I took 2 falls 6 months ago and my sciatica came back after a calm few months. It's the worst it's ever been. It's so painful that I often can't fall asleep unless I take neurontin. I take naproxen every morning along with a muscle relaxant called tizanadine. Drugs dampen the pain but never fully relieve it. I refuse to take opioids unless under supervision. They're so addictive. In addition I have severe osteoarthritis in both of my knees but the right one is the one causing the most pain. I'm getting that knee replaced in September.
