The mascarpone cream cold foam really made it smooth/creamy with the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee flavor. Not overpowering at all, just really well done. We also tried the harvest chicken bowl which was super fresh & flavorful. I loved the mix of greens and ingredients like apples, edamame, and quinoa. It felt hearty but still light and content. My dad ordered the turkey club and really enjoyed it as well. It had bacon and some type of condiment. Wouldn't change anything about the 3 things we tried. I was so bummed because I reeeeally wanted this place to be good. When I walked in to order something for lunch, I thought the business as a whole was adorable. I loved the little shop area to the left, the loft area for lounging and working, and the small grocery area (including alcohol). The decor and vibe was very chic, and I had high expectations for whatever I ordered. For lunch I chose to try the Mediterranean Bowl, adding chicken to it. I love these flavors and thought it was going to be perfect! It took about 10-15 minutes to get my bagged order, and I left to return to campus to eat. When I opened the bag, I was confused for a moment. I had just spent $20 on this lunch, and the to-go container was the size of those that fit one hamburger inside. It was small for the price I'd just paid. I opened it, and I was disappointed in the portion of chicken I paid EXTRA for, as it looked old and dried out and MAYBE 2 oz. of it there. So now I'm worried about what I just bought... When I took a bite of the arugula and tzatziki, I thought it was decent. Then I tried a bite of the chicken, and it was saturated in cumin seasoning, horribly dry meat and a jerky texture. I'm a nursing student with limited time for lunch, so going back to have it remade wasn't an option. Other students asked where I had gone, and after telling them Provision and seeing what I'd been served, it was a turn off for them too. It simply was not well executed. I'll gladly pay $20 for a bowl of something delicious, but this completely missed the mark. read more

What's great little place. We were told about it by our friends at the Grand Hotel that it was a good coffee shop. Well it's far more than that in terms of all the options available. It's a got a chill atmosphere with seating outside, inside, or a nice bar. Want food they got you covered for breakfast and lunch. Don't like the wines they have available- no worries they have racks of sone for consumption on premises or to take with you. They have all kinds of French chocolates and candies from all over. I was meeting a new friend mid-afternoon for a business discussion, so I wasn't really interested in food, but the frozen lemonade sounded like a perfect choice in our record-breaking heat! And it WAS a perfect choice. It was so yummy, like a frapéed slushy. The open environment with couches and small tables were inviting and versatile for each individual's purpose. We stumbled upon Provision from seeing bubbles trickling from the roof which made me go check out this wonderful establishment. We were greeted by 2 very friendly gals and was so delighted by their special menu of coffees. After a quick and easy order, I was amused by all of the thoughtfully curated pieces in the store. You can find everything from housewares to gourmet salted caramel to an adorable Provision branded hoodie/mugs. While I was checking out the store portion, my boyfriend struck up a conversation with the wonderful barista who recently moved to Alabama from Minnesota. I joined the conversation once my drink was ready and she told us where to find a great walk in Fairhope with a view to sip our coffees as she is still new to town. We took her suggest to walk at the Grand Hotel and were so happy to spend our beautiful morning this way. I got the King Cake Bonanza Cold Brew Coffee which was a cold brew with flavored cold foam. The coffee was incredible and not bitter one bit. The foam was velvety and had the perfect sweetness that complemented the coffee so well. The cute sprinkles were a nice surprise and delight! I got my coffee to go as I was only in town for the morning but Provision would definitely be a space to stay and enjoy. If we would have had time to stay and enjoy, Provision makes your coffee in an adorable "REAL" glass cup, such a good addition and thing of the past. Came in with in-laws and my wife for a quick breakfast after a Dr appointment for the first time this morning. The breakfast menu is short and has something for everyone. We had avocado toast with eggs, bacon and an Americano with coconut milk to wash it down. Very willing to accommodate our gluten free needs, went so far as to send a staff member out more GF bread when they discovered that they were out. That slowed our meal by about 10 minutes so the manager just credited back our credit card almost 50% of the bill!!! Not something you see happen very often. We had a group of 18 ladies that met for lunch in June coming from Mobile and the Eastern Shore. Provision arranged tables that accommodated us perfectly. Everyone ordered something different and all were delightfully pleased with their meal, drink, and dessert. The atmosphere was wonderful! I had the avocado toast with two fried eggs along with an iced matcha with a shot of expresso. Grabbed some delicious cookies to go as treats for my family. TL;DR. EPIC place for coffee, wine, cocktails, small group conversations/meetings, studying, or chilling. Quite surprised this place was buried on the second page, although maybe that's because it's relatively new. This is easily the #1 wine bar/coff ee place/lounge on the Eastern Shore. It is like a smaller version of Tampa's Armature Works. The wine bar has a bunch of cocktails and specialty drinks utilizing wine as their liquor of choice with hard-working, amicable bartenders. The coffee bar includes a bakery and is reasonably-priced with excellent drinks. The owner, Will, is almost always there working right alongside his staff and meeting patrons. There is also a small grocery market area, as well as a high-end "flea market"/craft fair style area and a decent selection of wines available for purchase by the bottle. Lastly, there is plenty of lounge/couch space to "chill" on, as well as tables for studying, and the music and talking levels (even when busy) are kept appropriate for a relaxed atmosphere conducive to both getting serious work done and meeting with someone for a drink and some conversation. read more
