We stopped here for dinner halfway through our eight hour drive. It was perfect! The place is really cute--nothing fancy, but the ambiance was perfect for the town and the food. We all ordered one of their 125+ signature hamburgers and they we all great! All of the different burgers areso unique and interesting and filling. Every one in my family loved the food! We also bought two sides, onion rings and garlic fries. Both were great and big enough to share between four people. There was something on the menue for everyone! First the good... We had a bunch of people say it was the place to go, so we made the drive out there just for the burgers. We did have great customer service from a friendly staff. It seemed like everyone knew each other there. Downside We ordered 2 different burgers and Parmesan fries. The fries were ok, standard fries with garlic flavor and cheese...the cheese didn't connect to the fries at all so you could just pick up the cheese alone as one piece or rip it apart and try to add it to each bite of fries. We mainly just ate the fries. I had the S&W burger and it was SUPER dry (way overdone) and SUPER salty, of course it had bacon, ham, and pepperoni on it so I can't really blame them since the meats are generally salty, but I ended up not finishing it because of it. (which NEVER happens to me) My wife had the Ba-da bing burger and it was also way overdone and dry. Maybe I am weird but I personally don't get the whole 6"+ tall burger concept, I would rather have 2 good burgers than one that you have to take apart to eat. (great as a joke 1 time, or to see, but not if you want a good burger) The toppings over powered the burger so much, the only thing we really noticed about the burger was it made the whole sandwich extra dry. Moral of the story, the place is way over-hyped, we like juicy burgers and this was the opposite of that. Just nothing special except if you want a ton of random stuff on a poor quality burger, than this is your place. read more

Absolutely fabulous, quaint little diner!! Service was great, our waitress, Ayla was fantastic and incredibly friendly. Driving through MT and looking for a drive-thru. Thank goodness there wasn't one BC it made us give this place a try. It is absolutely the best local burger place I've ever eaten. We stopped in to Parker's after a long, hot day of fishing. While the place was busy, it was easy to find a table and we were greeted as we walked in. As soon as we sat down we were approached by a waitress, who took our drink orders and left us to peruse the now 125 different burger selections. Sure, there are other things on the menu, but really, you want to try a burger. The meat is flavorful, well seasoned and the burgers are stacked w/ so many conceivable combos, you'll have trouble deciding what to have. Parker's even has a burger challenge, which would put many a grown man on the floor. We were brought huge glasses of cold iced tea (which I think was about a buck each) and our burgers, mine w/ onion rings, my husband's w/ sweet tater fries, arrived w/in 10 minutes. Great is not really adequate to describe them and the ecclectic Coke related memoribilia all over the place is delightful. Definitely stop by if you're ever along I-90 in Montana and near Drummond, it's well worth the effort. read more

Terrible. Took an hour to get our food. The burgers where steamed 100% lean beef with no seasoning in the beef. All four of ours where so bland it was almost painful. I had the "ultimate Reuben" and was appalled. The bread was the cheapest marbled rye they could find. The cheese was way too thick. The 1000 island dressing was almost absent and the kraut was about the worst I've ever had. And I've had a lot of kraut. My grandparents had the picnic burger. Same as the Reuben. Bland beef the cole slaw was bland. Like shredded cabbage drenched in dressing. And my wife had a simple burger with tomato and ketchup. All she tasted was the tomato and ketchup. I wish it would've been worth the wait cause the interior was interesting. If you want the parkers experience steam a bubba burger. read more

When our car had a flat tire, we pulled off at the Drummond exit. We walked into town, hoping for a place to sit until the tow truck came. We were so lucky that Parkers Family Restaurant was on the town's main road! Walking in, it had an immediate nice and friendly feel. A real Montana cafe. You feel like you're part of the community when sitting in a booth at Parkers. Food is fantastic and a much larger selection than you'd expect. Great burger buns are baked daily and are as good as you'll find. I asked where they got the pickles that came with sandwiches. "My husband started doing refrigerator dills" was the answer. Very unique pickle that's worth the stop all by itself. It's also worth the stop just to peruse the 3 ring binder "menu" with descriptions of the 100+ burgers.
