They offer a shuttle service, and the owner who is super kind will personally take you home and pick you up while your car is being worked on. Their prices are very reasonable, and they are genuinely some of the nicest people you'll meet. I had issues with the last place I'd been going to because they always called with some other major thing that was supposedly wrong with my car to charge me extra for something every time I went in--even when I was already paying for major repairs. I know it's because I'm a female and they would try to scare me into more work being done. Choosing Pro Tire was the best decision I could have made. I had my oil changed in or about February this year before going on a trip. I very rarely drive the truck but was going on a trip and decided to have it serviced. the other day I was driving it to see my wife in the hospital and noticed the engine running rough and very noisy. I pulled over and when I checked the oil there was none in the engine. I added the oil and returned home to see what the problem was. I found oil gushing from the oil filter and went to the parts store for a new filter. When I tried to remove the filter it was so tight I had to get a special oil filter wrench to get it off. The instructions say to hand tighten and then 1/4 turn not to torque it down to 75 lb. this used to be a good place to take your car but if they cant change oil properly I wont be going there anymore. read more

Following a business appointment nearby, I stopped here because I needed an alignment and they could get me right in (said it was a slow day). I was treated nicely upon arrival and they quickly took my car into the shop. In passing, I mentioned that I had been hearing a periodic soft popping noise by the driver's right front wheel area and asked them to see if they noticed anything. They came back a while later and informed me that they wouldn't do the alignment because I needed over $900 worth of repairs to my car's front end - new struts and sway bar links. That was a bit surprising since I'd recently had new tires installed and also had a recent brake job - and both said the front end looked good. So, I decided to take it to my regular mechanic for another opinion. He looked at both items and informed me that they were in terrific shape. No such repair was needed. Rather, he located a minor problem that had developed on the brake rotor. Quick, easy, and inexpensive fix. So, I feel like Pro Tire was either incompetent or trying to sell me a bill of goods. "We did the work you paid us to do" Three weeks ago, my A/C was not working so I had it checked by a shop and was told I needed a new compressor. I asked around on FB and several people suggested Pro Tire & Auto (PT). I called them and said I have a Hybrid (they have a secondary system that non Hybrids don't) and my A/C was not working and was told that I needed a new compressor. They said they know how to work on hybrid A/C systems and to bring it in. I needed it fixed because I was going out of town for Labor Day that weekend. I dropped the car off, and the next day they called to say my car was ready to be picked up. I was working so Mom picked it up for me. The next morning I loaded my stuff so that I could leave after work and turned on my A/C...... The air was slightly cooler than when it was broken, but obviously not working and definitely not $1100 colder. I assumed it's a Freon leak and sucked it up for a few sweaty days out of town. When I come back I called PT to say it's not working. They asked me to bring it in because "Rich (the owner) will definitely want to take a look and see why it's not working". I take it back to see what happened from when they fixed it until 12 hours later the next morning when it wasn't working. The owner, Rich Lesh, calls to say he's checked the whole system and doesn't know why it's not working, and suggests I just take it to a Ford dealership instead. I went back in today to ask some follow-up questions hoping it's one of the issues I found mentioned online and hope they just missed something. I also wanted to ask if it was working when they called me to pick it up. (It would have to be a significant leak to lose all the Freon in 12 hours) Rich tells me IT WAS NOT WORKING WHEN THEY CALLED ME TO PICK IT UP. It felt slightly cooler than when I brought it in, but not what he would consider working. When I asked him why I wasn't told "we replaced the compressor, but your A/C still isn't working" he said "We did the work you paid us to do. I don't know why you wanted your compressor replaced". It is very disappointing that a business owner would pretend to be this oblivious. To be honest, no, I did not tell Rich himself that I wanted a working A/C, because I didn't speak with him when I made my appointment. I told the woman who answered the phone "my A/C isn't working, I had it checked and was told I need a new Compressor. Do you guys work on Hybrid A/C systems?" I didn't know that I explicitly needed to tell the repairman too, or they would think "this guys just wants to spend $1100". Rich said he didn't know what the problem was and didn't know how to fix it. I asked if Rich knew how to work on Hybrid A/C systems. He doesn't have a lot of experience with them, but he's worked on some before. He did at least say that "maybe" they had dropped the ball on this. It took three trips there and the direct question, "was my car working when you first called me to pick it up", to find all this out. I'm not angry, I'm disappointed. A mediocre business just does what their paid to do. An excellent business says Hmmm, we replaced the compressor and his A/C still isn't working. He probably wants a working A/C, so maybe we should tell him. And they definitely wouldn't have me waste my time to bring it BACK IN when THEY ALREADY KNEW it wasn't working, and they had NO IDEA how to repair it. TLDR: Me: My A/C isn't working and I need a new compressor. Do you work on Hybrids? PT: Yes, bring it in tomorrow. PT: Your car is ready Me - - $1100 - - PT Me: It's not working. PT: Bring it back in. Yep, still not working. Me: What?! Still not working?! Why didn't you tell me that when you first called me. PT: We did the work you paid us to do. I don't know why you wanted your compressor replaced. Plus I'm not super experienced repairing them. I don't know what you want me to do. read more

Extremely poor customer service and care. The owner Rich is argumentative and belligerent. I dropped off my car at 8 a.m. for an oil change. They closed at 3:00. 7 hours later I returned after calling a couple of times to see if they had gotten to it. I came back at 2:55 and they had still not gotten my car in. I was frustrated and said so. The girl mentioned that they were backed up from the day before but they would still get my car in. I said that if they had told me that I could have taken my car somewhere else for an oil change. (Instead my car sat there for 7 hours) The owner was there and was clearly wanting to pick a fight. He started to hand me my keys and said, "So you want to take your car somewhere else or will you wait a 1/2 hour while we take car of your car? I said I was fine to wait. He went on to say how I should not have come in with that attitude. I said I did not know they were backed up from the prior day--no one told me this. He said "You should have asked." Really?? I should have asked?? How am I supposed to know to ask. Is it my responsibility to know they are backed up or is it their responsibility to let me know their situation?? Places that care about good customer service, care about communicating well to their customers. He continued to argue with me and I was so frustrated I was arguing back. Finally, he handed me my keys and said he would not work on my car. Wow. He was not at all apologetic that my car had sat for 7 hours, not understanding of my frustration, and not conciliatory. He cost me 7 hours without a vehicle when I could have easily gotten an oil change earlier elsewhere. By the way, this was a Saturday, so I was out of luck till Monday when I had to work. Then, I was heading out of town. He created a huge inconvenience for me. read more
