TLDR : Great ambience, good pizzas and quick service Decided to hang out at the Park town Pizza and we loved it. They have an amazing ambiance great vibe to grab abeer and chill. The food is good and they have a decent variety of beers. Overall good to hangout and enjoy an evening.

In A Nutshell: -Parktown Pizza is a really good pizza restaurant. -They are unique b/c they mix Indian food ingredients into their pizzas. -I really enjoyed the Bombay Pizza. -It tasted so good w/ some spice & great toppings w/ curry sauce. -They also sell many cold beers on draft, which is another plus. Overall, I am glad I discovered this place.

Expensive but tasty! One of the best pizza in the Bay Area hands down! No doubt it is expensive and hence the low crowd turnout. Also part of the problem is the location isn't that busy. We tried the thin crust half and half chicken Tandoori and kadai chicken pizza. There have a good selection of beers as well including the local Russian river brewing company. Ambience is great - more like a sports bar place.

Many screens for sports games. Projector screen on the back wall.

My husband and I just had our son's first birthday party here recently on a Sunday and the staff, Neil, and Amal were great in facilitating that our event went as smoothly as possible. Amal was great in answering all our questions during the planning stages. We had a party of a little over 50 people. They allowed us to decorate ahead of time and the nice fireplace was a perfect backdrop for our themed background, balloons, and placement of gifts. The ambiance was excellent as we wanted to host our son's birthday party that had a small number of children and the majority of guest being adults. We ordered a variety of pizza which had flavorful ingredients that made it really good. My favorite pizza was the Gladiator. My husband's was the Veggie Delight. The adults who came to our child's party also liked that they could check out the football games on several screens and the projector while ordering steins of beer. Overall we would definitely recommend this establishment for any get together, hangout, or parties. We look forward to coming here again.

This is one of the best pizza places in the Bay Area. They have Indian flavored pizza. The lemon pepper paneer and masala pineapple are my all time favorite pizza. The pizzas are very tasty, fresh and simply delicious. The staff is very friendly. The place has very good vibes.

Slice of Pineapple Express, minus the sausage and a beer

Ordered a Pineapple Express which is suppose to come with pepperoni, sausage. mushroom and pineapple, the pizza was missing the sausage. The order was going to be eaten at the restaurant and the lack of sausage was only addressed after we asked about it. I'm not sure why we weren't told that there wasn't going to be sausage on our pizza per their menu, when asked we were told the sausage was moldy...that's fine, I wouldn't want moldy sausage but some forewarning would have been nice or an option to substitute or a discount of some sort but nope. This is on the expensive side for a smaller than average pizza. Oh, and the beer was $20, I'm not a fan of the expense or the lack of pricing transparency coupled with the poor customer service. I am dissatisfied and I don't plan on coming back.

It was pretty dead on Father's Day when we came in but I can imagine how busy it can be and there are lots of activities in as a whole. Bummer that game cards don't let you have tickets for games unless you upgrade it? It was our first time here so maybe something to do with them being free as a bonus to something else. No biggie, kids had fun playing and that's more important. Unfortunately that's where the positives stop. The Bad: service in the main dining area was rough, and that's putting it nicely. I did privately message the business but it seems that only respond publicly. We came in on Father's Day for the first time. Got a young lady with dyed red hair as our server. She couldn't answer any questions about the menu, my mother in law was asking how many wings on the sampler to see if it would be enough (which is not stated in the menu) and a few other questions, all met with "I don't know". Ok whatever, nothing to fuss about. But the problems kept coming. Everyone got their food, she never brought the kids drinks, didn't check back when food got there until having to be flagged down. The whole time, she was within sight but busy chatting with the bartender and coworkers. When we brought up the missing kids drinks her attitude shifted like we were the problem. Had to flag her for beer refills, drink refills, she never asked if anyone needed anything when she did come by to drop things off and she would literally drop an item and zip away before anyone could ask. We weren't high maintenance but when you don't even bring things we asked for to begin with, like yea, we're going to ask for them. The worst part is, when my mother in law got up to use the restroom, which has her walking past the host stand, there was our server bad mouthing us to the hostess, not discreetly at all. She was saying that we're acting like she's not taking care of us. Girl, you aren't! Basic service is not being met when you're not at the least bringing people's drinks or checking on us without having to be flagged down. Especially when there's barely anyone here. She just stopped coming by and we had to flag someone else down just to pay and be done with it. It really is a shame because we did like all other aspects of Big Al's. My in-laws drove all the way out from Visalia to spend the day with us there and the grandkids and to have to overhear your server talking trash so openly is just wildly inappropriate. We weren't copping an attitude, being rude or short with her. Please and thank you for everything, but if people asking you for things is a problem, or you're going to take offense instead of accountability, then maybe service isn't your thing. And management should really address the professionalism or lack thereof. Some people may not take a serving/restaurant jobs seriously, but it's a real job and it's how I paid my bills and provided for myself and family for 22 years.

This is more of a sports bar setting with TV's everywhere so you don't have to worry about judgmental staff or uptight players. Chances are everyone is too busy watching "the game" to notice your crappy swing. The sim, although tricky and hard to read if you've only played real courses, is accurate and offers a ton of feedback. Gameplay supports up to 4 players unless you set up the golf range setting, then it's basically open season. Only 2 bays available by reservation so plan accordingly. There are some loner clubs if you don't have your own otherwise bringing your set is recommended. We had a bunch of appetizers that were all excellent. We came on a slow night too so no issues with drinks/food orders but I can see that being an issue when it gets lively(then again what restaurant doesn't have this issue when busy?). To my understanding this place just went through a menu/renovation refresh so look to the newest pictures for the most up to date info.

We had two different servers come to our table who didn't seem to be communicating with each other. As a result, we never received an order of sliders, yet they still appeared on our bill. The bartender also struggled with very basic cocktails. A simple cosmopolitan and a lemon drop -- both extremely common drinks -- seemed to cause confusion, which was surprising. As for the food, it was nothing memorable. One friend ordered a smash burger that was so smashed it included the bun, which I've never seen before. The wings I ordered were small and underwhelming -- five wings for $15 felt overpriced and disappointing. Overall, I don't understand how this place has a 4.5-star rating on Yelp. I left pretty disappointed. The only thing that seems to keep people coming back is the scantily clad servers rather than the food or service.

A friend suggested Tequila Shots since he's from this area. We walked in and found a table by the door. We took turns going up to the bar to order rounds. I believe the recap above only encompasses two rounds of drinks. One of my gfs is a wine drinker, so she ordered a glass of wine. Their offerings for red wine were limited, but the pour itself was very generous. My default drink at bars is Jameson. It's typically not too pricey and a reliable irish whiskey. Tho the pour for a double was inconsistent. I did get my first round in a snifter which was a nice touch. The power went out while we were here which was kinda funny. Not sure if they have a generator or anything for blackouts, but everything came back up in a few mins. There was a table filled with lit up sports gear, so that helped light the space when the power was out. A nice bar to grab drinks. Funny enough, no one in our group ordered tequila. I believe they do happy hour 10am to 6pm every day. (I may be recalling the sign I read incorrectly.) If I find myself in this area during that time, I wouldn't mind coming back. REVIEW #3621
