We had a cheeseburger with fries and a prime rib French Dip with tots. The hamburger looked hand formed with good beef. The bun soft and pillowy. The fries were thick cut and fresh out of the fryer. The prime rib French Dip must have been cut from the standing rib roast on Prime Rib Fridays. It was scrumptious. The tots were tasty and so good with fry sauce.

She gave us our menus and it took us a minute to make a choice. My daughter decided in The Club with rosemary fries and I opted for the Butter Burger with sweet potato fries. Our meals did not disappoint. They were perfectly cooked and tasty!!! We loved the added fun of being able to write a message on the chalk ceiling in the bar area. My daughters mac N cheese wasn't as great as she expected either. It was bland and dry. Yes, it had cheese, but it was stringy and not creamy. My husband loved his fish and chips. Hot and fresh and looked amazing. I did have a bite and it did taste really good. Note taken: Do NOT order anything but the fish and chips. When we were finished a new waitress gave us our receipt and asked if we needed anything else. I wanted to tell her we needed more water, but we were ready to go. I wish they would have filled up the carafe of water "before" I was about to leave. And..on top of that...no birthday surprise for my daughter. Some places sing a song or give a small dessert. But nope...not here. Oh well...I think I'll skip this place for any kind birthday celebrations.
