BUYER BEWARE‼ Mike was VERY responsive when I called for a quote, after recommendations by neighbors. Mike showed up on time, provided a quote, took my 50% deposit, that was on March 28. I was told it would be 4 weeks out for the glass to arrive. Since then I have called, text and emailed Mike with NO responses. Mike has IGNORED ALL my communications and refuse to refund my deposit. I have filled a complaint with BBB, where Parker Windows & Screen has a F grade. I realize I should have done more research. AVOID!!! Mike NEVER refunded $4000 --after supposedly ordering windows which never came in... and canceled all appts to put them in. He refunded $3000 of the $7000...NEVER apologized ... Do not use this company. Same experience as many here. Kept rescheduling a simple window glass repair, which would have taken about 30 minutes. Only time they actually showed up they had glass that was wrong from the manufacturer. After that constant rescheduling. Got tired of waiting after close to two months, and found another vendor. We ordered windows in July 2021. Since November 2021 there is a long line of excuses and no windows. I have asked for my deposit back. Mike apologized, and promised to deliver the refund multiple times but has never delivered the refund. This is very poor customer relations. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, and will now have to seek out an attorney to try and get my deposit back. So sad that they treat customers this way. Had some leaky windows. Mike gave a bid to repair that was a little higher, but also said he would warranty the work for 10 years, so I went with him. Less than a year out and the glazing keeps falling out, the windows leak just as much as they did before the work, and now he has stopped responding to my texts, emails and calls. I ordered a window on October 17, 2019 and paid half ($144.50). There were numerous appointments made to install the window. They never showed up for appointments, never communicated that they when going to miss the appointment or reschedule. I had to arrange the rescheduled appointments. On December 18, they were scheduled to install the window and again missed the appointment at that time I texted the owner and said I had no faith that they were going to do the work and that I wanted a refund. He only came to do the screens and we showed him two windows that had broken locks. He repaired those and saved us a fortune. For window issues I'd call him again without question. read more

I received a referral to Parker Window & Screen via Homeadvisor for a window pane replacement. Mike came to my home, measured, and gave me a quote which I accepted on-the-spot. Mike quoted that the work would be completed within 1-2 weeks (citing some uncertainty around the holiday). Mike is very affable and convincing, and considering that I received the referral via Homeadvisor, I had no qualms giving him payment in advance of the work. Time passed, and no word from Mike. After three-weeks, I called - but got no response. I then emailed and received a response from Mike that he'd be out the next Monday to complete the work... On Monday, Mike's dispatch service to advise that the work would have to be rescheduled for Wednesday... When Wednesday rolled around I got the call that it would have to be rescheduled for Friday. Unhappy, I called Mike but could never get through, and left messages that were never answered... When the 3rd appointment time rolled around I got another call to reschedule the work for the next week... This happened a total of FIVE TIMES and I'd had more than enough! I can understand a vendor having to schedule work once, or maybe even twice. Five times is completely absurd. What annoyed me even more is that Mike did not have the decency to return any of my calls, and had his dispatch service make all of the calls for him. You may note that I gave him two stars... The only reason for this is that he eventually did have the decency to refund the money that I had paid. read more

