Wanted to leave yet another review for Parrish Tire & Automotive. I can't say enough good things about these guys. In the last couple of months I had gotten a new battery for my car but I got in it one day last week and it wouldn't turn over. NOTHING. I suspected it may be the starter, the alternator, a blown fuse or even worse, computer or electrical issues. I was able to start it with a jump, but any time I turned it off, it would not start again without one. Mike and Steve were able to get me in pretty quickly. These guys have a lot of integrity and perform good, honest work. They discovered the only thing wrong was faulty/loose battery cables and they got the repairs done quickly. The repair cost me less than $100. I'm grateful to have such a great auto shop in my area. I will be a customer for life here! read more

This is a hidden gem of car repair places. I had an issue where smoke was coming from my brakes. I needed immediate next day help and called this place. I used Yelp to see what my options were and they have great reviews. I can confirm that George is awesome on the phone and in person. Whole crew here is working their butts off and cares about what they do. They are definitely gifted in the art of automotive wizardry. I was a new customer. I don't know these guys at all. I hate getting new tires. At least I used to. The expense, brand selection, dealer selection, etc., can cause one to dread and avoid it. But my tires were in bad shape--I had threads showing. They were what my beloved late father would call "Maypop tires" (because they may pop at any moment). Something had to be done. So I called a few places and priced a couple of brands. Mock Tire at the Village in Clemmons was outstanding. Steve was extremely helpful and patient as he explained my options. Depending on the brand, they came in $150-$250 less than other places I called. And this is the second time they have come in with such a great price for me. I wasn't sure of my schedule, and I was told I could just bring it by when I had a chance. I did, and was out of there in well under an hour with brand new shoes for my truck. I've been to Parrish twice now with two vehicles that both got a roofing nail in a tire. They were able to help out right away. Besides being very professional and organized, they are also friendly and extremely helpful. This was especially evident after the second visit when we went to pick up the vehicle after I had paid, and picked up the key. When we returned after hours, we discovered we had a dead battery, broken bonnet cable, and had to leave the vehicle over night in front of the building. We left a note. Next morning, the bonnet is open, the battery hooked up and charged. I asked to pay, but they refused compensation for their time and assistance. We came off of I-40 with low pressure run flat tire. We had hit a metal standard base about 30 miles earlier, and the left rear tire held until just outside of Clemmons. We have always trusted Mock Tire in the Winston-Salem area during the years we lived there. On this day we were driving through. We were fortunate to be so close to Mock in Clemmons. They were able to look at the tire immediately. The tire sidewall was blown. They found a comparable used tire, in good condition, and mounted it quickly. We were back on the road within an hour. I've been taking my car here for several years now, and I've always received prompt, quality repair and service. They get busy, so it's best if you make an appointment, even for oil changes. The pricing is always very fair, and I trust them. It's so hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, but these guys are. I've bought my last 3-4 sets of tires from them, get my oil changes there, and take my car for repair there first. If there is something they can't do (e.g. exhaust, transmission, etc), they always recommend someone they can trust as well. I think of them as "my mechanic", and you should as well. read more

This place always gets my car taken care of & they are very efficient and surprisingly are able to be flexible with the plans that I have and get my car out in time, which a lot of places require you to be completely free so you can stay all day & wait. I needed some minor work done on my 1999 Tacoma. I informed them a few days earlier and though they don't really have an appt system, they sort of scheduled me; no specific time so I took a chance and showed up early, just after they opened. The work was done and it wasn't an all day thing!! I had been using the Peters Creek location forever, but decided to give these guys a try, esp since I live in Davie County. I was very impressed. I had been running without air conditioning for about a month and was recommended by the guys who changed my oil down the street to go to Mock and they could help me with my air conditioning not blowing any cool/cold air out. Took my car in for some work and was told I was due for an oil change. They were correct and I authorized the work over the phone. Picked up car and noticed the oil change indicator was on. Had a funny feeling, checked the oil and discovered that the oil change was never done.
