The drinks are great at Parlay and the service is fast! I really like how there were many different seating areas.

Really enjoyed coming here on my day trip to Richmond. It was really easy to get to and located near a variety of other bars, breweries, cideries, wineries. There's a cool greenery area located directly in front with a few picnic benches and umbrellas, perfect for enjoying the warm weather. We tried the chip shot (chips with salsa verde and queso dips), pizzas, and wings (Korean bbq and spicy Asian). I wasn't a fan of the queso, it was room temperature, had a weird consistency, and no flavor. The wings were pretty good and literally were falling off of the bone. The pizza was excellent! I ordered cheese pizza and added provolone and queso fresco. I definitely wasn't expecting the pizza to be that good so it was a nice surprise. A dj was also playing a mix of house/90's hits that we enjoyed as well. Our bartender was super sweet and did a great job taking our orders, remembering our modifications, and checking on us! Good drinks, good food, nice atmosphere. Among other events I haven't tried, the Trivia & salsa nights are fun. Also great place just to watch a game - or love island parties if that's your jam. The prices have been consistently good. You can get a bucket for $20, and some nights they have buy one get one free pizzas.. I wish you could mix/match the buckets in the same price range though. I've had pizza and wings here, and both have been pretty damn good. And the service is always super friendly. read more

Had a great time 4th of July at the hot dog eatong contest they hosted. They even had the Coney Island contest on ESPN just before. A little packed, so service was a hair slow but not bad. Came in for the karaoke for their Thursday night that goes from 8pm-11pm. Quick rotation and good lookin people in the room cheering me on. Seems like they have an average drink selection here. Outside patio is roomy and a big screen out there with speakers too. This used to be the old "Circuit arcade" bar. They use Karafun for the karaoke song choice.... Great selection but the sound system is lacking a bit for vocals. I'll come on back again. Haven't eaten here but maybe next time. Let's pack the house RVA. Great food, great service, and they fully embraced having a gaggle of teenage boys and their parents. Windi was amazing in helping us plan the evening; Lyndsey took amazing care of us and worked with us to find the best way to organize the space and figure out checks; and Reagan our server was amazing with all of our wild bunch. My Sunday league soccer team have used this place as an after game gathering spot. I found the service on point and the outside seating is nice. Plus there is a decent sports card store next to it so you can have a peak for your fav athletes cards after a drink. I visited Parlay to watch a football game, we made a reservation were seated on time and the servers were consistently attentive - fast/hot/tasty food with delicious cocktail drinks. The aesthetic of the place gives it a cozy and chic environment, I appreciate the upgrades they've put in. However, the moment they closed one of the overhead doors to keep in the heat / the smoke issue cannot be ignored. My eyes were burning, ended up leaving before the game was over and my clothes reeked of smoke. I personally will not be returning here until something improves about ventilation for this restaurant or if it's nice outside enough to have that overhead door up. read more

Parlay is such a cool sports bar and lounge! It's nothing like the average sports bar but a tad swankier. If you're a sports fan and want a break from watching your games at home, this the place to do so. There are TVs all over as well as a huge projection screen. The patio has TVs as well. The place is really nice sized and very open with plenty of seating. They have Sunday ticket and Thursday night football with a DJ. Tuesday night trivia if that's your thing. Their happy hour is good too! And if the kids must tag along, there's mini golf to keep them busy. They were playing Kool and the Gang radio on Spotify the day I was there so I was getting my jam on haha! They have a full bar and small draft beer selection with craft beer can offerings. They have wine by the bottle and glass. The food menu is not the typical bar food but rather a step up. For my cocktail I ordered "The DennyOneTime" which is their version of a Moscow mule. It was refreshingly tasty. For food, I had the "Crabby McEnroe Elote Dip" which is a creamy crab corn dip with a little kick. Topped with pickled red onions, queso fresco, and cilantro. They serve it with kettle chips. It was delicious! I also ordered the "Walk Off Taco", very similar to a frito pie that came with Fritos topped with chili, cheese, tomato, red onion, jalapenos, and scallions. The chili on it made it so much better than a regular frito pie! Sooo good! The service and hospitality were amazing. Everyone working there was really nice. I will definitely be back soon! Ate lunch at Parlay today. Very unique space with a fun vibe and great food! I had the mushroom sandwich with sidewinder fries. I asked for a side of the buttermilk vinaigrette for the fries and I DEF recommend that! My friend had the undertator nachos (pictured). So good! The whole staff was friendly and attentive. Had a great time at Parlay yesterday catching some college football with a friend. The vibes were laid-back, and it looks like they were even setting up for a WWE-style wrestling match outside, which was a cool twist. We grabbed some spicy garlic wings, which were good, but could have used more sauce. I also enjoyed a Falcon Smash on draft, and we got a bucket of High Noons - perfect for game day. Plenty of TVs with different games on, and seating was easy to find at noon, though it was filling up fast by the 3:30 kickoffs. Solid spot for a sports bar - will definitely be back! Food was great, but they charged a $10 "Olympic event" fee? I assume because they were playing some golf event on the TVs, but we were never notified of a cover or charge, and there was only 2 other customers so I doubt it was an event we walked in on. Pretty disappointed that an otherwise affordable and tasty lunch was ruined by hidden fees. read more

I recommend the BLT but I am looking forward to trying different menu items in the future! This is a great spot for dinner or lunch! The food was delicious. We started with the Caribbean jerk peanuts, and enjoyed them. The wings were some of the best in Richmond. They were fall off the bone, cooked to perfection. They load you up on sauces, that were all clearly homemade and unique. The spicy garlic parm wings were sooo good. The service was also great. Our server was polite and attentive. We met the manger, Tim, who was also super nice. They had a full bar, and plenty of tables. They also had couch areas for watching games that look cool as well. Parlay is a new sports bar with a sports card place on the other side of the building. This place reminds me of PBR on the inside. Except there couches you can sit at and they let you eat there like it's an actually table. The service here might have been the best service I have had in forever. Everyone comes and checks on you not just your waiter or waitress. I got the Big ol nuts which was a huge bucket of peanuts and you can get a bunch of flavors. I got the Caribbean jerk peanuts which is probably the best flavor. The peanuts were shelled but the consistency of the peanuts were so good. For my main course I got 12 wings for 20 dollars which I thought was pretty expensive compared to other sports bars. The wings were ok. I got 6 spicy garlic parm and wings and 6 extra extra hot wings ( basically mango habanero). All sauces for the wings and the ranch for the wings were homemade. I recommend the spicy garlic parm wings but on the other hand I do not recommend the extra extra hot wings. The extra extra hot wings were on the saltier side which was not ideal. The spicy garlic parm wings are some of the best wings you'll have in richmond. I think this place would be a very good spot to go watch sports games and have a couple drinks with you friends or family. I'm excited about a new place like this is opening and I'm surely coming back. read more
