PLEASE BEWARE!!!!! I will start by saying it is too bad I have to give one star to this vet clinic, because under our circumstances they deserve a big "0". Please read on as a caution for your beloved fur babies protection. On 4-19-2023 I took my precious 17 month old French bulldog to this clinic for surgery. Dr. Bart Bryan performed his surgery. "Oliver" had a soft palate resection, rhinoplasty (nares opened) and a neuter. He also received a 3 year rabies vaccination. I picked my baby up around 4:30pm that afternoon, post surgery, and thought all was well. He lived only 6 DAYS thereafter. He was found unresponsive and not breathing in his crate the morning of 4-25-23. We cannot fathom why Oliver passed so unexpectedly. Dr. Bryan, who was not technically in the office on 4-25-23, waited to call us until the following day on 4-26-23 offering only his condolences. First off, this vet should have made time to pick up the phone on his day off and call us right away. His office staff surely told him what had happened. His delay in contacting us was extremely unprofessional because we wanted answers. We were beyond horrified to find our precious Oliver gone and absolutely heartbroken as you can imagine. So when we finally spoke with Dr. Bryan on 4-26-23 he was surprised we lost Oliver because we was doing so well. He got thru the surgery fine and post surgery (6 days) he did great too. I was setting my alarm so I wouldn't miss giving him his meds every 12hrs. They had Oliver on 4 meds post. We trusted this vet to perform surgery on our baby. We also know the risks but he didn't show any signs. We were charged for Oliver's office exam prior to surgery $280.60. Gladly paid it. We were charged $1124.79 for Oliver's surgery. Gladly paid it. Unfortunately we have no idea why we lost our little boy so suddenly but we feel strongly that he would be with us today had we not taken him in for surgery here. He was not an emergency patient at the time he had all this done and makes absolutely no sense. So we paid $1405.39 in total and we were NOT offered any restitution, even the office visit exam prior. If this was my practice, I would completely offer something to the grieving family because this vet was the last one to touch our little guy and we can't help but think his procedure somehow led to his death. So, I'm putting this out there for justice for our sweet Oliver. We are huge animal lovers and this has left us broken. NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH ANY VET I'VE USED IN PAST SURGERIES AND I'VE HAD 3 FRENCH BULLDOGS AND 2 CHOW CHOWS SO I KNOW THE RISKS WITH PUSHED IN FACE BABIES. Do your research. I thought we had. Oliver is the white baby in the pics. His half brother is Walter. Needless to say, Walter is beyond sad, depressed and lost without his best friend....they were bonded and ALWAYS together.

I am so appreciative of the amazing care my dog has received both from the vet and from the groomer affiliated with IVC! My dog has anxiety related reactivity and can be aggressive towards strangers. It was amazing that I could text upon my arrival to ensure the lobby was clear of other dogs. The meds that my pup was started on also seem to really be helping! Thank you so so much!

I moved to Charlotte /Matthews area about 5 months ago and this veterinary clinic has saved my life! It took me about two other vet appts elsewhere to realize this was going to be "My VET" (lol). Dr.Michelle & Dr. Bart are the BEST! They are both very Thorough and knowledgeable when it comes to diagnosing, treating, and taking care of your animals. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and super gentle while delivering EXCELLENT customer service - they make it look easy :). You can feel the good energy soon as you walk into the doors... everyone has a pleasant face and looks happy to be there. That's another must you need when going to your vet. I hate to see people working with bad attitudes while trying to help me. We all know how much anxiety & stress comes over us when our fur-children need care outside of our control... this clinic takes that worry away. While I could rant all day - I will simply end it with saying take your fur-babies to this vet you won't leave disappointed. Also, if you ever meet some of their special techs give them a big thank you! They go above and beyond with keeping you in the loop and doing follow-up calls to check on your baby by their "name" and not just "your pet". I want to thank Emily for always being kind and pleasant to work with. I look forward to chatting with her each time. I'll Recommend IVC a thousand times - especially to all my bulldog Parents! Sincerely, A Bulldog Dad.

This vet office is as good as it gets. Compassionate care. Efficient staff. Clean space. Dr. Long has been tending to Zoomer for 15 Years and we wouldn't have it any other way. Two thumbs up. Arf arf.

Dr. Bart & Anna took such great care of my baby during his knee surgery!! I will forever bring my fosters/rescues here from Greensboro!!

