This was true excellence. a cullinary masterclass in specialty donut. You can't just make stuff like this because you want to make money. You can only make stuff of this quality when you're passionate about the product and love what you do! When that's the case: the money comes itself. That's how strongly I feel about this place. I thought this would be another dessert donut, with dried toppings and subpar dough. Boy was I wrong. The flavors were balanced perfectly, the dough amazing and the cream was anything but dry or hard. We got the following: - Yuja - Blueberry - Pistachio You know something's good when after you have it, you want others to experience the same. I highly recommend this place and look forward to visiting again. The hype is real. I wish the people at creamy Seoul the absolute best. Thank you for sharing your excellence with us.
The store was pretty small with quite simple decor, which is great. There were 7 flavors of donuts for me to choose and I couldn't decide, so I got one of each. The first one I tried was the earl grey one. I am surprised by the earl grey flavor, because it was hard to make earl grey flavor to taste good but they did! It was not too sweet and I could easily have a couple of these. The other flavors I got are - strawberry, chocolate, pistachios, red bean & cream, biscoff, yuja. I shared some of these with some friends. Everyone has anything but great comments about the brioche. I also ordered the Iced matcha strawberry. The matcha flavor was great and went really well with the brioche. Really hope to go back again soon!
I didn't know what to expect but I was pleased with my experience. You walk into a cute little retro vibe with the old school radio and decor. The staff was patient and kind. I had the strawberry donut with a strawberry matcha latte. You would think I would be overwhelmed with strawberry but not the case. The donut was fresh and light, not overly sweet, even with the cream in the middle. Delicious! There's space matcha was really good too! You have to mix it up well but it's one of my favorite matches that I've had and I've had plenty. I'm not usually a fan of the liquid matcha. I loved it. Highly recommend!
It is day 3 post experiencing Creamy Seoul and I am still dreaming of this spot. I periodically open the Instagram page and browse through the posts. We got the blueberry, earl grey, chocolate and mango donut. The cream is so airy and flavorful. The dough is brioche. Korean iced coffee- first time having it and absolutely loved it! It was also under $4 which is a great price! Highly recommend! :)
The hype for this place is true. We arrived the other week on their one year anniversary. And if you follow them on social media you will come to find that business is great. They will sell out if you don't get there early enough. Now the question though does it taste good? The answer to this question is YES! We ordered 4 donuts and a matcha. The matcha was very good. As for the donuts my favorite was the biscoff followed by the strawberry, lemon and blueberry. Now my wife's favorite was the blueberry. Each donut was consistent with a creamy inside mixed with its main flavor. After eating the donuts I can see why they are fantastic. Besides the four flavors I mentioned there are more but if you want to sample a few to start things out you can easily handle a box of four donuts. As of this review, one other item to state here is that the business is only open three days a week. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. So make sure you plan your visit ahead of time. Overall Creamy Seoul is a fun and delicious experience. We will be back because we haven't tried the rest of those delicious donuts out. Highly recommended!
Finally tried their donuts. I waited a few months until the initial craze was done. But that was just me and my wishful thinking. There was still a long line. We got the earl Grey, Chocolate and strawberry. The donuts were soft and yummy. The cream fillings were not so sweet which I loved. Our favorite was the strawberry. The Earl gray was also good. The chocolate was okay. I just don't understand why it takes such a long time for the lines to go through. The donuts are there in the clear glass cases and labeled clearly. Just point to the ones you think you like and move along.
SPECTACULAR!! These donuts are are not only extremely moist and fluffy but they have great flavor. I love that they are not overly sweet like most donuts. My favorite one has to be the chocolate and the blueberry, the cream inside is honestly perfect. Definitely worth waking up early for !
I can't describe Creamy Seoul in one word because it's Amazing, Fluffy, Mouth watering. There's a reason why im in line before they open; cause I want to make sure these phenomenal donuts don't sell out. What I love besides how fluffy they are is that they aren't overly sweet like most donuts. My faveorite is the strawberry & blueberry plus the strawberry matcha is sooo good. The staff is so sweet and just makes you want to keep coming back.
I absolutely adore this place! The owners are the sweetest, most enthusiastic people you could ever meet in your life. Their donuts are incredible! The donut itself is so light and fluffy yet cream flavor is just incredible. It's only open on the weekends and the lines are insane. But it's totally worth it because if you come later, the best flavors are usually sold out. And all the folks who wait in line are so sweet and give their own favorites. Castella is a popular but I'm partial to the Yuja which I was told was like Yuzu, a citrusy flavor. I'm delighted that this local mom and pop shop are doing so well.
Love this donut shop! The servers are all super friendly and polite, they made wonderful recommendations. The shop is really cute, only has a few seats so it's definitely mostly a take-out spot. We tried the strawberry, earl grey & pistachio flavor. The cream filling was so smooth and perfectly sweet, not overwhelming at all! The matcha and milk tea were decent but not their top items. Don't skip tho because the donuts are must try. Definitely recommend!
There is a reason there is always a line and a reason why they sell out every day. Although I can't eat these donuts, my spouse can and said they were absolutely phenomenal. They are certainly something we will be back for (it would be cool if they attempted a gluten free one one day). And I got the matcha since it's all I can actually have there. It was pretty good! I was raving about Creamy Seoul to my friend from Houston and how it is probably my favorite bakery in Dallas. We drove 45 minutes in the morning just to grab a few of their donuts, that's how dedicated I am for these donuts. They went viral on tiktok after the first time I went and would sell out very fast. Luckily for us, the hype has died down now and they still had plenty of every flavor available left. They rotate their flavors every week. We ordered the mango, blueberry, biscoff, and yuja donuts. All are filled with cream of their respective flavors. My favorite was by far the mango one. Even though it's not mango season yet, these mangos were good. I would rank them in order of the box, next best was blueberry, then biscoff, then yuja. Yuja is basically the Korean version of yuzu, very citrusy. I love how their creams have a subtle sweetness that still highlights and enhances each flavor.
I finally got to try the donuts and can confirm they are amazing!! I love that you can order through Instagram the night before. That really is the best thing. Even when the donuts are sold out you can still get drinks. I tried 6 donuts and a mango matcha. The flavors i got were yuja (yuzu), mango, strawberry, pistachio, choco, and lotus (cookie-butter). The 3 flavors i didnt try were blueberry, earl gray and custard. The donuts are brioche- light, soft and fluffy. The fillings are light and creamy. Not too sweet. The cookie butter one was my fave but they are alllll delicious. Worth it but make sure you order online the afternoon/evening before!
We came by Creamy Seoul Donut around noon on a Saturday. Honestly, the inside and outside decor felt pretty bland compared to how hyped this place is. No line at all when we got there, and it's more of a grab-and-go donut shop than a sit-down spot. Ordered, paid, and were out in under 5 minutes -- super quick stop. It seems that they only have a selection of 8 or 9 donuts on any given day. Their days and hours of operation are pretty limited and, despite that, they're still super hyped up. Goes to show how good they are. We got the pistachio, earl grey, and yuzu. The yuzu was probably my favorite -- nice strong citrus flavor without being overly sweet. Pistachio leaned sweeter but still tasted good; you could tell they used real pistachio. Earl grey was the sweetest of the bunch, definitely gives you that tea flavor but in donut form. All of their donuts are loaded with cream inside, so if you're into rich, creamy desserts this is your spot. The donut itself (under all that cream) was actually really good too -- makes me think they could pull off savory options if they ever tried. read more

