records from the dental cleaning to the treating vet or myself.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The records were needed so that the treating vets could make the best possible decisions for treatment. With kidney failure in cats, every hour is crucial but the people at Parker couldn't be bothered. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vet never called me after finding out my cat could die from the visit at their clinic and the receptionist expressed no care whatsoever.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their office is outdated and run down too. If you care about your pets, take them to a different vet. read more

Simply Fantastic. We have several cats and have not great experiences with several other vets in town. Parker is nothing short of phenomenal. Compassionate, practical, supportive, and very professional. Our daughter recently had a very difficult decision to make with her dog and her vet literally berated her for even considering putting him to sleep and instead pushed her to spend thousands on a very speculative treatment. We suggested Parker and they were extremely supportive - helped her make the best decision possible (after considering all the options) for her and her dog. Cannot recommend Parker higher. read more

This is where I take my dog Buddy to be groomed. Buddy is a high maintenance special case doggie. He has seizures and needs special care. The people here love to see him come in for haircuts. He loves going to be groomed here. They are pleasant and friendly. Buddy likes the 2 huge cats that are permanent residents there. I just had to put my dog of 12 years down after being cared for by Parker Vet, and having them care for our dog was a blessing. Our pet had lots of health issues. Drs. Murray and White take their time with your pet, they explain everything to you about what is going on, they are smart and wise, and they follow up with phone calls to see how your pet is doing. They are both Board certified- not many general vets in Charlotte were when I was looking for a vet; credentials matter more than marketing to me. Their offices won't win any interior decorating awards :), but if you want top notch care by a thorough and engaged vet and staff, this is where you should go. They are so attentive in their care and follow up. read more

This is where we take our dog Manny for all his special needs,grooming,checkups,etc.....I want the world to know this is an awesome vet. I kindly refer everyone i know that has pets due to fact that Dr.White and Dr.Murray take time to identify the problems if there are any and they tackle the task. There office is very clean and pet friendly environment. They follow up with friendly reminders/ phone calls to check on your pet.