He's a doodle and had some matting and she was able to shave just where he was matted and leave everything else fairly long (like I asked). Typically when I pick him up from other groomers, he is completely shaved from being matted but not here. He is so soft and fluffy. I also love that they are a stay and play!! So you can drop your dog off at any point, and pick them up at any point during business hours. No late fees, no extra charges!!! I love this- I always hate planning my day around when my dog is going to be ready at other groomers. It seemed like the dogs were just wandering around the grooming area and there was a little area for strictly playing, but it's not like they take them to a separate room or outside, but I still love how they socialize and aren't caged!! It was pricy- at other groomers I have paid $80-$90 for a groom and here it was $105, but that also includes getting to play and socialize for as long as you need, so I think it's worth it!! I will note, they charge a 4% credit card fee if you use one. But they don't if you Venmo or pay cash. We will definitely be back!

I was told he would be ready in 4 hours. I called after 4 hours and they said they were starting him then. After 6 hours he was ready for pick up and then they told me it cost $120!!! I could tell my dog was stressed and he was shaking. I would like to say that the groomer was amazing. She came out and talked to me about what I wanted before dropping him off and called me when he was ready and was so sweet. I think the management is over booking things. If I dropped my dog off at 10am and he isn't ready until 4pm that is ridiculous. I will not be going back .

I was sad to leave them but knew my pup needed an excellent groomer in our area. I looked up a few places online, looked up Yelp reviews, and even sent a quote request. My research led me to Bubbly Paws. When we arrived on our first visit, I was impressed by the facility's cleanliness and the owner's warmth. They give you progress updates throughout the groom and reach out to you 30 minutes before the groom's end so you can make your way for pick-up. This was huge for me as my dog is a free roamer, and I like to minimize the time he spends crated as he gets anxious. The nice thing is that at the end of the appointment, you get to converse with the groomer directly, and they talk to you about how things went and give any tips. Corie is a WONDERFUL groomer with keen attention to detail. I remember our first groom; she was critical of her work on his ears. They looked perfect, and I was so impressed with the groom and how adorable he looked I couldn't tell what she was worried about. But I appreciated her being critical of her work and wanting to improve. I can tell that my dog loves spending time with her and always seems at ease on pick-up. The one warning I will give has more to do with corporate Bubbly Paws instead of the local store. They have a strict late policy in place. If you are more than 10 minutes late and haven't called, you will be charged the FULL amount of the groom and have to pay for another session. If something comes up, let them know ASAP to avoid this. If you have a large dog that you cannot bathe in the sink or your tub, they have self-service grooming stations that are always clean and equipped with products to help you keep your pup clean.

Absolutely Horrible Experience. Do Not Take Your Dog Here!…read more We took our puppy to Modern Pet Salon for the first time because we heard they use scissors instead of clippers, which we thought would be gentler. It turned out to be a terrible mistake. We specifically asked them multiple times not to cut too much of her hair, especially since she doesn't like it, but they insisted she had too many tangles and needed a full trim. Not only did they ignore our request, but they cut our puppy twice, both on her ears--areas where there was no tangled hair at all. They even called us during the appointment to say she was bleeding. Later, they claimed it was because she had an ear hematoma and that they had just trimmed it. That was a complete lie. We took her to the vet, who confirmed that the injury was a fresh cut from grooming and not from any medical condition. She did not have a hematoma. They hurt her, and then tried to cover it up. They also asked us to use an old sock to cover the wound, which felt incredibly unprofessional and careless. Since then, our puppy has been extremely uncomfortable. She keeps shaking her head, clearly bothered by her ears, and she has been very sad and withdrawn. This is the first and only time something like this has ever happened to her. I'm beyond disappointed. Not only should they have never charged us for this awful experience, but they should not be handling dogs, especially sensitive breeds like doodles, if they can't do so safely and honestly. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Please protect your pet and take them somewhere else.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating our special request for early pickup. Everything was fine for that visit. The second visit was from a Saturday through Tuesday. We were a little leary of letting our dog join the playtime because we were concerned about large dogs being mixed in with the smaller dogs. But we let them include her in the regular playtimes. When we checked on the cameras, our dog either sat by the attendant or over by a wall away from the other dogs. I don't think she enjoyed the playtime at all. There was one larger dog on camera that looked like it was sort of bullying the other smaller dogs & the attendant did nothing that we could see to correct that situation. After we got her back home, she seemed out of sorts & very skittish for several days. She also had some potty issues after getting back home, and we think she may have gotten slightly dehydrated while she was there.
