Never knew a neighborhood bar can offer a food menu to enjoy there or order for pick up or delivery (through a third party) The foods are pretty good. I have tried several items such as street tacos, quesabirria tacos, burritos, Barbacoa (soup) and menudo (soup). My favorites are the weekend red menudo which has no hominy, but wish it did and the burrito (in both sizes). Menudo is one of the best in the area (I shouldn't say that too loud, but it's true). It's not watered down like other restaurants, it's full bodied and meats (tripe and pata) are soft. I do wish we had an option of hominy that we can request. Burrito have been filling as I have tried several meats. It's heavy to the hand and filling to anyone's belly. Sometimes I enjoy for 2 mini meals in a day. Quesa birria tacos are the third favorite. Cheesy, crispy and greasy in the best way. Consume is flavorful too. The least favorites are the barbacoa (soup) as itwas mostly broth and minimal shreds of beef, if any. The tacos are enjoyed by family, but there is an abundance of a taste or flavor I don't prefer. I maybe wrong but I think it's oregano (but again not 100%). The third not so fav are the regular nachos with just cheese and jalepeno. Also, a negative is that 2 orders were missing items. So check your bags to make sure. So thats not a good feeling when that part of someone's order but recourse is to drive back or let third party know to get a few dollars off. We prefer to receive order and enjoy. Not to follow up with a drive back or a complaint of an item shortage to get refunded a few bucks. Otherwise the staff inside are very nice and understanding. The menudo and burrito are favorited of mine. I will follow up and order other dishes or appetizers, along with the weekend red menudo. read more

I tried the steak super burrito $15--meh. I also ordered a Mango Cart $8 and a Stell $8,, but both beers were not cold enough and were flat. Margarita was okay $14. There was no A/C inside either, which made the experience even worse. I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend this place. read more

A friend suggested Tequila Shots since he's from this area. We walked in and found a table by the door. We took turns going up to the bar to order rounds. I believe the recap above only encompasses two rounds of drinks. One of my gfs is a wine drinker, so she ordered a glass of wine. Their offerings for red wine were limited, but the pour itself was very generous. My default drink at bars is Jameson. It's typically not too pricey and a reliable irish whiskey. Tho the pour for a double was inconsistent. I did get my first round in a snifter which was a nice touch. The power went out while we were here which was kinda funny. Not sure if they have a generator or anything for blackouts, but everything came back up in a few mins. There was a table filled with lit up sports gear, so that helped light the space when the power was out. A nice bar to grab drinks. Funny enough, no one in our group ordered tequila. I love ordering my midori sours and mai tais when I'm with friends. We ordered quesabirria tacos and the flautas. The tacos were super cheesy and came with the consume. It had so much flavor with the onions and cilantro in it and in the tacos. They each were about $4. My cousin told me about this place years ago and I finally got to check it out. I was in the area and was glad that their happy hour is everyday from 11am - 6pm. Its a nice spot with parking next to the building. The service was great! Bartender was very attentive. They do sell food, so I decided to try out a carne asada tacos and al pastor and it was surprisingly good! This place is awesome. Came here on a random night with some out of town friends, and we ordered every kind of taco, nachos, quesabirrias, and some nice drinks. Literally everything was way above average. A dive bar like this having food this good is just crazy. To that point, it definitely is a dive bar. You don't come for the ambiance, although I appreciated its pretty clean (including the bathrooms), well lit, and the music isn't obnoxiously loud. The bartenders/order takers/waiters are all very nice. They did comment on how much food we ordered, but then again they made really good food so we kept ordering more. So it's their own fault we pigged out. Prices are fine, drinks are good, food is great, and it's a pleasant environment. I would 100% come back. They take credit cards and have a decent size lot out front. Just be warned that it's under an overpass and easy to miss when driving. read more

