They make their own syrups in house which is a nice touch but this is definitely a place that lets the coffee shine. You can tell they roast their own beans and care more about highlighting the actual flavor of the coffee rather than masking it with a ton of sweetness. If you prefer your drinks on the sweeter side, I'd definitely recommend asking for a good bit of extra syrup.
