When we got there around 9 am they had hardly any donuts left. Service was awfully slow as there was just one staff and a ton of customers scooping up the remaining donuts. The donuts are not crazy sweet, but almost croissant like. The iced coffee was good, but not amazing. It's not like you are going to a fancy coffee shop. It is coffee and donuts. The breakfast sandwich was really good. It had a nice fig jelly and sausage on a flaky biscuit. Frozen or fresh; doesn't matter. Everyone was friendly and it was clean. Considering we went during the TriFive Nationals; I'm not upset with the friendly faces and good food. read more

We went through the drive thru though and it still took 15 min of waiting at the window. My coffee wasn't like ordered so they (kindly) remade my coffee, but it just wasn't tasty once remade. I ordered online the night before knowing I would be traveling through the area. Unfortunately, they didn't receive my order, but filled it within a few minutes. Staff were so nice. Seated area & bathrooms were clean. Donuts were amazing!!! I got everything chocolate plus French toast & maple bacon. They traveled well & still tasted fresh as we ate them for the next 3 days. (My mom swears by putting bread in her oven that she doesn't use). Highly recommend!! Just be careful, the parking lot is a bit precarious to get out of making a Left turn. read more

I will start this off by saying I am an avid *lover* of parlor doughnuts. The doughnuts are flaky and just the right amount sweet. There's so much variety and always a friendly person at the counter. I always recommend them. I had even tried this location two months before when they had just opened (the doughnut and coffee is from this occasion). However, recently I had a terrible experience. Employees were rude and almost seemed annoyed. I ordered an açaí bowl and was told the were out of bananas. They said they would replace with other fruit in stock. Instead, opening the bowl was gnarly, old, rotten banana slices. I was appalled. Even eating the bowl, the granola tasted stale and the peanut butter was in two thick chunks rather than a nice drizzle. I am very shocked this was considered acceptable. Workers were uninformed about their own menu offerings, on FaceTime calls while taking orders, tending to their own needs while serving customers (eating snacks), and very uncommitted to upholding Parlor's reputation. They are not cake, they are not yeast and they are not even fritter like which some people consider doughnuts. They are more like heavy croissants with different flavors. Again the taste was ok, but they were very heavy. If you are looking for traditional doughnuts this is not the place for you. This is the best donuts I have had in my entire life, like life changing lol I had been wanting to try them so on my way to a Dr appointment I stopped knowing it was probably a little late in the day and they could be out. The cases were kinda bare but the staff said no worries we can whip up what ever you want even if you don't see it in the case. I got the Strawberry Shortcake and it was an experience, so amazingly perfect! I got a few of the filled bites and those too were magical. Can't wait to get home and have my husband try his Bourbon one, I tasted a little of the fosting and it was divine! Stop what you are doing and go get you the best donut of your life! Finally! A great place for donuts in Bowling Green, although not a donut shop in the classic sense...more like a chewy croissant. The things are scrumptious! Place has been slammed since opening not many days ago, so selection can be limited. Great thing is they cook constantly during open hours, so you can wait a few minutes and see the selection broaden. I hope the care and skill they have shown during the opening will continue after the newness has worn off. If so, I will be a regular! I really wanted to like this place! My husband and I went in to try their vegan donut options and we ordered four different flavors. The man taking our order seemed confused and didn't seem to know how to take the order. After the donuts were ready we sat down inside. The restaurant itself is clean and nicely decorated. Now for the donuts: dry, it all tastes like coconut flour no matter what flavor you get. Finally, the box they placed them in was too small and all the flavors melted together. Pretty bad first experience. Coffee is well below average. Very low on donuts, which wasn't surprising because they were kind of busy. What really disappointed me the most was that when I asked for a Maple Bacon (they didn't have any out in the display), I was told "No, we're out." That was cool, until the guy right behind me also asked for the Maple Bacon and was told "You'll just have to wait a minute for it." That didn't sit well with me, especially since he got that donut before I got my coffee. Thought we'd give this place a shot but everything about GADS is better. Just go there. read more
