Diana was always helpful and warm. Now I don't know if it was because he was the person we dealt with the most, or it's just how good he is but Rudy is the best. They all have busy lives and jobs but Rudy went above and beyond what you would expect from a project manager. You expect the person fixing a problem to be a sub contractor but nope, it was Rudy. He is funny too. We got along great and he helped explain things many times. We didn't ask for anything fancy, standard things and sometimes I wish we did things different now, but those are all personal choices. They had so many options I felt a little overwhelmed choosing and just started making gut reactions. They would have changed them if I wanted, I am still happy with the outcome. I only offer one word of advice, construction clean up is way more than it lets on. It by far is the most negative thing I could say about the process. If You can hire someone do it. Rent a dump trailer if you can't hire someone, I promise it is worth it.

Me being a responsible individual emailed this morning to make sure my apportionment for noon today 8/13 was still on, I had not heard any correspondence so I figured Id cross their T's and dot their I's, just in case. I did receive a prompt return email saying actually the appointment was between 2-4, not 12-2 as originally offer over the phone. Nonetheless, I'll take that, I'm here, tho since the initial offered appt was now being moved back 2 hours I emailed back stating if u can come earlier please do. Well @ 415 I decided to call, to be told that technician she thought had already been there?! So she called him, he said he called me and I canceled the service, now she was realizing she had put down 2 almost identical phone numbers down,(mind you I've had 3 separate phone calls 2 of which they called me) where we made correspondence with my #. Their best offer was rather only offer was they might be able to maybe make it out next week? Not first thing tomorrow, not right now, possibly, maybe next week, it's Wednesday of this week, not Friday! Thank you very little, but no thank you, pretty lame.

Because of that history it was a no brainer when I wanted to have a half acre fenced in with a big electric gate at the driveway. I got three quotes, Stacey was the middle guy. I didn't mind paying a little extra because he had such knowledge and put me in a completely new direction, one that was more affective. Stacey had suggestions others hadn't mentioned and as I stated, knowledge. We had many appointments before finalizing this project. Stacey was always on time. Never leaving me hanging on, wondering where he was. He always called and touched bases shortly before our appointment. He told me how far out he was booked and gave me a guesstimate of when he and his crew would start. He was right on time. He started when he said he would. The guys that worked for him could not of been more of a joy to have around. Always picking up after them selves, never leaving a mess at the end of any day. All of the fencing was wrapped up in the timeframe he said it would be. A project I had dreaded but one Stacey and his crew made fun. He mentioned to me that it sounded like a small job and they don't do small jobs but since I lived in the same neighborhood that they would do it anyway. Again I told them that when they arrived I would show them what all needed to be done because it wasn't THAT small of a job. When I didn't hear anything from them for two weeks, I called Bend Fencing who promptly came over, gave me an estimate and I hired them right on the spot. Yesterday Redmond Fence finally called me back. They told me that they had been by the place and that the job was too small. I found that statement interesting due to the fact that I am the only one that lives here, my neighbors don't know what I wanted done here and Redmond Fence never had me come out and show them what all needed to be done. This leads me to believe that they were never here at all. I'm glad that Bend Fence likes to make money because apparently Redmond Fence has so much money they can pick their jobs they want to do. Update: In response to the owner's rebuttal. How could they have looked at what needed to be done if I never showed them to begin with? I only explained briefly over the phone what needed to be done. I then told them over the phone that they needed to let me know when they showed up. I stated to them that the reason for this is that there were several things that needed to be done and it was easier to show them rather than explain it. In the end the project was sizable including three gates and over 100 feet of fence.

Our only complaint was that it could be difficult at times to get in contact with them, but I am thrilled with the final product and overall experience. However we had countless committed dates for installation that came and gone. They would often say they would be onsite and never show up. Early on I referred them to a friend of ours and they experienced the same thing as they would most often never show up. Eventually after the job was complete, we found that the eye sensors for the gate were not hooked up and the job site was not cleaned up. We asked the owner to come clean the site but never returned. Biggest complaint is that they would say they would be there and never show up where we consistently had to call to find out when they would return.

It's now been almost three months and phone calls to them with no responses and no fixing of the imperfections like they said they would.
