We had no idea where we were while traveling to our AirBnB. Thank God for Yelp (and Waze)! Great little place - good food for a bar and grill! Since I splurged at breakfast with "SOS," I got a nice healthy salad for an early dinner. It was a Santa Fe, with the usual suspects (I held the tomato and onion) - blackened chicken, beans, cheddar cheese, tortilla strips. The Thousand Island dressing was super good - Im guessing house made? Very, very good! Tender and plentiful chicken and yummy all around. Nice atmosphere and sweet Southern server. I love the "y'all!" The man had a burger and onion rings, that he fancied a lot. (My only turn offs were the semi dirty bathroom and taped up booths).

We stopped in for dinner here after the place we planned to go to was closed. The parking lot was full but we parked across the street. We were seated quickly and got drinks fairly fast. After that, it went a little down hill. It took about 25-30 min to get our order and the waitress only stopped by when I flagged her down. It was crowded due to March madness and Randolph Macon basketball team was planning in a championship game. I had the Chesapeake sandwich which is chicken with crab dip and my wife had a Cuban. Both were typical bar food. Overall, the experience was ok. I would go back but will probably try other places in the area as well

Casual and efficient sports bar and restaurant. Plenty of parking, seating outside by the parking lot and inside which is where I like to be. TVs with lots of sports on, decorated with local sports teams from Randolph Macon to Hanover high schools. On the menu you are going to find all the American food you would want, wings, burgers, nachos and my favorite the club. Fries are tasty and plentiful. This is not fine dining but good food quickly with nice people. It is always busy which is a good sign. Fast on the refills and they have a bar section as well. I would recommend if you are looking for American food while keeping up with games.

We said no thanks we are not here for the band (that starts at 7:00, 3 hours later) and advised we'll just come back another time. As we were leaving, the manger, we assume, walked up to hostess and loudly stated in front of everyone "did they think they were just gonna walk in here for a glass of wine and listen to free music tonight". We have never been back. Management at the owners other place in town seem to share that same personality. Inedible food "you ordered it, you're gonna have to pay for it".

I'll keep it brief - I've never seen a table of twelve people unable to finish an order of cheese sticks (Fail). Worse than that were the jalapeno poppers where only one was eaten and the left rest to waste. How do you mess either of these up? I have no idea. The cheese sticks were almost gritty to taste and had a texture I hadn't seen in a cheese stick before. The jalapenos inside the poppers were either old or sour because they tasted like they had been pickled (another first for me) and nobody cared to try another one after that. (Fail) There were two burgers on the menu, a cheese burger and a mushroom & swiss - I went with the mushroom and swiss. About twenty minutes later parts of our food order arrived and I got a dry burger with a sad slice of tomato and a few pieces of weak lettuce scatted on top. That's it. (Fail) None of us at the table spent any time complaining about anything but across the twelve of us we left the table with half-eaten wraps, sadly eaten sandwiches, and none of the appetizers finished. Overall the owner should have refunded everyone's food and given a sincere apology to everyone for the food. Service was sparse at best. The place could have benefited from twice the wait staff as they had squeezed as many long tables into the place as they could. It seemed there was probably two waitresses and two people in the kitchen despite having planned a packed house. The band was great and despite the power going out two or three times totally enjoyed their music and dancing. This was the single good part about the night. Mentionable: We waited outside about 10 minutes (no big deal) to get checked in and get wristbands for the night but unfortunately spent that whole time breathing in and getting covered in the smell of the smokers in the sidewalk smoking section about ten feet from the door.

We have been going to Vito's since before we moved into Kings Charter and have yet to have a bad experience. Vito is first and foremost passionate about the product he provides and wants to do anything to make things right whenever someone feels they have been wronged. But understand, he is a small business owner and does not have the same buying power as the big boys--cannot negotiate pricing that can be passed along to the consumer, the fact is because of this lack of buying power, he has to pass off the increase just to stay afloat. Further, with all that has been going on in the world, there is a real shortage of supplies also driving costs...for example, the Ukraine is a major provider of poultry to Europe, we are now being called upon to help their supply chain, that will increase our costs. Products unable to be removed from the soil in the Ukraine are also affecting costs here in the States. As for Vito's the restaurant. I have yet to have a meal that is anything short of outstanding. Please, if you have a bad experience, take the time to talk with him and allow him the opportunity to fix.

My sister and I visited with my niece (my sister's daughter) and it's a cute local place. They were having a daddy daughter event for Valentines Day on one side of the restaurant and it was adorable to watch. We ordered the garlic knots to share and they were really good. I got the Italian sub with onion rings and my sister got the pesto tortellini with shrimp. The menu is weird because there aren't any prices on it. Due to that fact, my sister asked the waitress before ordering the cost of her dish. She was told $13. She was surprised to get such a low cost with the shrimp on the dish but went ahead and ordered it cause it seemed like a good deal. When we got the bill, it was about $21 plus we believe the waitress didn't properly split the cost of the garlic knots but we didn't realize it till after we had gone home and double checked our bills. Finally, I ordered a chicken parm sandwich to go for my husband to eat before he headed to work. The bag I was given was taped shut so I didn't check but when we got home, we didn't get the onion rings we ordered for him. The attention to detail seems to be lacking at this place even if it did have overall good food.

Bartender was probably the busiest staff member, and he ran his bar efficiently, and with a smile. Overall the place just had a good, friendly vibe. If I have a critique, and I do, it's that the ranch served with the wings is pretty bad. I'm a bit of a ranch snob, and I didn't dip after the first wing. The brussel sprouts, however, were fantastic. Crispy without being burnt. Not too much Parmesan or balsamic glaze. The location isn't in my usual area, but I'll likely be back for a game, a beer from the absurd selection, but maybe I'll go blue cheese with my wings next time around...