Nick came out to my house to look at our windows and screens from a hail storm. Nick was very nice and on time to the appointment. He said that Mike, the owner, would write up a bid and email me. I never heard from Mike. In fact... two weeks went by and I had to reach out to him. Not once did he say sorry. He finally sent me the bid and I emailed back with additional questions and again... never heard back. This is just bad business and I'll be looking else where for a company that 1. Is reliable, 2. The worst! Mike Tarin is not worth the tons of time you will have to deal with him. First couple of appts e was a no show, no call, no apology. Finally showed, seemed like a super nice guy, could talk the talk. Told us all work would be complete in a week. i have had a screen door that has been pretty flimsy and flowing in the wind for some time. Mike came over with his custom designed screen repair truck and fixed my screen door, he also installed a doggy pass through. where mike really stood out, is that he diagnosed the REAL problem...my track was warped and was easily replaceable...who knew!!?? anyways, I'm very satisfied with the service, and now my screen door is ready for summer. Ordered 7 window panes after Nick came to my home in July. Dealt with Mike Tarin regarding payment and scheduling. I deposited half using credit card. Between August and Oct they 5 scheduled appointments, and 5 canceled appointments later, I had enough and requested cancelation. Funny thing, I finally went to the web and saw the poor reviews and complaints with BBB. Most were for canceled appointments and no shows. Seems like a common theme with this company. I should have looked at reviews prior to becoming a customer. Mike was kind on the phone and apologetic and said I could get a refund. I inquired whether he even had the window glass and he replied yes. I find that hard to believe. Why offer a refund if you have custom glass you cannot use? 5 days after our conversation I still did not have a refund so I initiated a dispute with credit card company and within minutes they had issued me a refund. I find it shameful to treat customers this way. I wanted to give this company a shot, as they are essentially neighbors and part of my community. 100% pleased with the service Mike gave when he came to do the repairs on my sliding glass door and to fix the screens in my upstairs windows where my Siamese cat had scratched through in effort to get outside! Mike's response in coming to my home was only a day's wait, and his work here was so efficiently done with very reasonable prices. Very Disappointing service. I contacted Parker screens to come replace some screens on a rental property I own. They came out and re-screened a couple of the windows but had to take 4 screens with them to replace. That was last Oct 2018. I have contacted them numerous times to have them come out to complete the job. Every time I call, I get a third party answering service and NEVER has received a call back. Trusting that I was going to have good service, I had paid for the whole thing. It is very unfortunate that Parker Screens has not tried to contact me to complete the paid for service. FULL REFUND RECEIVED: I let Consumer's know I would update this review should we receive our refund (and, we have). I returned from an out-of-state trip taking care of a family emergency to find a check under our doormat (full refund). I'm not sure if it was in the 'timing' of this project with this vendor as to why the scheduling problems and lack of communication took place BUT, Mike did return our refund so, he does have 'ethics and integrity'. I would just caution to be thorough with a quote/communications to ensure both parties are on board (with scope of work, expectations, scheduling, etc.). Again, we support small business - I would hate to take anyone's livelyhood away. Just because we had a negative experience with the windows, doesn't mean this vendor isn't honest or wouldn't do a good job - it just didn't work for this particular project. Thank you, Mike for returning our deposit so that we can continue to find a vendor that meets our particular 'needs'. BUYER BEWARE! What a scam! Mike Tarin took a $678.00 down payment as, he recommended (2) major window replacements. He quoted 3-5 weeks for install, seemed like he knew the business and we try to support small business. Had to follow up with him (several times) and, after several times scheduling the work (and more times with him cancelling and having to reschedule), we asked for our money back after 2+ months (more so because we no longer had confidence in his work due to this interaction). He apologized he wasn't able to do the work and agreed to refund our money. To date - we have not received nor heard from this business. We will go the legal route (knowing that, even when we receive a judgement as, we believed in this person and his business) that chances are, we will never see our down payment again. We all work too hard for our money - particularly when it comes to home repairs, we rely on the 'subject matter experts'. We had researched this company, relied on his 'ratings' and thought we were thorough. We now need to start over (with budget, with research on companies and now, the weather as, this project was scheduled in September 2019). IF, this guy does the right thing and refunds our down payment, I'd be happy to update this post to let potential, future customers know he does have ethics and integrity (but we're not holding our breath!). I had a great experience with Parker Window Screens. I was preparing to sell a house and needed to get every screen in the house replaced as half of them were shredded or had holes and the owner was able to pick up all the screens and get them replaced in just a few days. There were a number of screens that were bent prior to his arrival and he was able to either replace or fix the bent screens. He really went above and beyond to get the job done right. read more

In getting our house ready to sell it was obvious we needed almost all our window screens replaced or fixed. We called several other companies but they were not able to help us the time frame we needed. We called Parker Window Screens. Mike came out to our house the next day and measured. He provided us a quote very quickly that was extremely reasonable and he had the screen work done within a few days. The screens fit perfectly and helped our house look updated. We ended up selling our house very quickly for above asking price and I know part of that is due to Mike's great work! You will not be disappointed choosing this company. After noting on their FB page that their answering service was very very rude to me when I called them to see where they were I finally got a call back from their so called vice president and he said time and time again he would do whatever he needed to to make things right. Called up, had an appointment within a few days, had MIke come out and he was great! Super nice, hardworking and efficient! We didn't know he was going to bring his mobile workshop on a trailer with him, but he did and we got all our screens masterfully replaced the same day! Mike came to my home in March 2015 and gave me an estimate for two window replacements. He certainly has the gift of gab and all the sale terms down to make his business appear to be better than all of his competitors. I agreed to his prices and gave him a deposit for the windows. He assured me that the windows would be ready in three to four weeks and installed shortly after they arrived. After a myriad of phone calls went unanswered his installer Chris finally came to the house and installed one window. This actually took them four months from the time I gave them a deposit. I inspected the window and found the frame was damaged on the inside and paint on the outside is now chipped due to the poor installation and quality of workmanship. I sent them a picture and asked to have it corrected. It never was. It has now been over six months since I gave Mike the deposit for two windows. The damaged window was never fixed so I asked for the remainder of my deposit. Mike came by while we were at work and slipped a check under our outside mat. He even had the nerve to charge us more than estimated for the one installed window so the refund was less than we were due. We are now out the money, stuck with an inferior, overpriced window and need to paint some of the exterior of the house. Really disappointed by the whole experience. read more