Finally, made it into Creamy Seoul donut shop... on a cold & stormy day! Day before Easter, and it is 57°F with strong wind & rain from the north! I drove a long way for an appointment in fabulous Flower Mound, Texas, 40 minutes of passing wrecks on the freeway (hope nobody hurt) and cops diverting traffic. Wind was crazy too. Short visit, staff was helpful & kind, all four of them! Most donut shops have 1 or 2 persons up front. Tiny lobby here. They do not serve Hot Coffee, their selection of specialty drinks is iced, for the sweet heat of Texas life. I enjoyed the cream-filled blueberry donut, and bonus round of licking cream out of my mustache before my appointment! Wish I explored the drinks menu here, maybe next time. read more

They opened last year and have been selling out since!! Super viral on IG and I get all the hype. We're not from the area, and so I've been checking their IG and they sell out so quickly. I recommend to DM for pick up like we did! The interior is quaint and cute and they have a small standing table with plates and utensils. We got 5 donuts: Strawberry, blueberry, mango, early grey, pistachio. I loved the texture of the donuts, so soft!! The filling is like a whipped cream texture and it's not too sweet, and doesn't fill you up so easily. They offered a reward card -- buy 10 and get 1 donut free. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and it didn't disappoint! The brioche donut was super soft and the cream filling was light and refreshing. The filling to bread proportion was also perfect- and a lot of time other filled donuts are mostly breading. There was a little line when I got it there but the team had a pretty good system and didn't take too long. There is only a small side bar table and sitting area so you'll most likely just have to take these donuts to-go. I would recommend going as early as you can because I got there around 10:30am on a Sunday and they were already almost sold out and didn't have all the flavors left. read more
Wow, how did I not know about this place?! All good vibes as soon as you walk in. =) Tucked away in the commercial strip behind Fiori, this boutique donut shop is the spot to be during the weekend! The shop can fill up fast with customers, but the service is so fast and friendly that it's not a problem. I got the super popular earl grey donut which was oddly good! It had both an herb taste combined with a light n fluffy vanilla flavor. It's really difficult to explain so I would suggest just trying it! They have many different donut flavors to choose from and variety of specialty drinks that I am want to try them all! read more

