A 5 minute walk takes you to Idle Awhile, a waterfront restaurant next door to the RV park. Excellent food with a great view of the river. If you're looking for big city excitement this is not the place for you but if you're into a beautiful place with peaceful tranquility, check out Port Cove RV Resort and Marina. We stayed here for (8) nights through the Memorial Day Holiday and it was a wonderful experience…read morestarting with the online reservation process through the simple online check in, although I highly recommend stopping in upon your arrival at the front office to confirm your site and get the lay of the land and your key fob that allows you easy access to all of the parks amenities. The staff here is amazing, they are very friendly and they communicate everything via text if you opted in - for example I received text messages to make us aware of the food truck schedules, maintenance activities on the laundry and club house activities so do yourself a favor and opt in. The premium pull-through sites are very spacious, level and comes with a very large patio constructed with pavers and concrete borders although the parking site is a well executed compacted asphalt millings composite. I really like the amount of green space between the sites allowing some privacy and there is plenty of room to maneuver the wide paved roads no matter the size of your rig - this resort is beautiful and well maintained, all the utilities (sewer, water and electrical) are easily accessible with plenty of water pressure, I didn't use their wi-fi so I can't speak of its performance but a clear view of the sky allowed my on-board internet network to maintain a very strong signal during our entire stay. This is a RV Resort I plan to visit again and again since we love to visit St. Augustine, this location is only minutes from the city center so you can schedule a pickup by the trolly service for a day of adventure without having to deal with downtown parking fees. There's lots to love here with some affordable stay options...

Seeing various wildlife was a daily event: gators, turtles, kingfisher, herons and a wood stork. The campground is small and remote. The sights are narrow and short. It has mix of FHU and E&W only. The park's electric and sewer does need some work, our sewer connection malfunctioned, but they did repair itright away. Also had inconsistent power, our GFCI kept tripping. (Never happened before or after). So the ground may have been a problem. The closest full service grocery store is a Winn-Dixie in Crescent City, Seville does have a Dollar General. Local Restaurants: Pierson Family Diner- good home cooking. Idle Awhile- nice bar, good food, indoor & outdoor seating on the lake and live music.
