Awful. Spent the first 30 minutes of the session I paid for listening to rules and watching a handful of people have a race. The music is the worst mess I've ever heard at a rink., it's nothing ANYONE wants to hear, straight trash. I PAID TO SKATE NOT PLAY GAMES OR RACE THE LOCALS. I'll just drive another 30 minutes to The Oaks next time and avoid this so called gymnasium "rink" place all together. A great time @ Parkview Skating Center in Roseburg, OR. !! First of all, I am shocked that this place doesn't have a million reviews already! Because it was packed!! Definitely a family destination for those with grade school age kiddos. Everyone was having a great time! Even though kids seemed to be constantly falling all around, they'd get back up and keep going. The staff were very friendly and informative. Just a $5 entrance fee, extra for rentals. They also have concessions, no outside food or drinks permitted. They had skating races, then time for everyone, followed by kids 13 and under, then 14 and over. Time for speed racing, change of direction, and they then lowered the lightening and shined a disco ball. read more
