I placed an order through DoorDash which took over an hour to be prepared. DoorDash sent three different drivers (who all left after waiting 15 minutes) until it was finally ready. I tried calling the store two different times and it went to voicemail both times, and their voicemail box doesn't even work. I received my order 1 1/2 hours after I placed it, just seems a bit much. Their model is to make and decorate the donuts on demand, but they have the Starbucks problem in taking way too long to get orders out. Beware when going here as you will not get even a single donut in under 10m - I have been here off-peak times too. Normally I don't leave these sort of reviews, but today they took over 30m to fill an order for a dozen donuts - I even left and came back to give them time. The manager couldn't tell me where my order was or how many were in front of me. He also couldn't take the time to refund me - and these are not cheap donuts. If you come in the morning, be prepared to be greeted by stressed out staff and a display with almost nothing in it because they are still scrambling to make donuts even after they have opened. My husband heard of this place and we ventured out the 30 min drive to try them... and we are so glad we did! These are some of the best donuts we have had! They looked dry and i thought it was because we went there at 2 pm - however... they are def not dry and the taste of the dough is just awesome! The amount/ratio of the toppings it's perfect and they balance the dough nicely! Ok, so don't get me wrong. I love this place, but there are things that need fixing. Been there thrice. Coffee Always luke-warm and coldish by the time I get to my office. Wow! Freakin' awesome donuts. Grab a dozen, a mix of six or seven different ones. We also grabbed a gluten-free one. Everything was fresh and tasted great. the doughnuts are AMAZING but don't sleep on the breakfast tacos! they are really good with freshly made eggs, melty cheese that's not a gross square cheese, and solid chorizo. the doughnuts are delicious- I highly recommend the churro doughnut. the inside is a cool antique feel and very chill. the staff was nice and helpful. we went twice on vacation and didn't regret it! will probably try to squeeze in one more visit before we leave! read more