I hadn't been here in years, and we decided to visit this past Sunday (night before National Tequila Day!). The place was far more modern, more colorful, and a lot brighter than I remember (that's cuz it was really dark and drab before). A casual atmosphere offering a pool table, dartboard, ample seating, a few TVs, and random decor to go along with the random music (rnb, rock, oldies, and more). The cocktails here (whiskey sour, lemon drop, kentucky mule, etc.) were fine, pretty good actually, but not good enough for me to want to return anytime soon. The wait for drinks was ridiculous, even with the place neither crowded nor busy (some drinks were 10-15 minutes wait, others 25-30 minutes wait... for one drink). There was only one bartender and he was seemingly doing his best, making everything fresh (chopping up the garnish for each drink, etc.), a friendly guy, just slow. At least he gave me a little extra when he made my last drink. I'm pretty sure this establishment has better days, maybe when more than one bartender shows up to work. This is my must stop under Calaveras blvd! Family owned bar, that are usually opening up at 10am. Live edge bar with seating for you and a date, or the whole crew. Outdoor patio seating, allows you to enjoy a lunch under the sun. Lots of cold beers on tap, and your hearts desire for stronger liquor. But MY personal favorite!!! The food! When I asked how they were the man behind the bar just said I can't speak for my food it speaks for itself. Had a few regulars around vouching for everything. And they meant everything on the menu was amazing! Got our food from a nice woman who turn out to be the bartenders wife and they've been there well over a decade! 3.5 stars overall. The tacos are solid. Had the family try their street tacos (chicken, beef, and pastor). How can I not, at $3 a piece? I read how everyone is saying how good their quesa birria tacos are, so I ordered that as well. The taco sauce they provided was good. Had a nice kick to it. If you're not from this area, it's a hidden gem in terms of location but if you're a Milpitas resident, you know of this bar. The staff are friendly and they know their patrons well. They have a good amount of repeat business. The surroundings appear to be a little sketchy since it's under an overpass and there are a certain amount of the homeless community that roam this area, but for the most part they are harmless and they leave you alone. Milpitas number#1 sport bar my friends/co-workers and I have been coming out here for the past seven years and every time we would be greeted by either Juan and his wife or Silver Dragon and his staff (bartenders) are the best so attentive always felt welcome as we are more than his regular customers. There's never a dull moment with live TV sports and music to live up the place. There's a pool table, an electronic dart board machine and a boxing arcade machine popular among patrons. Late evenings is when it's pack always a crowd pleaser and never missed out on happy hour taco Tuesday still $2 Friday spicy hot links and fries $9. Came by late Wednesday afternoon still early but I was able to hang out with some of the regular patrons. Wednesday special cheeseburger and fries for $10 they were very generous with the fries and the burger was thick and juicy topped with lettuce, onions and tomato can't beat that no drinks just plain iced water. When I left more people were coming in though I didn't want to stay late as I said before bartenders are top notch friendly and very attentive. Came here on a whim after dinner with a few friends. It was my first time here and I'm shocked I haven't come sooner. I love going to dive bars and I can't believe it's so close to me. The bartenders were super friendly. Some of the barstools may be rocky and uneven. There's a pool table and the restrooms were nice. We did come randomly on a Monday night so it wasn't too busy. I thought it was pretty cool they have daily specials and a happy hour menu. I want to come back to try their food because the quesabirria caught my attention. Food can be great or miss in my book. Birria tacos were tasty but not crispy and needed a little more time on the grill. Garlic fries were not like any I have ever had before. They were eidble but I highly recommend removing from the menu or changing the recipe. The staff service is next level friendly. Location works well and the ambiance inside is decent. We have been 3 times in the last few weeks. The music is always a little loud but also kinda the vibe. If more people were dancing I would understand but its a bar & grill to me. One of Milpitas' local bar that is really popular or is a hidden gem depending on who you ask. The workers here are always great and kind with recommendations and carrying good conversations even when it's busy. It was my friends and my first time on a holiday weekend before Halloween because we frequent on weekdays and it's still really good service. The drinks are amazing and are so fresh, they're never stingy with their pours. We got to have food for the first time with the birria sliders and they were delicious, hoping to try quesadillas if my friends and I catch the kitchen before they close it.