What a fun place. The shop is very simple... with limited space to eat... But the donuts are excellent. These guys are creating each one carefully... With fresh ingredients... Cream... Sugar and flavoring. It's like buying a little piece of art...Sold by super nice servers. The prices are higher than an average donut for sure... But the quality is outstanding. We drove 50 miles round-trip to buy a couple boxes to share with others... Check these guys out. read more

I'm glad to have tried these donuts. Most times the donuts are too sweet for me, but these are just the right level of sweetness. The servers were really kind packing the donuts accordingly to my request. I hope that next time I can get to their store earlier than 1pm. Most or all donuts were sold out by then. read more

If you're even thinking about trying Creamy Seoul donuts--just go. They're one of those treats that instantly reset your expectations for what a donut can be. The first thing you notice is the texture. These aren't your typical dense or overly fried donuts. They're incredibly soft, almost cloud-like, with a light chew that feels closer to a perfectly made brioche. Every bite feels fresh and intentional, not greasy or heavy. read more
I've visited Creamy Seoul twice with friends and I confidently say they're my favorite donuts in DFW! It's a small shop that has one table if you choose to dine in, but most people take their donuts to go. They rotate their flavors every day and are only open Fri-Sun from 8am-2pm. Their donuts are fluffy, light, and not too sweet. All their flavors are so delicious; there's not a single one I dislike. Everyone has their own flavor preferences, but my favorites would have to be blueberry, vanilla, and yuja. Their drinks are okay - coffee is on the sweeter side and I probably wouldn't order their matcha latte again (you can't really taste the matcha). They also only offer cold drinks. But I'll happily come back again for their delicious donuts! The two times I've been, we showed up at near open, but the line tends to die down by 9am so if you don't want to wait in a long line at open, you could probably show up between 9-10am and still get all the donuts your heart desires. Overall, I recommend you try some of the tastiest Korean cream donuts! read more

Literally the best donuts I ever had. I am not really a donut person but I don't even think these are comparable. Compared to donuts, these are light and airy. Also, they weren't super sweet which you would expect from "donuts." I came around 11, almost 12 on a Friday and they still had every flavor besides chocolate with 1 left. I heard they sold out quick and they open only until 2 so I was surprised. We got strawberry, chocolate, earl grey and vanilla. The strawberry one was my favorite. Second was vanilla. I will definitely be returning to try other flavors. The only downfall for me is that flower mound is so far but I guess it's good for my waistline and wallet but if you're nearby, definitely a must try. And even if you're not, I'd say it's worth the drive. read more

Very yum!!! They usually have a line esp on Sunday mornings but it goes by pretty quickly. I always love a good sweet treat and the donuts at creamy seoul def satisfy that craving! The donut itself is light and has a slight chew which i love, and their different flavor rotations are great! My favorite so far is the strawberry one!! The fresh strawberries compliment the donut and fresh cream filling very well c: i also tried the earl grey (5/5) and yuzu (4/5), and injeolmi (3/5)- i think injeolmi was okay but wish it had more of the injeolmi flavor!! Einspanner coffee is also yummy - it reminds me of the ones i had in korea Overall i def will be back to try their other flavors and you should stop by if youre in the area for a sweet treat! If you're looking for a really light, nicely filled donut, THIS IS THE SPOT. There's usually a line out the door before they open but it moves quick. Their brioche dough is soft and pillowy and tastes amazing, The fillings on a lot of them, however, didn't have a very strong taste; there also wasn't much red bean paste in the red bean donut. That aside, this place is great and definitely worth the hype!! read more

Minimalistic. Clean. Vibey. I visited Korea in 2019 and the store front reminds of the small shops on my trip. The donuts are INSANELY fluffy and delightful. The filling inside is whipped so it tastes like a cloud as you bite into it. I went with the 4 pack! The Blueberry is a must get. My biggest note to why this is one of the best donuts I've ever had...it doesn't taste too sugary. Normally fillings and flavorings are packed with a sugary taste that almost upsets my stomach. This donut does not do that. This donut is balanced with taste and texture. Get to this spot before there's lines around the block for it. If this place isn't hot and busy already it soon will be. They are the best donut I've ever tried. read more
A must try if you love creamy donut Right when I enter, I was greeted with two lovely ladies (who seemed to be managing or owned the place) and was super welcoming. There's only a select few of donuts so you KNOW it's specialized and gonna be good. It's a cute small shop and pretty straight to the point. They offer a few drinks and their main focus is the cream donuts. I actually really enjoy desserts that aren't too sweet but still do the job being delicious. And these hit the spot. They also do a stamp card so make sure you ask for that. And their most popular donut is the strawberry cream donut. I will definitely be back here again with friends! read more

Went for my birthday to see if these donuts lived up to all the hype and they 100% did! Soft, airy, and just delicious. Sweet but not too sweet, just perfect! Service was great, very friendly and informative ladies. Nice little spot, looked lively inside. read more
