The way they pulled off Redbone by Childish Gambino. hmmmmm O-Kay clap, clap, clap because that was beautiful. I didn't have any drinks, but my priority seating included a picture. But here's the thing. It wasn't from a professional photographer. It was from a cell phone which the battery was on Red. So we had to use my phone & text it to her. I received a Polaroid picture. I had the privilege of going to the grand opening event. I went on opening day, and was met by about seven or eight friendly people all more than willing to chat with me about the venue and give me a tour. They showed me the exterior, and the little marriage alter area they set up. While I wasn't initially impressed with the exterior set up, I was greatly impressed by the facility and the set up inside. It's one solid room, with a smaller room about 9' x 9' that they called "the lounge" that had several nice couches in it. The main room had plenty of space for tables and chairs, and a small reception area. I forgot to ask if they have a dance floor, but like every other venue, they have relationships with outside vendors to either provide food, or decorating. Prices seemed really reasonable, and everybody was just super kind and excited. The entire place smelled like paint, which really is a great sign for a venue. Everything looked white and clean and new on the inside. I asked about audio/video capabilities, and was told they could easily bring in speakers and a projector if needed for an extra fee. I can definitely see this place for smaller weddings, business gatherings, or other medium size meetings. Again, everybody was just really great to talk to, and the facility was just beautiful inside.

It serves as an elegant world-class educational center to present and preserve regional history, with an emphasis on Veterans of the Clovis community. The structures invite quiet contemplation as one wanders through the memorials. Here is Hallowed, Sacred and Desecrated ground. That means never is yelling done here and no playing or games are to be played here. That includes pokeman players. For the sacrifices of Veterans must always be remembered and respected for they gave their tomorrows for our today. Special districts are a form of local government governed by an elected Board of Directors created by a local community to meet a specific need. Inadequate tax bases and competing demands for existing taxes make it hard for cities and counties to provide all the services their citizens desire. When residents or landowners want new services or higher levels of existing services, they can form a district to pay for and administer them. It is clear that a lot of pride and love went into the creation of these memorials and goes into maintaining them. This place is classy, clean and disabled-friendly. The floors are glossy, there are plenty of bathrooms and they are fresh and stocked. Many who work here are volunteers for as per Acts 20:35 ESV / "In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive."" As we walked the memorials, tears came as I again remember the words of General Norman Schwarzkopf Jr., United States Army (Ret.) Veteran, that "the more we sweat in Peace, the less we bleed in war." Those words should be and always must be the war standard that we hold every politician to. For "The military don't start wars. Politicians start war." correctly said General William Westmoreland, United States Army (Ret.) Veteran. That's why I support that all elected or appointed politicians who aren't currently Serving or haven't Served in America's Armed Forces, are required to spend the first six weeks of each of their terms in the front lines / combat zone hospital unit. Clovis Veterans Memorial District tells a terrifying story that war is never a nice place to visit, and no one wants to live there. It is a special district established 11 June 1946. In 1946, Ernest Hemingway wrote, "Never think that war, no matter how necessary, nor how justified, is not a crime." That's why I also support that all who aren't currently Serving or haven't Served in America's Armed Forces, are required to pay an annual War Tax of 10% of their gross income. I also support a draft for all with no exemptions. CDC rules are practiced here.

The inside is absolutely stunning, the custom options that are included, makes the event even more unique. there are no venues that compare to the level of customer service the Regency provides, the owners, managers and staff are top tier. Especially Miss Rosie, she saved my skins when I completely forgot something, stepped in handled it! Every employee was blown away by the decor, the setup and had a blast! Of course the red room is just down the hall so that's always an option too and the red room has a banquet room attached to it if you wanted to combine the two spaces. The service is really good, all the workers were helpful, attentive, and accommodating. Bathrooms are beautifully renovated, and clean. Overall, it's a nice event space I just think the food is hit or miss.

Hobbs Grove during Halloween is a tradition for my family and me. I highly recommend getting the fast pass so you don't have to wait in line; in my opinion, it's totally worth it. The merchandise is good, but I'd love to see more graphic tees and some unique items from local sellers, especially Halloween-themed, to make it feel extra special. The place is really clean overall, though the porta-potties can get pretty messy, my advice is to use them before you go if you can. Can't wait to go back, I absolutely love this place!

*** October 2025 Review ***…read more Well, another year, more haunts. This is a redo for us. My wife and I drove all the way from Sacramento to experience Hobb's Grove yet again. It's kind of the same interface, but let me tell you... The Haunted hayride that they offer is SO FUN and truly unmatched. I don't want to give the thrills away, but trust me when I say..... we drive over 2 hours to visit this Haunt! It's become a staple in the mix. Definitely 5 stars! Thank you team Hobb's! We'll see you again!
