I stole the photo from the website because I ate mine too quick.

Okay. Really. A Gluten-Free place with flavor? I've only eaten the Chocolate Chip Scone and it's the best I've ever eaten. I can't put into words how good it was. I wish I had warmed it but, it'd put me in a coma. I'm not gluten-free but a co-worker (also not GF) wanted me to try one because it's good. These aren't your traditionally shaped scones. By all appearances, it seems the bottom is fried and the scone is baked. I'm not sure how this all happened but, keep it up! The flavor is amplified. Now I need to try the other goodies they make!

Chicken Salad Sandwich- this is half. I grabbed a quick pic before eating it in the car while driving. It was delicious!

Was passing through Bowling Green from Nashville and checked out yelp for a gf spot. So excited to find Awaken! I got a delicious chicken salad sandwich and both dairy free cupcakes! The bread for the sandwich tasted like sourdough (which I love!) I just ate the chocolate vegan cupcake and it was delicious as well! Very rich and chocolatey. Excited to try the strawberry cupcake tomorrow! If you live in Bowling Green, you definitely need to stop in! Or if you're just passing through like me- it's worth the few extra minutes to go downtown instead of just stopping at a chain right off the exit!!

100% would recommend this restaurant!!!!…read more we arrived right at 5pm when they open back up for the day. firstly the atmosphere and customer service is top tier. everyone is super attentive and welcoming. we started off with mixed drinks, with a very wide selection, each drink we tried was perfectly mixed and balanced. we definitely would recommend the french martini and vette city. as for appetizers, we tried the fried pickles and jalapeños. the batter was light but crunchy and flavorful and the house made ranch paired perfectly with them. main courses i would 1000% recommend the chicken rosa. such a delicious dish with a creamy mash potatoes side and perfectly seasoned and sautéed fresh vegetable side. the lemon caper sauce paired with the chicken was stunning. chicken was cooked perfectly and still very juicy. the basil pasta dish was al dente with a rich, herby, and creamy sauce. the crème brûlée was the most delicious dessert to end the meal with a perfectly crunchy sugar top not too charred and the crème part was flavored very nicely with a good vanilla taste. 5/5 WOULD RECOMMEND

It a hard balance when for some. The atmosphere was modern chic with farm house feel. The pour on my wine was subpar along with my dinner portion of salmon. For these reasons, I can't give them a four star or better review.

I've been driving by this place for a few weeks now and decided it was time to stop in and check it…read moreout last Saturday. I was by myself since my husband was working but did a quick walk around to see what they had (didn't really have intentions of buying anything, just wanted to see what it was like). They had a nice variety of produce and even some meats and cheeses that I am hoping to try in the future. There were many homemade goods (jewelry, soap, leather goods, knives) and a little cafe that I didn't check out too closely. The area was pretty packed with vendors and customers so I tried to keep moving since I wasn't paying. From my brief first glance, their prices were better than many farmers markets I've been to but still more than Kroger. The cafe looked incredibly cute and smelled good so I'm excited to go back and try it! My only complaint from my trip (which may change if I go again and am not alone) was that it was pretty cramped and hard to just walk through and look without every vendor stopping you and trying to seek their product to you. I probably wouldn't have minded if I had money to spend but my budget was out for the week. I mainly just wanted to look and get an idea what prices were so that I could go back and get the goods. I do expect my opinion to change (in a good way) when I go back, so I'll update my review as appropriate when I do!

Always a treat. Friendly people, great selection, great coffee, great hot breakfasts…read more The fried pie lady is cute and makes top notch, fresh peach, apple and cherry fried pies. Not to be missed. Two great farmers' markets in Bowling Green; we go to both. You should too.
