Don't recommend I came here to get an alignment and alignment cam pin press back in ,they told me they had to weld them back .I got the truck back and got home and put it on ramps to look at it good it started making a clunk noise.i check it and looked at there welds they where bad and on the passenger side, all the welds didn't hold and they damaged the control arm bushing when they put a grinder to grind the welds down he gridded half the bushing which is making the clunking noise .I went back to the shop to complain. I told him I wanted a refund and for him to pay for damages done he refused and got the worker out and the worker said he didn't do it. I payed almost 400 dollars for nothing just for them to cut my control arm bushing up ,the alignment that was done is gone. read more

It amazes me how many people complain after a business makes one mistake. These guys are really good people and go out of their way to make sure job is correct. Norman and Shane know everything there is to know about an automobile and they are not in business to rip anyone off. I've had several vehicles worked on and Shane always makes sure everything is good before I pick my vehicle up. It's just ridiculous reading some of the comments on here. Parr3 has serviced 5 of the cars we have had for over 18 years. Mr. Norman and his son Shane, as well as the Team, from oil change, mechanics, to the front desk, are warm, listening, and try to go above snd beyond for every customer. With their awesome diagnostics, they can find the actual issue and not just "parts swap" guessing and hoping it gets repaired. In the 18 years of service I have never had to return because something was not done right the first time. What mechanic/repair can you say about that? I spun a bearing in my car. I took it to them, and they insisted i needed a different oil pan than the one that is made specifically for my car. Instead of reusing the oil pan that came on the car, they got a new one, charged me for it, cut up my entire front end and "welded" it back together just to make room for this new oil pan. In addition to, the engine work they did was terrible, and they didn't stand behind their work. 3 of the 16 lifters they installed were bad, one of my rocker arms were torqued out of spec and resulted in a shredded pushrod. These guys are a joke, and I wouldn't trust them to do more than change my oil or brakes. Stand behind your mistakes. Own them and learn from it. read more

Went in to get 3 tires put on my car and found out AFTER I paid that I was also being charged for an oil change. I didn't ask for one and they didn't tell me I was being charged for it either. Definitely won't be returning for future services. read more

Mr. Parr is a wonderful person. I started going to him about 4-5 years with my first car. After two weeks, he told me he could not fix it, suggested another place, charge me NOTHING for all the labor. I appreciated it so much I returned with my other 2 cars. He is the only shop I let do work on my vehicles in the area. That HONESTY led to him doing GREAT work on all of my vehicles at very reasonable rates. You owe it to yourself to take your vehicle to Norman Parr! read more

Parr 3 is a great service center! I take all my vehicles there and they are very competitive with tire prices. They also have the best car was in town right across the street! They also use nitrogen in their tires which doesn't respond to changes in temperature and keeps tire pressures even, NASCAR uses this. read more

Don't ever go here for an alignment if you want a straight deal. I took my truck in the other day for a front end alignment (2 wheels) and they charged me for a 4 wheel alignment. When questioned they claim that all alignments are the same, which is complete BS. There is no way to adjust the rear end on a solid axle truck, and therefore no reason to charge the same as a 4 wheel alignment, which is overpriced already at $79.99. I do all of my own maintenance and only defer to shops for specialty services like alignments, but these guys will not receive any more of my business. read more

I took my truck to Parr's and asked them to look at the A/C because it suddenly stopped working. Mr Parr promptly looked at it and quoted me $1,279.00. He said that the compressor was bad which is probably the worst case scenario. That hurts. I can afford it, but what if you live week to week or even month to month. Most people would either go without or use a credit card and go further into debt. So, I take my 2014 Silverado to a friend that I know and trust. By the way I was just going to Parr's to see what he'd say and If it was just a couple of hundred dollars I'd patronize the local business and spread the love, so to speak. So with the news of a fix cost of $ 1,279.00, I went to my friend. It cost $ 347.59. The problem was the high pressure line from compressor to evaporator. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! They get a 2 star only because they did the work. I'm new to the area so when one of my work trucks broke down I called and spoke to Norman and he assured me that he would be honest all along the way. Norman told me my truck needed a tune up for $300+ so I thought since it's an older truck and it had been a while I would have the hoses and belts done as well and I also asked them to see if there was anything else that may need repair. Again, at this point i'm thinking all I have spent is $300 for a tune up. Norman called back the next day and said that we also needed front brakes and that the starter seemed a little bit week and it could go at any moment and that the total would be $1300 for everything. That seem like a fair price so I told him to go ahead. When my son went to pick up the truck our bill was almost $2000. When I asked how it went from $1300-$2000 Norman told me that he had informed me that we were already at $1300 before the brakes and the starter. Do the math people $300 for a tuneup plus belts and hoses does that sound like $1300? Bottom line they totally misinformed and Norman is a liar and I told him on the phone so I don't feel bad writing it in this review. Lesson learned because I guess I should've got it in writing but because of our conversation where he assured me that he would treat us the way he would want to be treated I felt like I could trust him. Was very disappointed in their quality of work and customer service. I don't usually write reviews, but I chose Parr based off the very few (2) good reviews that were posted on Yelp and decided that consumers should know my experience. I took my 16 year old's 2009 car in for a brake job, and after the work was complete, she drove about 10 miles to work and her brakes had overheated and were smoking quite a bit. We called Parr and we were told that this was normal for new brakes. I checked them when she got home and the new brakes had worn down significantly and the rotors were discolored from overheating. I took the car back the next day and they replaced brakes and rotors again and said we needed a new caliper and replaced that as well. Next day, same problem. They said to bring it by again and they would replace. At this point out of concern for my daughters safety and my lack of confidence in Parr to correct the situation I took the car to the dealer and they had to re-do all the work Parr had done including the new caliper that was put on and we were told that it is rare for a 2009 to need new calipers. I went to Parr and had asked them if they would be willing to refund some of the labor, I was not asking for any reimbursement for parts, including the Calipers that I am still not sure we needed until the brakes overheated so badly from their brake job. They refused to give any relief at all. I had paid Parr $551 at this point and then turned around and paid the dealer another $443 to do the job correctly. Have not had any problems since getting it back from the dealer. I'm not saying that people don't make mistakes, but the honorable thing would be to make them right. A portion of the labor refunded would have made me feel more whole and would have avoided the negative publicity. I would not advise going to Parr. read more
