This facility really adds to the attractiveness of Roseburg OR. Recently a costco and other big businesses have moved in, but the house prices are still low for what you get. What a place for families and for retired people to live. This facility really adds something to Roseburg. I think more and more people will move here and the value of property will rise because of all this growth, which this new facility is certianly a big part of. A lot of of the animals roam free, but then some of them like the elephants, giraffes, big cats, etc. are in enclosures. But they do have a good amount of room in their enclosures. This place is an accredited zoo, so they have standards that they have to follow. Some of the animals were a bit farther away, some come right up to your car. Especially in the area where you are allowed to feed the animals. I didn't buy a feed cup, but quite a few of them were still walking up to my car,, hoping that I had food. Sorry guys... it's just so much fun seeing the animals up close. Normal drive-through time is an hour to an hour and a half, but depending on how many times you stop, and how many cars are in the park, it could definitely be more. It's all up to you. If there are a lot of cars stopped for a specific animal, you can take a picture, and then go around the cars that are stopped. There's plenty of room to do so. In addition to the drive-through, they also have Safari village, which has more animals, a train ride, animal shows, restaurants, and snack bars, even a playground for the kids. It was $29.95 for adults, less for kids and seniors. If you are military/veterans/1st responder, you get the best discount. Free! I thought that was very generous of them. Thanks for the great visit. I will be back the next time I'm passing through.

Our kid loves animals and this was a perfect way to break up a very long trip with something fun and interactive as well as a drive through safari. My girlfriend and I were extremely happy to learn that Bill and his wife Sharon were willing to take a party of two for a full day on the river. The rapids were mainly class 3 with a 4 here or there, but the splashing and ride was a thrill. Halfway we were treated to a picnic lunch prepared and waiting. Talk about full service! We learned a great deal about the wild life and the native Americans that had once used the river and the surrounding lands for centuries. These folks are the real deal and the only truly local rafting company for this river. A must do.....

August 31, 2025 - Tiller, Oregon…read more The road to the waterfall is a 4-mile drive on a narrow Forest Service Road (NF 6530) off of OR-230. There is a sign that directs you to the small parking lot. From the parking lot, reaching the waterfall is an easy half-mile walk through the forest, with a few switchbacks along the way. The trail is well cared for, dogs are welcome on leash, and the peaceful beauty of the woods made the journey every bit as rewarding as the falls. Although, we had been warned about the mosquitos in the area, they were not an issue at all when we were there. Well worth the slight detour on your way to Crater Lake, Diamond Lake or the Rogue River Gorge.

The falls are quite beautiful and worth the hike down and back. There is no cell phone service, so you will have to save the photos to send out later.
