We came by Creamy Seoul Donut around noon on a Saturday. Honestly, the inside and outside decor felt pretty bland compared to how hyped this place is. No line at all when we got there, and it's more of a grab-and-go donut shop than a sit-down spot. Ordered, paid, and were out in under 5 minutes -- super quick stop. It seems that they only have a selection of 8 or 9 donuts on any given day. Their days and hours of operation are pretty limited and, despite that, they're still super hyped up. Goes to show how good they are. We got the pistachio, earl grey, and yuzu. The yuzu was probably my favorite -- nice strong citrus flavor without being overly sweet. Pistachio leaned sweeter but still tasted good; you could tell they used real pistachio. Earl grey was the sweetest of the bunch, definitely gives you that tea flavor but in donut form. All of their donuts are loaded with cream inside, so if you're into rich, creamy desserts this is your spot. Finally, made it into Creamy Seoul donut shop... on a cold & stormy day! Day before Easter, and it is 57°F with strong wind & rain from the north! I drove a long way for an appointment in fabulous Flower Mound, Texas, 40 minutes of passing wrecks on the freeway (hope nobody hurt) and cops diverting traffic. Wind was crazy too. Short visit, staff was helpful & kind, all four of them! Most donut shops have 1 or 2 persons up front. Tiny lobby here. They do not serve Hot Coffee, their selection of specialty drinks is iced, for the sweet heat of Texas life. I was raving about Creamy Seoul to my friend from Houston and how it is probably my favorite bakery in Dallas. We drove 45 minutes in the morning just to grab a few of their donuts, that's how dedicated I am for these donuts. They went viral on tiktok after the first time I went and would sell out very fast. Luckily for us, the hype has died down now and they still had plenty of every flavor available left. They rotate their flavors every week. We ordered the mango, blueberry, biscoff, and yuja donuts. All are filled with cream of their respective flavors. My favorite was by far the mango one. Even though it's not mango season yet, these mangos were good. I would rank them in order of the box, next best was blueberry, then biscoff, then yuja. Yuja is basically the Korean version of yuzu, very citrusy. The store was pretty small with quite simple decor, which is great. There were 7 flavors of donuts for me to choose and I couldn't decide, so I got one of each. The first one I tried was the earl grey one. I am surprised by the earl grey flavor, because it was hard to make earl grey flavor to taste good but they did! It was not too sweet and I could easily have a couple of these. The other flavors I got are - strawberry, chocolate, pistachios, red bean & cream, biscoff, yuja. I shared some of these with some friends. Everyone has anything but great comments about the brioche. I also ordered the Iced matcha strawberry. I didn't know what to expect but I was pleased with my experience. You walk into a cute little retro vibe with the old school radio and decor. The staff was patient and kind. I had the strawberry donut with a strawberry matcha latte. You would think I would be overwhelmed with strawberry but not the case. The donut was fresh and light, not overly sweet, even with the cream in the middle. Delicious! There's space matcha was really good too! The hype for this place is true. We arrived the other week on their one year anniversary. And if you follow them on social media you will come to find that business is great. They will sell out if you don't get there early enough. Now the question though does it taste good? The answer to this question is YES! We ordered 4 donuts and a matcha. The matcha was very good. As for the donuts my favorite was the biscoff followed by the strawberry, lemon and blueberry. Now my wife's favorite was the blueberry. Each donut was consistent with a creamy inside mixed with its main flavor. After eating the donuts I can see why they are fantastic. Besides the four flavors I mentioned there are more but if you want to sample a few to start things out you can easily handle a box of four donuts. As of this review, one other item to state here is that the business is only open three days a week. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. So make sure you plan your visit ahead of time. Finally tried their donuts. I waited a few months until the initial craze was done. But that was just me and my wishful thinking. There was still a long line. We got the earl Grey, Chocolate and strawberry. The donuts were soft and yummy. The cream fillings were not so sweet which I loved. Our favorite was the strawberry. The Earl gray was also good. I absolutely adore this place! The owners are the sweetest, most enthusiastic people you could ever meet in your life. Their donuts are incredible! The donut itself is so light and fluffy yet cream flavor is just incredible. It's only open on the weekends and the lines are insane. But it's totally worth it because if you come later, the best flavors are usually sold out. And all the folks who wait in line are so sweet and give their own favorites. I finally got to try the donuts and can confirm they are amazing!! I love that you can order through Instagram the night before. That really is the best thing. They sell out quickly and there is a long line if you don't. You can pick up until 2 and if there is a line when you go to pick up you can bypass it. Even when the donuts are sold out you can still get drinks. I tried 6 donuts and a mango matcha. The flavors i got were yuja (yuzu), mango, strawberry, pistachio, choco, and lotus (cookie-butter). I've visited Creamy Seoul twice with friends and I confidently say they're my favorite donuts in DFW! It's a small shop that has one table if you choose to dine in, but most people take their donuts to go. They rotate their flavors every day and are only open Fri-Sun from 8am-2pm. Their donuts are fluffy, light, and not too sweet. All their flavors are so delicious; there's not a single one I dislike. Everyone has their own flavor preferences, but my favorites would have to be blueberry, vanilla, and yuja. Their drinks are okay - coffee is on the sweeter side and I probably wouldn't order their matcha latte again (you can't really taste the matcha). They also only offer cold drinks. But I'll happily come back again for their delicious donuts! The two times I've been, we showed up at near open, but the line tends to die down by 9am so if you don't want to wait in a long line at open, you could probably show up between 9-10am and still get all the donuts your heart desires. Also, they weren't super sweet which you would expect from "donuts." I came around 11, almost 12 on a Friday and they still had every flavor besides chocolate with 1 left. I heard they sold out quick and they open only until 2 so I was surprised. We got strawberry, chocolate, earl grey and vanilla. The strawberry one was my favorite. Second was vanilla. I will definitely be returning to try other flavors. The only downfall for me is that flower mound is so far but I guess it's good for my waistline and wallet but if you're nearby, definitely a must try.
