Buck's Tavern is a great local spot. The hot dogs are delicious, the service is awesome, especially Ashley, but in general everyone is amazing and the ambience is super nice. You can really feel the neighborhood vibe. Lots of locals who know each other, and at the same time new people stopping by. Definitely worth a try, it's a nice place to hang out.

Stopped in here on a Friday night around 7pm. The staff were really friendly and seated us right away. For it being a casual bar the drinks were extremely elevated and something you'd find in downtown San Jose for $20+. We ordered the truffle fries that were great, cooked to perfection and reminded me of a giants game. We ended up ordering 4 cocktails total and they were all great and unique. The restroom was clean as well. This was a hidden gem and we could see this place as being our bar for sports games where you want a cold beer and a big TV. I definitely recommend.

Great sports bar with TVs, they have food until 8:30pm, and fast service. Perfect place to hang out pre game and watch games as well.

If you're new to the game or are too self conscious to visit a more serious setting, fairway zone…read moreis the perfect place to start. This is more of a sports bar setting with TV's everywhere so you don't have to worry about judgmental staff or uptight players. Chances are everyone is too busy watching "the game" to notice your crappy swing. The sim, although tricky and hard to read if you've only played real courses, is accurate and offers a ton of feedback. Gameplay supports up to 4 players unless you set up the golf range setting, then it's basically open season. Only 2 bays available by reservation so plan accordingly. There are some loner clubs if you don't have your own otherwise bringing your set is recommended. We had a bunch of appetizers that were all excellent. We came on a slow night too so no issues with drinks/food orders but I can see that being an issue when it gets lively(then again what restaurant doesn't have this issue when busy?). To my understanding this place just went through a menu/renovation refresh so look to the newest pictures for the most up to date info.

When we sat down and…read moreopened the menu, several items were crossed out or scribbled over, so the food options I had seen on Yelp were no longer available. We had two different servers come to our table who didn't seem to be communicating with each other. As a result, we never received an order of sliders, yet they still appeared on our bill. The bartender also struggled with very basic cocktails. A simple cosmopolitan and a lemon drop -- both extremely common drinks -- seemed to cause confusion, which was surprising. As for the food, it was nothing memorable. One friend ordered a smash burger that was so smashed it included the bun, which I've never seen before. The wings I ordered were small and underwhelming -- five wings for $15 felt overpriced and disappointing. Overall, I don't understand how this place has a 4.5-star rating on Yelp. I left pretty disappointed. The only thing that seems to keep people coming back is the scantily clad servers rather than the food or service.

What really sets them apart is that they somehow keep getting better and better. You can tell they're not content just being "good" -- they're constantly refining their recipes, expanding the menu, and improving the overall vibe of the place. From the food to the ambience, everything feels more dialed in each visit. The quality and consistency are unreal, and it's rare to find a spot that keeps raising the bar instead of coasting on its reputation. This is the kind of place you go out of your way for, and I happily do every single time. If you're in Milpitas and haven't been here yet, you're missing out. Absolute gem.

Never knew a neighborhood bar can offer a food menu to enjoy there or order for pick up or delivery…read more(through a third party) The foods are pretty good. I have tried several items such as street tacos, quesabirria tacos, burritos, Barbacoa (soup) and menudo (soup). My favorites are the weekend red menudo which has no hominy, but wish it did and the burrito (in both sizes). Menudo is one of the best in the area (I shouldn't say that too loud, but it's true). It's not watered down like other restaurants, it's full bodied and meats (tripe and pata) are soft. I do wish we had an option of hominy that we can request. Burrito have been filling as I have tried several meats. It's heavy to the hand and filling to anyone's belly. Sometimes I enjoy for 2 mini meals in a day. Quesa birria tacos are the third favorite. Cheesy, crispy and greasy in the best way. Consume is flavorful too. The least favorites are the barbacoa (soup) as itwas mostly broth and minimal shreds of beef, if any. The tacos are enjoyed by family, but there is an abundance of a taste or flavor I don't prefer. I maybe wrong but I think it's oregano (but again not 100%). The third not so fav are the regular nachos with just cheese and jalepeno. Also, a negative is that 2 orders were missing items. So check your bags to make sure. So thats not a good feeling when that part of someone's order but recourse is to drive back or let third party know to get a few dollars off. We prefer to receive order and enjoy. Not to follow up with a drive back or a complaint of an item shortage to get refunded a few bucks. Otherwise the staff inside are very nice and understanding. The menudo and burrito are favorited of mine. I will follow up and order other dishes or appetizers, along with the weekend red menudo.

We started off with a full order of wings split between the Honey BBQ and the Hong Kong flavors. The Honey BBQ was good but the Hong Kong wings had a unique savory flavor that kept us wanting more. The prime rib was fantastic - tender, juicy, and an excellent deal for the portion size. The veggies and potatoes did the job but understood they weren't the main attraction. Because the Thursday night special is popular, be prepared to wait for a bit. It's a great spot to catch a game, grab a drink, and enjoy the Happy Hour deals (there's a different one for every weekday!). Great vibes, lots of screens, and attentive service even though it was busy. We're definitely adding it to our restaurant rotation.

They have a $25 prime rib special every Thursday (5pm - 11pm) and Sunday (3pm - 9pm), and it was really good for the price. You get a 12 oz cut, with roasted potatoes and veggies. The meat was juicy, tender, portion was huge. It would easily cost $50+ in other places. We also tried 2 cocktails, Pueblo Mexican Candy Shot and the Spicy Cucumber Margarita. Both were delicious, but I personally liked the Pueblo more, cause the flavor was more complex. Overall, fun vibe, next to a casino, good price, good food & drinks!!! Definitely worth a visit!

I've come here at least 5x and they make it painful each time. Once I came early with my partner and we had dinner and drinks. Then friends showed up an hour layer, sat at a different table, and ordered separately with their own drink cards. The wait staff combined their check with ours and refused to separate it. How does that even make sense? They refuse to create separate bills for different drink cards which is stupid. They refuse to split checks. They didn't let us participate in happy hour because we didn't want to sit at the bar or outside in the cold. The staff here are terrible and want to make it the worst experience possible. I seriously cannot understand who combines checks for separate parties and checks who show up at separate times! Like where is the logic in that. Absolutely terrible place
